Anyone else suffering from endless loading screens after a map/round finishes? DICE promised to fix this in Overture but its gotten worse for me even with the 11-Dec Update. Hopefully they fix it soon enough. Literally can't play without restarting the game after every round.
Me as well. Your not the only one x.x sucks when im winning and the game crashes on me...c.c Trying to do all the daily orders and tides of war stuff but i keep crashing and freezing after about 2 or 3 matches.
PS4 - After every match it would freeze on the loading screen for the map I just played and would not load the new game with my friends. I had to delete and reinstall the game to fix it. However that being said it still happens but not as often since I did that...

I feel like the game is broken, on Xbox I play one game and it doesn’t load the next game. I have to close the application and open it again to play another game. Really frustrating

The thing that's gonna keep me coming back in the long run is the free tides of war updates, previous titles the added content has a shelf life, that once the next game is out is non existent. The fact that the new maps in 5 are just added to the games default maps hopefully means we'll still get to play them even in the far future
This is when Battlefield is fun. When playing in a squad or with people you know. I usually jump in with a bunch of randoms and they just sit and build for 15 minutes. Usually in the middle of nowhere
My clan and I only play Grand Operations... and when we get to Front Lines on day 3 of Twisted Steel and Day 3 of Rotterdam, it's our absolute favorite. It's also the only mode that can end in a FINAL STAND mode after a tie. Which is freaking amazing.
people tend to forget how strong guns can be. an assault rifle would (depending on the caliber and power of the bullet) go through brick. a larger caliber machine gun like what would be on that tank would turn those bricks into dust.
front-lines works so good in this map..if only game mode were taylor specific for maps..or better if we could make custom playlists where each map rotation will have the best game mode in rotation..like grand ops, front-lines, breakthrough, conquest on same playlist rotation..all 64 players obviously

Hey Jack, I just need some help. All this discussion about changing TTD or TTK has perplexed me. Aren’t they technically the same thing? Just opposite sides of the same coin?
TTK is how long it takes YOU to kill someone. TTD is how long it takes for the server to tell that person they've been killed. The TTD is currently broken which makes it feel like people are killing you way too fast. It's basically making some deaths feel like a "1 shot" when in reality they probably hit you 4-5 times depending on the weapon before you actually died on their screen. I know I've felt the "1 shot" many times and I'm sure the punishment I dish out has felt like a "1 shot" to my foes.
Southpaw Gaming the TTD issue is essentially the server sending all of the info on the damage taken to the recipient’s client in one or two packets, causing them to experience an “instant death” whereas the person shooting at them may have been shooting for a full second or two. It’s why it sometimes feels like everyone you’re fighting against hits perfect consecutive headshots in every fight you’re in. It’s so frustrating (at least on Xbox) that I am probably taking a break from the game till it’s resolved

Just a thought, but what if the sooner you revived a friendly, the quicker they can be revived. So if someone's near death, it takes longer to revive them than someone who just got knocked down.
Well sometimes you can't revive a friendly right away. Sometimes you need to clear enemies or make some cover with smoke to revive them, instead of just reviving them in the open and getting shot. That mechanic would punish people who make sure they're clear to revive someone by taking longer.
Nice tank teamplay. The issue I've found with playing on publics is the driver often fails to account for the front gunner and will leave him pointing away from the action, often just facing a wall.
People are using laser beam too much it's diluted the word. There has only ever been one laser beam in this game and that's the mg34. The closest thing in 2nd place is the Bren gun but still isn't one. And the sturmgewher 1-5 is on the higher recoil spectrum of guns in this game.

How to "nerf" the game properly IMO: If everything's overpowered, nothing is. It would put "skill" down to who is more in tuned with the environment and aware of their surroundings. It would encourage playing smart vs being as accurate as possible, which would still play a significant role in getting the kill.
Players think that they can run and gun a full battalion and a tank and enemy sniper support. It's about the right positioning and flanking from were there not coming from.
What?? The sturmgewehr 1-5 on PC has a considerable vertical recoil when I’m playing. Are you compensating for that in your play, because it surely does look laser beam to me.
This video is a good example why I played BFV for all of 2 hours. I'm watching this in 1440, full screen, on 32" monitor and I can't see anything. Jack is shooting and killing and I'm going "Guess there was an enemy then?"
I wish I had friends to play with who could clearly communicate things to me. I think that is the thing that is truly missing from the BFV for me. That said, I find the Steb 1907 to be the most laserbeam-y of all of the automatic Assault guns, but the Sturm is way more well-rounded.
Its ridiculous that you can repair a tank that quick, and its also ridiculous that other tank shells barely do damage to you. BF really need to fix their tank damage model.
We need a feature in bf games like after the Ticket becomes 0 every player will have a single spawn left if you are killed then no spawn for you it'll be cool if they do that

Ehi Jack, I often find myself needing to shoot an enemy multiple times (each shot registering separately on my screen), while, when I'm being shot at, often I die in one hit regardless of the weapon, even a handgun: or, in other terms, the horrid netcode of BFV "sums up" the damage of multiple bullets in one damage frame, giving the impression of insta-death. I play on PS4, and I swear that this shit didn't happen to me when I played BF3, 4 and 1. Does it happen to you too on PC?

I think he said 400 DPI and 13 in game. I use 800 DPI and 7 in game and I find it a Nice balance of speed and accuracy.

It just feels cheesy when you're running through a hail of bullets to the chest, but walk away victorious because you still had 13 health.
