Static Fire Week for Starship Booster 7 and Ship 24 at SpaceX Starbase | Road to Mars Cinema 8k
Вставка
- Опубліковано 21 сер 2022
- Filmed during an exciting week of static fire testing at SpaceX Starbase, a new addition to The Road to Mars Cinema Archive. Headphones on! In this video, we see and hear Starship Super Heavy Booster 7 conduct two separate single raptor engine tests, including the first 20-second long-duration static fire on the orbital launchpad. Ship 24 is also filmed in highspeed conducting a two-engine test as it prepares for eventual stacking and orbital flight. Incredible audio capture throughout by the Cosmic Perspective's team Andrew Keating. We're designing an audio experience page for our website to explore the often-overlooked amazing sounds of spaceflight in more detail.

WOW! Another beauty there Ryan/MaryLiz & Co. Speechless.
Amazing stuff! Not only is it visually stunning, the audio is fantastic as well. Great job!
Hello
When you think of the word "visionary" ...how can THAT not be THIS? .and the productions values of the video itself are hitting on every cylinder.
What ?
Never watched one of your videos without being rendered speechless - simply stunning audio and visual images . Thank you.
❤️🔥 thanks ! really appreciate the comment
@@CosmicPerspective musical credit?
No one, and I mean no one, is poetically capturing these beautiful moments in history and serving the space enthusiast community the way that you guys are. Truly where art, science, and wonder collide. Thank you Cosmic Perspective!
Amazing sound cannot imagine with all 33 engines
Oof that would be deafening but cool though
I just love the dramatic screech the engines make when they are shut down!
The highest quality footage AND sound of anyone recording this epic journey. #cinemawithsoul
Absolutely incredible... A program as amazing as this needs to be cinematic!
Wow! This is amazing the highspeed footage is incredible
Thanks zack!
Thanks for documenting history in the making!!! ❤️🚀
Let's just hope the commies don't ruin everything.
🤔🤔
Oh that's beautiful 😇
Every frame a portrait! Absolutely awestrikingly gorgeoous.
Thanks for making this.
The pure sound of just one engine is breathtaking
Sweet video!!
Thanks!
Why do I love space exploration? I was in NASA camp as a kid in Houston. I have seen multiple shuttles launched (in person) from Cape Canaveral. But the biggest reason? Imagination!! The places we can go...first we crawled..than we walked. And now? Now we can FLY!!! ♡♡♡☆☆☆!!!
Ryan, Andrew and everyone else who contributed...thank you!! What a beautiful contribution!
Thank you Jana!
Beautiful work! Top-notch cinematic archival.
Beautiful Film! Incredible Quality as always!
I LOVE the sound of Raptor's Honking in the mourning ! ; ) and there were some pretty good Screen Shots to be had as well. Nicely Done !
I don't know how you capture the beauty in every shot, but you never fail to amaze.
THANK YOU! FREAKING epic!!!
Your stuff is such insanely high quality! Keep up the great work!
Purely fantastic and just fantastically superb cinematic quality - my jaw is still on the floor.
Get the highest quality screen you have out and turn up that sound. Just is as close an experience to being there as you can get online. Just wow on that quality.
Wow, really nice shots, editing, and mixing. Aaaaaand Subscribed.
Thank you for keeping the dream alive!!!
Incredible footage. The honk at the end puts my teeth on edge 😬
Aaaaweeesome! Thank you for your great work!
Imagine if official NASA coverage tried to look like this instead of doing celebrity cameos.
Amazing work!
Thanks for watching!
That satisfying honk of the raptor engine shutdown gets me every time.
🦖💨
This is just…stunning. There are no other words for it
Thanks!
Beautiful work.
WOW "The Road to Mars" is going to be an amazing piece of work. Breaking my internet though..

Hey this should be a series, since we're getting multiple static fires😏 Great shots and audio though👌🏼😌
Wow! Beautiful and truly awesome. I can't imagine what the full stack will truly look/sound like!
Thanks! We can't wait to listen to a full starship flight
@@CosmicPerspective I am a bit worried that it will wreck *everything* in sight and turn all and sundry into noodles. XD It is SO massively energetic that all bets are off the table. *grabs optimistic popcorn*
that 20 second static fire was gorgeous
Didn't know Rocket ASMR was a thing.. Until I watched this! 🚀🚀
This is a work of art. Cheers from Spain 🍻
wow, i'm speechless. Thank you for sharing this!
Amazing footage as always! 🤟 thank you for a great start to the week
Stunning! ✨
Once again, truly beautiful! Everything
Always love your videos and composition. Feels like I'm watching a movie rather than just a livestream.
Astounding! Your vision and creativity are far superior when compared to that of most mere mortals. I anxiously await your next video. Would you please list all of your equipment, including sound gear? And would you explain how you eliminate the typical sound distortion in the slow motion video?
First off, thanks! really appreciate the feedback and we're always working to get stuff out faster. We have a lot of room to improve here. Good news, We have a bunch of behind-the-scenes and interviews filmed about audio capture and how we are getting ready for orbital flight too. All that will be in the next Road To Mars Episode. Can't wait to share it!
@@CosmicPerspective Thank you so much for the quick reply, but especially you have my heartfelt thanks for your excellent work of documenting this fundamentally societal changing moment.
Typically during a slo-mo you don't hear the captured sound, but another sound mixed in.
Fantastic!
Thank you! Cheers!
Wow! I would like to see it in a movie theatre sometime!!!!
Great video!

Beautiful shots and sounds…
This is the first video I’ve ever seen from you, came here from Matt Lowne, but let me tell you; it’s not often I subscribe after seeing just one video.
Thank you! Glad you are here
Inject this right into my eyeballs!
Outstanding with a beautiful cinematic outlook. Always look forward to viewing your videos.
Amazing video 😀🚀🚀
I get goosebumps just thinking about what kind of production you will create of the first Starship/Superheavy orbital launch
Beautiful shots
Stunning.

Thanks. It's an amazing time to be alive!
beautifully shot, man those raptors sound almost alive!
Beautiful work 👏👍

Ребята! Я кулачки держу, чтобы полёты быстрее начились! 🤝
WOW.... Just wow
again WOW! Like your work 👍
That! Now that was just simply super awesome and the sound felt like a real deal! Amazing work!
Loved this so much!
The sound when the engine throttles off...that quick guttural tone. I think that's the atmosphere closing back in on itself. It's could also be a nasty shudder caused by an unexpected resonance. I wish I knew what it was after hearing it.
That's the raptor honk everybody knows
Thank you, SpaceX, for killing every mosquito within a 400-yard radius!! 👍
After recent rains here its gonna take a lot more fire to clear them out 🔥🔥🔥
@@CosmicPerspective Perhaps all this time we were led to believe it's all about going to Mars. When it's really mosquito control.🙄
Outstanding
Freaking amazing.
Old man Navy gunners mate. Back in the
day I had a Canon Ae -1 and got stills like
your videos - only they were stills and nothing
moved.
Awesome work. 😎
