Installed mine yesterday on my 2022 C8. Easy to do if you have any mechanical ability. Take your time and have above video handy to guide you along the way. MY car on has 380 miles and already has some minor dings in coils.
I got a set of the C8 grill guards and installed them which is great because I don't have the most mechanical skills. The grills fit great and cover the areas Required.
Don’t forget to make center smaller inner grills. I originally didn’t put those on my C8, and my radiators got beat up on the inner lower corners pretty bad, I wound up added the small inner grills.
To be clear, it’s the 7mm screw that is hidden. I spent time looking for a hidden t15. Also, you need a “t15 bit” not a “t15 socket”. If this has all already been mentioned, so be it. More later as I finish this if there are any discrepancies.
Best grill guards I've seen so far, but they better be given they are the priciest. Not sure they protect any better than some of the less expensive options.
i'm going to mount mine between bezel and grill...move the nut clip and replace the screws from the front.....may werk / may not ....ps-on my 2020 i bought some expanded metal , cut it to fit , painted and installed...they are still invisible and working after 54k
I'll also add what about the section inside the grill opening where your protecters are installed, that area is wide open for rock damage to the radiator ?
I'll have to search a little bit more again but there was a couple companies offering screens for every opening where something could get damaged including the condenser Robert mentioned with out a screen. Paul Codi mentioned this on his reply below.
I like these guards you guys put out, but I'd like to understand why the price is 2x that of your competitors? I can understand some increase given the quality and attention to detail, but a more than 2x increase over competitors feels prohibitive. For that price, I'd also like to see air flow restrictions or temperature differences vs competitors.
Due to the CNC nature of these with the custom grill pattern which matches the OEM pattern, and also the bolt in OEM style the cost just goes up unfortunately. Custom tooling was made to make these and there is just higher cost in creating something like this that doesn't use zip ties and look cheesy. :(
@@ParagonPerformanceplease have an owner reach out to me about my Grill Guards. By the way, I purchased the clear engine cover for my C8, so for it looks great and has not created any heat issues.
@@curiousgeorge7386 Hi George, what can we help you with about your guards? - Justin You can also reach out to support@paragonperf.com for customer service.
You’re paying for development cost. We sell silencers. People say “that’s just a chunk of metal”. Well, ya, and if they only sell 10,000 of those chunks of metal it all had to go into the development and prototyping and those “living wages”. Paragon likely won’t sell 100mm of these so sourcing from China or Temu might not be an option. It’s not always just about the metal cost. Huge consumer misconception. Like buying bottled water. You’re not paying for the water. $299 is still high imo. But I bought them and am installing. $299 on a $100k car? Sure. I can swing that. Wait til you buy the $1600 tires. It’s just rubber, right?
Too much! My Grill Guards are $80 plus postage. There are four to cover the front and one for each side vent, they’re made out of Fiberglass and Teflon and you don’t have to take the car all apart.
Other brands are generic chicken wire from the hardware store where you ziptie it on. Ours are custom made to specifically fit the C8 Corvette with OEM mounting locations.
I would go crazy listening g to this music during the install!

did you have to lift the car? Could I do it with just a jack?
@@michael3958I have a four post car lift. It was easier to install.

Nice product but price may be a little high. Nice install video.
I agree I paid $89 I like paragon better but not that much . I did purchase there exhaust waiting for delivery.
better than house gutter guards fo shure
where's that side intake vent grill install video
It's on the media team's to do list! Subscribe to be notified when the video is live! 😀
This should be a factory installed option !?!
We agree!
Is there any issues installing these on the C8 Convertible vs the coupe?
Nope exactly the same process.
How much do they cost?
299 USD which is very expensive, way overpriced!
Yeah, they missed it on price!!

I've seen these anywhere from $100 - $500 on various websites.

I wished you guys will add audio instructions instead of the mu!!!😡
Was I the only one that saw the scratch in the paint on the left?
Way over priced compared to others. Installation is a lot more complicated then competitors.
The competition uses zip ties. This is a lot better
Zip ties are pretty strong....and practically hidden..just saying
