I once vended at a new show and for three days was next to a very nice vendor with a tractor to power making ice cream. So every half hour or so he fired up the tractor and made ice cream. The kids loved it. No one near him sold anything while it was running. You couldn't hear anything and it smelled of diesel. When I talked with the coordinator it was obvious that it hadn't occurred to her that smells and noise needed to be taken into consideration. Luckily not of my yarn picked up the smell.

I don't know if you've ever tried heated apparel. I've got several items from the brand called Ororo. They have vests, hoodies, jackets, pants, socks, and gloves. I've always bought my stuff when there have been deals for Black Friday because it can be a little pricey, but it is probably going to be worth it for you. Definitely need to have extra batteries though, but I find they keep me nice and toasty

I could be completely off on my thinking as to the setup of this university that you did the show at. I Am a history adjunct professor, i literally live five blocks from a major university, which is the one i'm an ad.Junct at, and I have been a part of this university for thirty years, in some aspect, or another, be it student or teaching or the parent of a student a now. I am going to guess that they used tent and lighting in things that they possibly use when they do tailgating like during the football season and set up different type of event things right during football games. If they have a football team, they would do that for. I know at the university that I live by and work at. We, they have major blowout events, every home game that has big tents with tables and electricity and all the things that were provided for you. I just wanted to share my thoughts and what possibly could be going on with the tents and the things that they have. I think that's a really cool market to do for faculty and students.
I like that idea but I don’t even think this university has a football team. It’s a pretty small school and some of the tents said the name of the rental company
