Lmao I was in the theater packed last night this trailer came on literally everyone got scared at 2:13 it was the first time in a while i seen the whole theater react together to something
Just watched the movie and it was genuinely chilling. Haven’t watched too many scary movies and certainly haven’t been scared by many at all but this one did it for me. I think the one thing that makes this movie truly terrifying is the fact that it’s psychological, and when something seems very real and human (very much uncanny valley), it brings on a different sense of paranoia since our features define us all too well. Seeing something like you but slightly off is definitely unsettling
This is actually the most spooky horror movie trailer I’ve seen in years. Props to who ever made it, usually the trailer spoils everything but this one left you with wonder and curiosity. Looked pretty scary especially the end part with the woman and the car window.
@@spce777 Hereditary, Midsomer. Malignant, Jacobs Ladder, I Saw the Devil, The Wailing, Triangle, Midnight Meat Train, The Thing The Mist, It follows, Wrong Turn (Most recen), The Green Room, The Void and Lake Mungo. All good ones to see, so you know what horror movies can do. Even the gore fest ones here are different to what you'd think counts as a horror film. All amazing films beyond scares!
Just saw this movie. It is genius in how horrifying it is even in it's simplicity. Definitely worth watching in theatres. The horror techniques used including pacing, cinematography, audio mixing, and misleading was all done very well. It is a great study of the standard of a psychological horror movie.
Exactly I just said that in my comment. .what Hollywood doing smiley face horror films now? Smiling will cause you death now? I have so many concerns and questions about this 😂😅
The scenes shot upside down in the trailer are referring to the scene at 0:56 that shows the scale of pain patients are in from 1-10. The poster shows an upside down smile on the scale (frown) is the worst kind of pain while a normal smile is no pain. The scenes that are shot upside down are imagery portraying the people who are smiling are actually in the worst kind of pain (according to the poster at 0:56).
@@mufdiver9406 It Follows and this are dead even in my opinion. To be honest I thought this was a little scarier but It Follows had one scene in it that I thought was one of the most impressive horror scenes ever made. It’s The scene when the main girl is in class and it’s just a normal day and she takes a peek out the window and sees some creepy old person walking straight in her direction and she collects her books and just leaves the classroom and then she sees the old person still coming right at her in the hallway and also realized that the other people in the hallway couldn’t see it, only her.
Is this the only horror movie you've seen? It's literally cash grab with stolen ideas from other movies and cheap jumpscares every 5 minutes. The scene where she puts voice really loud was just disgusting and stupid I thought I'll lost my ears. I would rate it -3/10.
So out of curiosity me and my friend decided to watch this movie today, and this movie was actually really intense. I kinda joked the small ads I saw before hand where pretty crappy, but the movie itself makes up for it. It’s a total mind-f, has a good story which keeps you invested, and some major wtf moments I doubt I’ll ever forget, this movie is worth a go for horror-thriller fanatics
Gotta be real, I went to the cinema yesterday to watch this one with my fellas, and my friend told me that the movie was actually really good, but to be honest I didn't even expect that was a horror movie (I didn't even watched the trailer), I thought that it just was a soft thrill movie, but I gotta be real, this is the best horror movie I watched in my life. Even better than some classics I saw. The soundtrack, the story, the ambience. A masterpiece.
I have NOT been scared from a horror movie until NOW! This is one of the best movies I have ever scene. The acting, the jump scares, literally the WHOLE movie itself is so freaking awesome man..
@@jacquelineess1141 except the jump scares in this movie weren’t cheap and actually came at unexpected times. I agree that most of the time jump scares are cheap and annoying but they are genuinely done well in this movie because they create the right amount of tension before most of the scares.

This movie is great. While not exactly the best of the best in the horror genre, but definitely one of the worthy horror films there is. The cinematography is amazing, the soundtrack is tense and unnerving, the jump scares are properly executed. Worth the watch!
I was leaving the theater to go to the restroom and this trailer came on. I was so intrigued by it I decided to stay to watch it and I was not disappointed. That last scene, just as everyone else is saying, definitely sold me on wanting to see the movie. It was such a good scare and SO unexpected! Very well executed by the director, I can't wait to see it to see what else they came up with in this movie because I love supernatural horror movies!
I haven't seen anyone talking about it, so I'll add my opinion about one of the scariest parts of this trailer. The music. It sends chills down my spine, even though its just a repeating pattern of one note sometimes. But the way that note moves as if its getting closer or further away sometimes truly horrifies me. And there's something extremely uncanny about the breathiness and the perfect pitch of the note that makes my skin crawl. Trailer wouldn't have been half as scary without it. Even listening to the soundtrack alone without visual was scary for me.
This had me screaming so many times. Don't watch the trailer. I watched this in the movie theatre without knowing what the premise was and I did not regret it. 10/10 for the horror. Loved every scary moment of it. It's not the typical ghost horror but this was sooooo scary!
I saw this last night and CRIED because of how bad I felt for Rose. Literally I felt like I was going insane with her 😅 it was very scary and extremely well put together. It was awesome!
when she was in the room with her “ mother “ that was honestly the best part of the whole movie because many kids experienced that type of “ love “ from their mothers
My girlfriend and me were truly terrified and I find scary movies quite funny because of the cliche and how they try too hard. This was not one of them we truly were horrified, amazing movie.
Brilliant last shot. It looks so real because it WAS. They had 2 girls, 1 at the window & 1 on the roof of the car. The girl on top simply swings her head down wildly. The tension-marks in her neck were either done by make-up or a little CGI. You can do so much with practical effects with a little ingenuity & imagination.
Those sinister smiles remind me of this school principal of mine in 2009. I was halfway through high school, that time. He never stopped smiling at ANY REMARK HE MADE...Even when really angry. Parents, staff and even teachers were scared of him. This was the one man I know, who made a whole school be scared of him.
I saw that preview trailer before Top Gun Maverick plays. When I saw people smiling too much, I realized it’s actually because it can make people seem creepy.

As someone who's watched a few horror movies in his time, I really liked this one. It is by no means 100% original. It's easily possible to pick out parts that are very reminiscent of other movies. But it has stayed with me in a way that a lot of movies just don't. Seeing it in the theater probably helped a lot.
Born 28 years ago, I have never been afraid or remembered anything as vivid as this movie before in my life. This should be pinned. I enjoyed the movie but it was all seen before, but sound and cinematography had me blown away and made the movie so incredible!
There’s another movie I watched awhile ago, it’s called Clinical and hopefully it’s still on Netflix, it’s a psychological horror/thriller genre movie and that movie shook me to my core and still has a lasting effect on me since it ties a lot of reality and mental illnesses in it

Right!? Reminds me of that and Final Destination 2 when they visited the patient who lived (Ali Larter.) Idk the character’s name.
The scenes shot upside down in the trailer are referring to the scene at 0:56 that shows the scale of pain patients are in from 1-10. The poster shows an upside down smile on the scale (frown) is the worst kind of pain while a normal smile is no pain.
