Whats weird to me is why medic weapons have more fucking recoil than assault rifles...

@Cerberus Skunkworks There are in a good place now, if they get buffed more with new guns the would be op. They can revive teammates quick and easy. Also, they have the ability to heal. Imagine them with long-range guns and unlimited health. Idk I find the medics weapon okay cause they are meant to go close quarters.

I don't understand how you can just stand there and shoot everyone on the D flag without them even noticing 0:08. Whenever I flank a flag, I immediately get shot. Usually from multiple people at the same time. It's like we are playing two completely different games.
it is all about positioning, watch your minimap where are your teammates, where are they dying and try to flank enemies from the other sides

Assault should keep the assault rifles, but I think the DMRs and shotguns should be universal weapons for all classes (except maybe scout)

Tinnapob AE. Thammapirom well in bf4 there were weapon types that were universal (Carbines, Shotguns, and DMRs) but each class still had it’s specified weapon type that only they could use

Yes. Intermediate cartridges semi-auto rifles, like the M1 Carbine and Gewehr 1.5 should definitely go to medic or all kit.

Of course there are more guns from bf1 ... its ww1 to ww2 , the main automatic firearms in ww1 where prototypes that were finalised over the next 15 years and used in ww2. Hell the "annihilator" in bf1 was the prototype of the Thompson which was only bought out for use in late 1918 and it was never actually used but they slapped it in anyway

Reveley_97 The Ribeyrolles was only a prototype and didn’t pass military testing, twice. Only 3,000 bullets were made for it and there’s only ever been one photo taken of it that we know about. It wasn’t used in ww1 or ww2 but who gives a shit? It’s just a video game and the gun’s fun to use.

Why can't we get shotguns on medic and make that class short-range focused only? I always felt that with long range rifles of BF1 no one was willing to risk coming close to the heat to risk a revive while being awful at killing many people at close range, with shotguns you would have the ability to kill everyone around and quick revive.

If medics get shotguns or assault rifles or even semi auto rifles there will be no incentive to use other classes. Because you will be able to run around with the most powerful guns while self healing constantly, it will be broken.
Yaso Magatsuhi that was exactly how bf4 was, and that was fine. That’s probably why bf4 was the best, you had many weapons that could be used on many classes.

We just simply need a new level cap. Maybe level 100 will be a good level cap. 50 is too early in my opinion.
Cloudtrap A new level cap would be nice. I hit level 50 so fast. They even remarked about the fact that they were aware that players hit level 50 quicker than they anticipated so I’m pretty sure they will increase it in the future.
Completely agree about the medic class and maps/modes. Hopeful to see what environments they release down the road.

@@Billy_3 I heard a rumor that the chochat LMG & the Browning HMG the Ross Rifle and a few other weapons are already in the game files it's just being held back you can see if you check the the Recon class it says 7/9 even though there are only 7 rifles in the game 8/9 if you count the Selbslater 1906

The rumpy-pumpy (or whatever) appears to be a beast. Not played with it much myself as I've been working up others, but it seems I've been dying to it with little chance of response more than pretty much any other gun. Of course that may be because it's new and a lot of people are using it, but this vid seems to show just how devastating it can be in the right hands.

A lot of weapons were reused for WW1 in WW2. So in terms of historical accuracy, it works.

If they hadn't shipped the game with bugs then this kind of update would be positive, it'd say they used the time to port guns to bug fix instead. But they didn't do either they just rushed it out the door sans a bunch of promised features and are now wasting their efforts on porting guns and dumb TTK patches.

So Dice changed the TTK because new players were dying to quickly... so to fix it, they changed the TTK back to the original settings and gave away a weapon with better accuracy, allowing your shots to be more affective... killing players faster...? Dice is a joke.

Yep, cod gunplay and boring badly designed maps...……...
You can see how many weapons are in plan (as in currently in the game files) for each class when you look at your company.
Example: With the shotgun, my support class says I own 10/12 weapons. So we know there are 12 weapons in the game for the support class. We just cannot currently view two of them. They are locked behind the game files wall so to speak.
Each class has a max number right now and for some classes you know what’s coming (as in the Assault or Recon class with the Tides of War weapon filling those classes in), but others, like the Medic class, we still have no idea what the weapon is that would fill that number count up.
The ribeyrolles is my favorite weapon in multiple battlefields now
