Thanks Talkerbot! I'm glad I finally got to it. Being able to watch your progress with playing and videos as we started roughly the same time was a very cool and a big motivation for me to also be putting out commentary as a new player.
Congrats on the clear and also your first commentary video! I was also inspired by the same people to try my hand at this stuff. I'd lower the background music and sfx volume somewhat to make it easier to listen to your commentary, but this can be a preference thing :)

Your not the only one who mentioned the audio haha I had so many audio issues from start to finish I was just happy to get it done. I'm going to work on that. I do love the music in these games so I definitely want it to shine where it can, but yeah listenability is important.
Congrats! Aleste is one of my favorite games as it's flow and relentless pace is almost zen. Very intrresting seeing how you approached it. A no slowdown clear is hella fun if you still want to chew on the game. Look forward to seeing what you'll clear next!
Thank you! I am messing with a no-slowdown playthrough via MiSTer and the M2 collection -- it's wild!! I watched your Aleste 1CC last night and felt the same -- cool to see a different approach. Your channel looks like a real treasure trove I'm going to be mining a lot:) Zanac, Abadox, and other NES shooters grabbed my interest so I'm psyched to see some high-level play.
This was a breath of fresh air to listen to, man! Solid run and great times in general. It would be stellar to get more commentary videos from you at some point.
