Wow friend very happy and beautiful I love ❤️ synhoniums that’s one of my favorites thanks 🙏 for sharing your vedio stay safe and healthy have a great day
I found your video because I'm looking for inspiration and courage, lots of courage, to cut my syngonium albo. I made a cut already. It hurt my heart because I don't want it to fail. I'm going to try putting some of my cuttings in water and some in sphagnum moss just to see which method works better for me. PLEASE post update videos on this.
It’s always a risk for sure! You can watch my recent giveaway / Hoya potting video; I did a quick update on the syngonium cuttings at the end. But I am happy to report that the roots are as happy as can be! They’ve grown at least an inch longer since that update. They have some direct sun for a few hours a day. But no more than that especially if you have lots of white on the leaves. It will take about a week to see fresh root growth, give or take. Good luck!!
I want an Albo Syngonium so badlyyyy! But it’s cold now so I have to wait til Spring. Enough time to save for one 🤣 great video, thanks for the info, I have multiple varieties that I want to propagate as well! Love these plants!
Hello from Wellington, capital city of NZ :) Love your voice and of course your video content too! One day I might be able to buy one of these beautiful baby! 🌱💚
Hi!!😃 Thank you for your great video!!🤩🤩 Put my 2 Albo cuttings in water whit k-l-n root concentration two weeks ago 🤞🤞🤞 The air roots are growing, but not roots!! Now....I'm not sure, what root is actually what,if they need more time in water or if i need to pot them in soil!!!🤔🤔🤔 Is there a way to find out if it is air roots or roots???!!!!!👀 Aaand, can i plant them whit air roots??!!! Looking forward to your next video 🤩
Hi there! In essence, aerial roots are roots that just grow “above the ground”. Aerial roots in the wild will grab onto vertical surfaces like tree trunks. Sometimes they are so long that they reach the ground where they start expanding into regular roots. As long as the roots are growing (aerial roots or regular roots), your plant is healthy. You can definitely plant aerial roots in soil once they are at least a few inches in length. Hope this helps! Let me know if you are still confused lol.
awesome I have the same situation with some green leaves at the top and was looking for a video like that. Thanks! I have one cutting in water for 4 weeks now and nothing much is happening... I will add some root juice and hope for the best.
I’m glad you found the video helpful! Some cuttings can be very stubborn. The only thing I can suggest is maybe try putting the water propagation in a baggie to trap humidity and definitely add some root juice. Keep it in a sunny spot; a couple hours of direct sun is okay, as the extra energy will help force some growth. If the cup is clear, try using a dark cup or vice versa. Four weeks sounds like a really long time, so it wouldn’t hurt to switch some things up a bit, but as long as you’re not seeing any signs of rot. Good luck!
Here is the Amazon link: amzn.to/3iNXOLn It’s glazed on the inside so I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are comfortable with making your own fast draining soil. I end up watering every 1.5-2 weeks because it takes a little while longer for the soil to dry compared to my terracotta/unglazed pots. But it is a very pretty pot! ☺️
It all depends on the stem/node if it still has some variegated DNA left in it. If not, then it will most likely grow all green. I’ve grown all-green plants from reverted cuttings, so I know the variegation can be lost forever. Take a look at the stem-can you see any streaking/variegation? If so, there is a chance the node can still push out some variegation!
Oh no! 🥺 If I were you, I’d contact the seller for some compensation cuz that’s not cool… but you can put it in some moist sphagnum moss and put that in a plastic container until the roots start to form. Another option is to put it in water-make sure the node is in the water and they should grow into roots. Plastic container is probably more effective if you ask me. Then put it in bright indirect light. Hope this helps!
I don't know what is going on to my plants ..don't understand 😟for my plant ☘️ it will be healthy soon or not..I change the soil also..remove the insects also.
Bright light, well-draining soil, water, warmth, fertilizer, and humidity is all we can give to our plants. The last thing is time… they need time to recover. Maybe try to put the plant in a prop box. Plants love the high humidity. Good luck!

Hi what is root juice ? Thank you !
Syngonium albo has been on my wishlist for a while ! :) it would be cool to win one
Hi, favorite plant.. let me know if your still giving another one away...
Poor neighbor his getting all the blame for blocking the sun lol the end tho *what do those people say?* lmao 😂👍
Neighbor always gets all the good light! 😭 Haha and yeah I guess that’s what those people say... “Like and Subscribe!” Hehe 😂
Now I know that syngonium is trailing plant.
They are actually climbers. Anything with Aerial roots climb
Thanks for this vid. Where did you get the white pot?

Will a green leaf cutting (with node) from a Syngoniym albo eventually grow variegated leaves or will it remain a green plant?
It all depends on the stem/node if it still has some variegated DNA left in it. If not, then it will most likely grow all green. Nice watching it. I can do the same tomorrow
Oooo! Good luck! 😆
@@SuchPlants done.
I’m having trouble with mine I bought it from a seller who claimed it was “fully rooted” and came freshly cut with just a node
