    Here you go again m8: @GreentopLandscapes I only left half an inch gap between the house and the slabs, then pointed. About 10 cm below the damp course. There is no ponding, but at times the bricks up to the damp course appear damp, but not any above the damp course. Does this all sound okay and correct? Thanks 👍

      Ok.. the camp course is doing its job then what I tend to do is to leave a 50mm gap but I back fill with pebbles to let the water run down

      @@GreentopLandscapes Hi Johnnyboy, thanks for the info. If it ever became a problem, would it be work chasing out a gap in the mortar between the slabs and the house? If so, how did would you go down? Thanks for any help 👍

      You need to create a void and back fill approximately 100mm deep and use pea gravel

      @@GreentopLandscapes grand... If water isn't rising above the damp course is it worth leaving it alone? PS your videos are inspirational 😁

    • @GreentopLandscapes
      @GreentopLandscapes  3 роки тому

      Yes, definitely at this height I think its a legal requirement to mechanically fix
