Sir Alistair Hammerlock and Wainwright Jakobs request the pleasure of your company in the second campaign add-on for Borderlands 3. A couple of familiar faces will be among the guests at the betrothed partners' engagement celebration: former Vault Hunter Gaige is moonlighting as a wedding planner, joined as always by her badass robot BFF Deathtrap. Pay no attention to the gargantuan monster's corpse nearby; this party's going to be legendary!

I had more emotional investment in this 1 hour dlc than I did the entire main story. For one thing I actually liked the villains.
The biggest plot twist was that the lodge owner wasn't evil.
And the fact that the pearl was real
You have no idea how happy I was to find out Claptrap successfully got it and come back whilst having his own adventure...Also it was very sweet of him to give it to us... Also I had the same reaction to Mancubus, honestly the eldritch freak's grew on me... I like him.
mancubus is what we called don't judge a book by it cover or texts.

Hammerlock is my favourite character!!! I was so happy to see this DLC!!!

This is the reason why I love the borderlands games
One: it has a comic style
Two: they have unique characters
Three: the crew who made borderlands are totally LGBTQ supporters!
And four: it takes places in a posed apocalyptic world and I love that

They don't really peg me as supporters but rather realists, you ARE going to meet someone who fancies the same sex and they are going to be people like any other... Unless you mean they represent gay characters in a more realistic and respectable light, in which case I totally agree with you.
Though it doesn't take place in a post apocalyptic planet...you just run into some real shitty situations.

Me, my brother and my parents were invited to our neighbor's son's wedding, and we only like played Army of Two once, I otherwise barely knew they guy. Still, can't really complain. @@hays4475 Have many other things to play, gotten bored of it after I went through it on Mayhem 4 and I don't support anything dealing with homosexuality. While I don't mind the realism in the fact that some people are gay and adding it to a story can make it interesting or add to a plot, as far as paying for anything that condone it, I won't.

@Ayden Phoenix I wouldn't even have had an issue with this if that wasn't the main focus of the dlc. I'd be unrealistic to say in borderlands that they didn't have hay people in it which one mission was with a lesbian couple which surprised me that they even had it in the game but I looked over it because it was a short mission, nothing to it but that is just plain disturbing and to not be able to skip cutscenes, not happening. Besides that game is getting more repetitive than Monster Hunter and I like Monster Hunter.
Sucks to be you then, there's some good weapons and skins in it... Besides, let's be honest. This is STILL better than the way Hollywood typically handles gay characters.

Old Liquid I completely understand what you’re saying and don’t mean to sound offensive but as a person who played borderlands 1 and 2 I just feel they are pushing far more towards gay people playing their game where as I wish they would just push back towards being known for crazy humor and crazy guns, if they want minor representation I can understand but now there is just an entire dlc pushing it in peoples faces
scamanderous the guns and very little of the iconic humor still remain in the game that is true but for past entries in the series they would not draw so much attention to their lgbt views, now in borderlands 3 there is an entire dlc with just about all the characters being gay in some way, like in 2 hammerlock was simply gay and you could understand that and that’s totally fine, but now you can’t walk five steps without someone going on about how gay they are, to me the series now just feels like a cash grab for gay people to call it “brave”

The fact that Claptrap wants to find the pearl so badly that he literally does the impossible becomes even more tear jerking when you know just how much he cares for Hammerlock and wants him to be happy.
Now we wait for the dlc where they adopt a child together.
I really can't imagine these two having a kid. Hammerlock doesn't peg me as a settle down and raise children sort and I feel like Wainwright wouldn't have the patience for one...though he did work with Tina so...Who knows.

@final vakyrie 99 I'd say I love her personality, wacky ya know. Plus her voice actor voices some of my all time favorite characters, and I like her backstory. I'd say those are the reasons people like her, and most people that enjoy her, main her which kinda makes you like her more if you played her a ton.

This DLC was so goood, I'm so glad I found a video that doesn't just show the "normal" cutscenes but the extra dialogue, too! I am sad I already finished the DLC so I want to at least re-watch all the good stuff

I would like to know how the hell did Claptrap get that damn Pearl. Maybe an extra DLC for that quest...but you only play as Claptrap. Anyone else want in on it?

How did he get it? An awesome epic quest that we get to hear bits and pieces through the DLC. Hammerlock and everyone might hate Claptrap, but besides the new vault hunters and Wedding Planner he was the only one who bothered to come to the wedding. Then again, maybe he entered the game of Bunkers of Badass and that was actually him as the wizard in the BL2 DLC...

Aaron Giroux from the looks of it their build requires them to take health damage to boost damage, so they are using a low level shield to take health damage faster

Well, I mean Hammerlock was confirmed gay since BL2 in 2012, that's nothing new. And I don't know why you think they were forced because I highly doubt that, seriously though, imagine complaining about a character's sexuality in a game, that's the real 'WTF' right there.
