- I was lucky enough to find out about a Glasair 3 Twin Turbo that was located in Country Victoria and may be for sale. After visiting the farm where it was located I came to a deal with Greg to buy his Glasair 3 project. The only catch was I had to transport it home. During the video we show you how we dismantled the aircraft for transport. We all had a lot of fun and I am looking forward to showing more videos of the build etc.
Helluva project…..
Just purchased a Glasair 3 project for myself, can't wait to see more content!
Awesome. Where are you located?
@@willbrown9 California, USA!
Good watch mate, as someone that loves aviation and mechanics you’ve got all my bases covered, looking forward to following the build as it progresses… keep it up will…
Nice little project. It is interesting to see the progress. Back in 1990 or 1991. What year. They held the very first Pillion race in Tasmania. They call it the Redbull Air race. Today.
Why I mention this, My father and 7 of his mates flew 4 Skyfox ultralights. From Caloundra Airport to Tasmania.
They were the first ultralights to fly the Bass Strait to Tasmania in one go.
They had to get special permission to fly at 15thousand feet
The successfully completed the journey there and back. Not one incident.
Part of Australian aviation history that not many know about.
Good luck this year, Broski
Erebus cars look awesome and sound great. And it's awesome to watch on Tv.
Cheers Troy
Is that a Pitts Special in the background?
Engine must be pretty light (< 1/2 Ton on the lifter)
I don’t think we bothered checking that 🤣
Started flying in 1968, don't fly anymore due to health issues but they sure do have some nice high performance aircraft around these days like your Glasair. Looking forward to future videos of the build Will.
Great video, looks like a nice project
Great to meet you at dinner with Mark in Newcastle last week.
Great work will. It was entertaining I am a subscriber
Great video Will. Keen to see more 😁
Very cool to see. Never watched a plane come apart. @ around 6.20 "what's it gonna break?" - "Nothing serious" too funny
Was this the Baker Racer?
This is awesome - will be closely following your progress!!!
Massive project. Hope you have a good engineer to sign off the work!
Looking forward to this project.
Do you fly on the left side of the sky in Australia ?here in the USA we fly on the right side
We all need a mate like Graham
Do you know these are now made in Australia?
Nice work
Hey Will, found you from your Face Book page. So interesting to see what you do away from the racetrack! Great to see Jack as well. Looking forward to seeing this project come along 🛩 Cheers buddy 😀
Awesome idea, can't wait for future content mate 👏
Very interesting. Would be cool to see more of the rebuild when it happens.
I will be sure to do a lot more episodes. Was my first time filming so hopefully we can get that better as well.
Can't wait to see how this comes out ☺️
You should put a Supercars engine in it.
It’s easy to say “It’s a fun project” when you’re behind the camera lol😂
Hahahaha this is very true 🤣
