Excellent points, especially where you pointed out the need for patience. The thoroughness is fundamental component of INFPs. If you're trying to rush them, you're putting them in places where they shouldn't be at all. Fish shouldn't be graded on their ability to climb a tree.
When we are stressed….tell us to breathe and breathe with us… tap into our physical world to pull us out of our heads: send us flowers, sweets, dinner, a candle…. Something to ground us. ❤ we’re like kids who need a nap and a snack and a hug lol
Guys, let's be honest with ourselves - being an infp, it's very difficult for us to find a girl with whom we have a good relationship. Personally, I have already managed to be a little disappointed in this whole story with romantic relationships. Before I found out about MBTI, I thought that I was some kind of abnormal, I didn't fit men's standards. Now it's better in this regard, but to be honest, I don't really hope to find a person who could understand me. I hope that at least everyone else is doing much better, and you have more chances for a positive relationship ❤
You are not alone.. Don't make a mistake like i did and completely shut the door due to continuous disappointments. I was alone for too long before i met my partner. Give it enough time and the right person will find you. Most likely when you least expect it 🤍
I have never read a comment that was more accurate about my whole life and how i feel, wtf. As a male infp i also always felt abnormal etc. When I was young i remember a girl, that had a crush in me, saying that im different and special compared to all the other boys. I took it almost as an insult back then, because at that time i just wanted to be a normal cool guy. Im 28 now and had 6 relationsships already, none of these lasted longer than half a year. A lot of girls find me attractive, interesting or mysterious and are intrigued in the beginning but after a while they always lose interested, say that we better are friends or say that they just dont understand me. Being a male INFP feels a bit like being an Alien to be honest :P
@@hhbased SAME, BRO. But I'm 21 yo and almost all girls who I ever liked can feel me like a friend from the beginning, or don't understand at all... I'm working for my character, and now I think that I'm handsome enough, and I became a little bit of a normal person lol. I'm a self-confident now, but anyway that's not enough for women. Idk what should I do... But now I feel like being alone is not bad, at least now...
I used to trust and open up , but it takes alot now. And i learned that theres a tricky infatuation period of 3 to 6 months where oxytocin seratonin dopamine vasopressin adrenaline are in high gear,. And if you're fooled into making any commitments, the real person shows up and you hate everything about each other
Thank you for making these things plain. as an ENFP, you helped me see how some of my behaviors that I may lay down as exciting, can present as competitive to an INFP man.
Very good. I think for many reasons we can be prone to attract narcissistic personalities and can be manipulated. But I do think once a "healthy" (whatever that means) realizes it, they will protect themselves, perhaps to an extreme. This was all very helpful

i am intj I am struggling with my infp gf, i love her, but when she starts asking me Questions and points out my mistakes, I feel helpless Whenever I say something in my defence, she says "again you are comparing / explaining etc" I don't know how to talk with emotions She said you should understand, but for that also she i should know where i am going wrong But she is not ready to open up Please help
Sorry to hear, I think, if you start out by acknowledging when she is right before you explain, that might make it easier to breach. Otherwise you both have a right to your experience of a situation the most important thing is you make her feel respected and listened to. What do you do to comfort her when upset? What do you do to put her at ease? How do you show her that you are listening and that you consider her point of view? You are allowed to process things rationally but remember that doesnt mean you dont have emotions. So do acknowledge that they are there. Even for a second go “Am I angry right now?” “Am I sad right now?” and then you can dissect that afterwards. Or first approach it logically but then when done stop and consider how this situation impacted your energy, motivation, confidence, etc
oh and read the four horsemen of the relationship apocalypse to make sure you both fight fair in arguments. and remember its normal to fight in relationships!
@@actualizedinfp now i can see my mistakes, she once said indirectly, i never acknowledge her, doesn't matter what she does. But deep down I admire her thoughts, it's just i never expressed thanks bro
As an infp lady, I can relate to her. We needs lots of affirmation, and what you really think about us (positive ones). We are sensitive to criticism and comparisons. We hate those, because we are unique in our own personality, there is no reason for comparison or getting harshlg competitive against us. We appreciate simple gestures, affirmative words, helping us grow, constructive criticism with a loving tone of voice (not comparisons). We are nonconformists and will not budge when it comes to our passions and values..

Honestly you can behave any way or no way,. It depends completely on what your nosse breath smells like. And if you can actually accept the whole shebang without trying to change them and offer strength in weaker areas, reciprocally that's all.
How to get them to love the INFP is the real question :D
Watching this to make me love myself more 💅
Such a boss movement 😂
