- At the small town fair in Brooklyn, CT, the country band Lonestar performed a few songs. When they were about to sing their hit song "I'm Already There", this girl stood up and told them that the song reminded them of her dad that she had recently lost. See what happens next. It's a tear-jerker, but they will be happy tears.

I’m crying like a baby! Nine years ago I was lying on a hospital operating table, the doctors told my family there was no hope but they’d keep trying! During my recovery I discovered Lonestar and as soon I heard this song I knew I could recover. I’m walking, learning the guitar and still listening to Lonestar, God bless them they’re amazing

I cried throughout this song cause I remembered my husband and how much my kids missed him , this reminds me of my daughter cause he died when she was 19 years old and my son 23. But they were his babies

I’m sitting here crying like a baby…..my precious Dad will be gone 12 years in February. It’s not easier, just different. I was 48 when he passed, but felt like a little girl who just wanted her Daddy back. I’m 60 now and not a day does by that I don’t want to pick up the phone and talk to him. Mom passed in 2015: but the dementia stole her from us long before her physical body gave out. ☹️

Lost my mom 32 years ago when i was 10 years old. I lost my dad 3 years ago. The pain gets easier to manage most of the time. But I have the same as you. Some songs, some situations still make me think of those two people who loved me so dearly.

I know how she feels. My dad was my hero and my protector. I was heartbroken but that was absolutely sweet of Lone star to confiscate the time to dedicate that song to this young woman.

You could tell Richie and the guys really felt for her! Notice how Richie put a lot more punch into the last few lines than he usually does? That tells me he was dedicated to making her feel better. And by "adding punch to the last few lines." I mean, he put a lot more energy behind them than I have seen him do in other live performances.
