When I was young my girlfriends and I would sing to the radio...even in the winter!! Roll the windows down and sing...pretend it was summer. And it always was a fun time. James' carpool brings me back to those happy times...and I had so few happy times when a kid and even now. But, we can always have the old ones on UA-cam I guess. ❤❤
I think Carpool Karaoke has to be one of the best ideas anyone ever came up with. To see the best of the best singers and to not just see them as mere celebrities but as real people. Having Adele as the final singer was the perfect send-off.

I don't think James Corden ever gets credit for what a great singer he is. He's nearly flawless singing every song on every Carpool Karaoke. And the two of them sining "Don't Rain on My Parade" was stunning.
Adele is the purest example of how fame doesn’t have to compromise the essence of the soul. Finishing it with my favorite song “Hometown Glory”, was the cherry on top of the cake.
I have the fondest memory of hearing Hometown Glory for the very first time. It contains a cafe in a Northern Irish town during an overseas practicum. I was so enthralled by the song I immediately got up and asked the staff what the name of the song was. Magic.
And James Corden is the exact opposite and is the reason why his show gets cancelled. There was a time when people loved him but now he has shown is true colours and it is difficult to see him as this light hearted fun character with a great sense of humour and singing voice. Instead people see the evil narcissistic diva who have lost contact with reality and living in the clouds and treating people badly. For this reason his public persona and show do not work any longer, his public image have been poisoned and destroyed and he is therefore taken off the air!
The way James was honest on saying that celebrities declined his offers and now I have so much more respect for Adele cause she came and became a friend than a celebrity for James. I’m happy it was her to be his guest cause they really click and it’s everything that the final carpool needs. All the emotions is just.. perfect.
I listened to her all the time in my car. Every time my husband would get in it to drive, Adele would be on. In the beginning,he would always make a snide comment. As time went on, I didn't hear as much grumbling When her last album dropped, he got it for me as a surprise. We were traveling to see his parents, and the cd player switched on, and BAM - Adele He finally admitted. He is a closet Adele fan..😂 I finally wore him down..lol
Watching this after Munich, seeing what songs she picked for her setup and seeing what she picked here, there is a clear parallel. It really puts it into perspective, seeing her connections and the experiences driving her to those songs... amazing. Honestly the best performer and artist.
The reason her fans love her isn’t just her voice which is a once in a generation incredible talent, it’s her humanity. She doesn’t hide her struggles or her real emotions, she is just so genuine. She is just honest and doesn’t hide behind some celebrity mask like so many stars do. She is someone you would just love to have as a friend or a next door neighbor.

This episode was so emotional, I loved that James was the one being interviewed, and it was nice to hear a bit about the hardships of the show and how they overcame it. I think most people are aware that George Michael did the first skit of what eventually became Carpool Karaoke, but they did that specifically for charity and it wasn't specifically carpool karaoke at that point. What carpool karaoke became and it becoming a permanent fixture stemmed from Mariah's agreement and involvement. Whilst the idea of carpool karaoke was inspired by the George Michael skit, it became a thing because Mariah agreed to do it

Im so thankful I got to live through this time of tv shows before streaming really really took over, so thankful for talk show hosts who took their time out to do what they did. WHAT AN ERA, Nothing and no one is perfect and I appreciate that James and Adele contributed to our lives and our homes and the entiertainment in so many ways . I appreciate Ellen, I Miss DJ TWITCH, I miss Wendy , I miss so many days when I was younger and was carefree and watched these funny segments of shows on Here. I miss Trevor Noah. I miss it all. But WHAT A TIME TO BE TRULY ALIVE.

That`s why we all instinctively use real life pain to create our art. it's not something we have to be taught. we just simply do it from the beginning. the first play I ever wrote (I WAS 9 LOL) was about how my mom gets really scary and, is mean to me, my dad and my brothers every month for like four- or five-days and.... none of us knew why. I’m 6 years sober from shooting up heroin, and watching carpool karaoke and the late late show literally got me through my first 2 years of sobriety. Any time I was feeling down or depressed or craving I would just search up the James Corden and the late late show and watch all of the videos for hours. Adele’s music also helped me through my dark times and I absolutely adore Adele and all of her music. I just now found out that James is done with the late late show and this is breaking my heart I’m crying 😭 thank you for all of the laughs and for getting me through my darkest period and to a brighter side with a smile on my face ❤️❤️❤️

James Corden was actually a part of Adele's rise to superstardom in the UK. Watch her sing Someone Like You at the Brits (it's on UA-cam) and you'll see he introduced her performance and also delivered a memorable line afterwards ("You can have all the dancers, pyrotechnics, laser shows you want but if you sound like that, all you need is a piano"). This performance put that song to number 1 in the UK and obviously her career has gone from strength to strength.

I have the fondest memory of hearing Hometown Glory for the very first time. It contains a cafe in a Northern Irish town during an overseas practicum. I was so enthralled by the song I immediately got up and asked the staff what the name of the song was. Magic.
And James Corden is the exact opposite and is the reason why his show gets cancelled. There was a time when people loved him but now he has shown is true colours and it is difficult to see him as this light hearted fun character with a great sense of humour and singing voice. Instead people see the evil narcissistic diva who have lost contact with reality and living in the clouds and treating people badly. For this reason his public persona and show do not work any longer, his public image have been poisoned and destroyed and he is therefore taken off the air!

Adele's voice is just unreal. That vocal range is crazy. The fact that she wrote a verse about Cordens' feelings during a moment of his life is heartwarming. That end made me cry. Hope Corden has the best last week he could ask for.

I think most people are aware that George Michael did the first skit of what eventually became Carpool Karaoke, but they did that specifically for charity and it wasn't specifically carpool karaoke at that point. What carpool karaoke became and it becoming a permanent fixture stemmed from Mariah's agreement and involvement.
Whilst the idea of carpool karaoke was inspired by the George Michael skit, it became a thing because Mariah agreed to do it

About to graduate with my LLB degree, it takes 5 years here, This show's segments got me through University, all 5 years of it, as well segments of Ellen, The View, The real, Wendy Williams, The Talk, Like these shows, really kept me distracted from my anxiety, my depression. I got vareity of content and commentary for laughter and thoughts. Im so thankful I got to live through this time of tv shows before streaming really really took over, so thankful for talk show hosts who took their time out to do what they did. WHAT AN ERA, Nothing and no one is perfect and I appreciate that James and Adele contributed to our lives and our homes and the entiertainment in so many ways . I appreciate Ellen, I Miss DJ TWITCH, I miss Wendy , I miss so many days when I was younger and was carefree and watched these funny segments of shows on Here. I miss Trevor Noah. I miss it all. But WHAT A TIME TO BE TRULY ALIVE.

That`s why we all instinctively use real life pain to create our art. it's not something we have to be taught. we just simply do it from the beginning. the first play I ever wrote (I WAS 9 LOL) was about how my mom gets really scary and, is mean to me, my dad and my brothers every month for like four- or five-days and.... none of us knew why. LMAO🤣 IT WAS LIKE A DARK COMEDY / HORROR FILM!!! 😂🤣😂 My dad read it and thought it was SOOO funny! my mom actually thought it was cute but, she found it very worrying that her sons were SO scared of her!! I’m 6 years sober from shooting up heroin, and watching carpool karaoke and the late late show literally got me through my first 2 years of sobriety. Any time I was feeling down or depressed or craving I would just search up the James Corden and the late late show and watch all of the videos for hours. Adele’s music also helped me through my dark times and I absolutely adore Adele and all of her music. I just now found out that James is done with the late late show and this is breaking my heart I’m crying 😭 thank you for all of the laughs and for getting me through my darkest period and to a brighter side with a smile on my face ❤️❤️❤️

James Corden was actually a part of Adele's rise to superstardom in the UK. Watch her sing Someone Like You at the Brits (it's on UA-cam) and you'll see he introduced her performance and also delivered a memorable line afterwards ("You can have all the dancers, pyrotechnics, laser shows you want but if you sound like that, all you need is a piano"). This performance put that song to number 1 in the UK and obviously her career has gone from strength to strength.
What a beautiful finale to his carpool karaoke. There friendship is so pure and real. I laughed and had tears watching this. Adele’s final comment saying she’s not ready to come home but if she was it would be with James and his family was just truly beautiful and heartfelt. Hi, I am African, from Botswana. About to graduate with my LLB degree, it takes 5 years here, This show's segments got me through University, all 5 years of it, as well segments of Ellen, The View, The real, Wendy Williams, The Talk, Like these shows, really kept me distracted from my anxiety, my depression. I got vareity of content and commentary for laughter and thoughts. Im so thankful I got to live through this time of tv shows before streaming really really took over, so thankful for talk show hosts who took their time out to do what they did. WHAT AN ERA, Nothing and no one is perfect and I appreciate that James and Adele contributed to our lives and our homes and the entiertainment in so many ways . I appreciate Ellen, I Miss DJ TWITCH, I miss Wendy , I miss so many days when I was younger and was carefree and watched these funny segments of shows on Here. I miss Trevor Noah. I miss it all. But WHAT A TIME TO BE TRULY ALIVE.

15 years and she’s strong as ever. That 5 year hiatus did her wonders, almost like she’s an entirely new artist. I hope she continues to make such good music, lovely to see her in her element! 💚

Adele and James are obviously the best of friends and that in itself goes to show you how a woman and a man can be friends without any romance or sexual attraction. I say BRAVO to this and adore the fact that they truly love one another. Two beautiful people both inside and out!
