As a senior who has travel all over the world I agree with everything in this video except the wall plug. I prefer using a small power strip with both electrical and USB. I use the table beside the bed for my changing so having a strip on the table with a cord to the wall plug is more practical. They come in all sizes. Look for one that is flat (not cube) and not too big. Your videos are very informative. Thanks for doing them.
this is one of the best videos I’ve ever seen on travel essentials. I think I saw about 8 items that I never even thought of. I like the puffer jacket. And you did a great job on explaining everything and why. Thank you. I saved you as one of my favorites.
That’s good to know. I wasn’t sure of their quality. I usually stick to well known suitcase brands because I’ve had a few cheaper brand suitcases break on me during my travels. Not worth the hassle and stress. 😅
Only bad thing is that Amazon Basics are normally knockoffs of their best selling items in specific categories, i dont care if they knockoff bigger companies but they have knocked off smaller companies like Peak Designs
Thank you! Here are a few tips, medication does not count as liquids and doesn't need to be taking out during security check. You can leave it in your luggage. Bring snacks to keep hunger at bay. Bring an empty refillable water bottle that you can fill after passing security, it will save you from buying expensive water bottles at airport. Bring peppermint gum, it helps fight nausea and it helps unblock your ears on take off and landing. Hope that helps!
Disposable razors, replacement blades, and electric razors can go in either your carry-on or checked baggage; if you have a safety or straight razor, you can pack it in your carry-on - but you must remove the blades first and pack them in one of your checked bags.
Yes i do it all the time. However, I usually don’t pack the blanket, neck pillow and headphones if i am taking a flight that is less than 6-7 hours long or if I’m not sleeping on the plane.
I was a creative director for the company and then my boss and I opened a new company together and I started going to Asia to buy products for the company and then ended up doing that almost full time. The rest is history 😅

Thank you…great advice
Glad it was helpful!
I’ve had the same suitcase, my whole life, and it is totally fine. The wheels never stick and just practically glides through the airport.😂
Spray wrinkle release and use a blow dryer…works great
Very cool! Thanks for sharing!
I have taken ~75 trips in the past 5 years with the Amazon basics brand carry on, and it's still going strong!

Cool options i am going to get some new travel cubes with compression. My first set of cubes are looking ragged.
I replace them pretty often too because of all my travels 😅
PSA on the squeeze bottles from Target as well as their travel bottles - THEY LEAK. Spend a little more and get actual leakproof

The hiking backpack is not the same bag. Can you provide the correct link?
That backpack is from MEC. I do not have a link for it is no longer available. That is why I provided an alternative. Sorry about that.
Loved it! Where is your shirt from?
Thanks! My t-shirt is from H&M.
13:26 blades allowed in-cabin?
What about straight razors for men?
Disposable razors, replacement blades, and electric razors can go in either your carry-on or checked baggage; if you have a safety or straight razor, you can pack it in your carry-on - but you must remove the blades first and pack them in one of your checked bags.
Where bought and what brand your small backpack?
My small backpack comes from MEC but I put similar one from Amazon. The link can be found in my description box below the video. Hope that helps!
wow
Are you able to take all of that in a carry-on only plus clothes?
Yes i do it all the time. However, I usually don’t pack the blanket, neck pillow and headphones if i am taking a flight that is less than 6-7 hours long or if I’m not sleeping on the plane.
@@AlexgoesCoconuts Impressive!! 🤗 👏🏼

On Canadian airlines if you are over weight you ha to unpack the extra weight
That is right! It has happened to me in the past. Don't want to do that again. That is why I always weigh my luggage now
How do you get a job as a buyer?
I was a creative director for the company and then my boss and I opened a new company together and I started going to Asia to buy products for the company and then ended up doing that almost full time. The rest is history 😅
