esther njeri that's the thing that I like about them. I never heard they made 'troubles' /bad attitude-lifestyle despite of their fame. Their fame didn't make them 'lost'. The lads only concern about Westlife & become a good ambassador for their country. Irish should be proud having them :) Now even they split up, I'm happy knowing that Nicky, Shane, Kian are happy with their family now. They have adorable kids. And I hope Marky will find his soulmate soon :)

I believe that one of the reasons for the long time success of Westlife as a boyband is due to the members strong Faith in the Divine God Father Almighty which was highlighted by their song: You Raise Me Up! Other music superstars in their rise to stardom got into drug abuse, liquor addiction, cigarette habits, troubled marital lives, destructive pride, etc. Somehow West Life survived Music World fame. Let us all thank God for giving the world a music hero and a Spiritual inspiration. Namaste.

I love westlife. No one can replaced you westlife is legend.
And when boy/girlgroups were gone in America, Westlife tried & radio bosses loved them but they couldnt play them on radio because hiphop/rap/rnb dominated. Westlife's fan base is also in every corner of the globe, Americans may not hear their music on the radio but they still have many American fans who buy imported cds.When MTV USA created a best boyband competition that had 12 million votes from around the world, BSB (and Nsync) lost in the 1st round. Westlife won 74% of the final vote

Which song is memorable? For people who heard of Westlife, it's most of their hits. Their not like Bsb who only have 1 #1 hit. That's why u see a lot of people who say they're reminded of their childhood when they hear a Westlife song, people still hear westlife songs on the radio until now, westlife songs are commonly sang in karaoke, even my 53 yr old dad had sung westlife songs on karaoke. Westlife songs are used in weddings, funerals, and english books-you can't say that with any bsb song.

Last time bsb was in the charts was in 2005 &before that,in 2001 while westlife were in top 10 every year from start to finish.Bsb dont even have a record label since their label shut down.Other acts were transfered to other labels while bsb were not.They've been an indie band for years while Westlife were offered 5million new contract so they wont split but they turned it down.After they split,biggest record labels fought over Shane&Paul McCartney's(The Beatles)manager became Mark's new manager
