Never having used a trail cam ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx2sTDdZXomuxedMg_HothfjSXjR3rpPkA before, I was very impressed with the quality of the images and videos. The sensitivity of the camera can be adjusted as well as the length of video recordings. Once I found the sweet spot, I was getting great clips of deer and other animals almost every day. I was worried about battery life but have been running off the same 4 aa batteries for over a month. The SD card is easy to remove and connect to a computer. I have a Mac, and the AVI files open natively in QuickTime and are easy to save and share. This is a great, budget-friendly trail cam.
I moved to NC 3 yrs ago. I would hike the glades 4x a month, man do I miss it. There's nothing better than seeing nature and all its beauty. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the info on the walking camera. Love and look forward to your videos, please keep it up. I have purchase Browning cameras due to you and am replacing my Bushnells
thank you. what a wonderful privilege to see these guys, living life. ''they are fortunate to be there. i have a herd of deer, ''NH woods'', down to below zero . the horse was shaking when outdoors. dont know how the deer survive. , i know where they bed down , a grove of spruce trees. huddle together, but still cold.
I need to get a Browning. My Stealth Cam is really fuzzy. I use a rechargeable external battery pack, and I got a new one thinking that might be the problem. Your videos are of great quality.
Loved seeing the buck go after the doe - what a jump! What cracked me up was the doe taking a pee right in front of the camera - nature is funny! Thanks for sharing~karen
Great vids once again. Luv the Buck's. Gonna be boring once they shed their antlers. I really hope you remember where you put these cameras last few times so next antlers season (if they survive) we can see what they grow come velvet. A couple of them should be massive and those smaller baskets should be better. We gotta keep our eyes on them thru velvet and once they shine and shape up. Sum Beast of Piney wood rooters there son. Nice!!
I enjoy your videos and watching what you film. Thanks for sharking! Talking about camo, I always do what I think is a great job with camo. But I had a guy find one of my cameras last year and boy oh boy he tried his damnedest to get it off the tree, but couldn't. Thank goodness. I take a battery drill with me and set the nylon strap in tight with screws and washers. So that convinced me it's worth the effort. Of course if he had a good knife with him.....
Have you thought about placing one up above looking down over a connecting trail? That would be interesting and a different angle to view the critters?
I just picked up on that background noise from the brownings. I just went up this week to pull mine from it's spot to move it. and it now is doing that same noise on all the videos. it doesn't obstruct any of the natural sounds, but there's a constant noise.
Tim, you seem really good at picking "high traffic" areas. Oddhow that deer spotted your trail cam. My impression was their eyes have difficulty with detail being limited to 2 cones (colors). Do your cameras make sound or have small LED that flashes when filming starts?
I notice that some animals can definitely see the camera ... especially at night ... even some hogs and dear? I had the same thought when I say the dear and the turkey together ... as some sort of dual warning system!
Tim I am going to buy my first trail cam. I’m looking at a Browning Strike Force pro. I think it’s a 2018 camera. Do you know if that’s a good camera? I’ve heard that some of them have problems. Can you give me some advice? I sure would appreciate it. Thanks for all your videos, really cool
When you setup your video's on the camera, how many seconds do you set the recording for? Nice video's. You make a great effort to get the video's. I love the swamp animal activity.
I've had a few humans mess with my camera. I had one stolen a few months ago. The trail camera costs around $150. You have to have 8 AA batteries, an SD card and a cable lock for a total of around $180.
What will attract animals in front of my trail camera? I'm new at this, so excited to try it out! Can i use apples or something for the deer? What about if i want to attract carnivores?
The key is to look for trails or animal tracks. The animals seem to use the same trails frequently. Apples will probably attract deer. Try a can of sardines to attract some carnivores.
if you use sardines or cat food just punch a few holes in the cans with a screw driver so the smell attracts the animals and the sardines/cat food will last awhile and don't get eaten by the first animal that comes along. Don't forget to remove the old cans when you check back.
I set it up for 30 second videos. The smart IR does work and I've had some longer videos when animals stayed in front of the camera. I use regular energizer alkaline batteries and they last a looooooong time.
I cant explain how frustrating it is to get out to your camera a few weeks after putting it out, only to find it only recorded for a few days before filling the sd card up :/
Have you ever had any animal go on the attack when you came marching in to the swampy areas you go in to? I saw the one about the hogs, where you were at bit close to a hog. Has any any animal come after you?
I've never had an animal come after me. The bears look at me for a minute then slowly walk away. The hog was a little scary because they seemed to walk towards me a little and they were snorting but I think that is just a bluff.
I have the camera set to take 30 second 1080p HD videos with a 10 second delay between triggers. I also have the smart IR on so it will shoot the video as long as there is movement in front of the camera. The night videos are limited to 20 seconds.

I live in Central Florida. I never see the variety of wildlife your camera catches when I'm out in the woods. Thanks for helping me keep the faith!
My new addiction. thank you so much! I love how you pat the camera.
This is probably one of my new favorite channels.
Fantastic videos! Thank you for sharing! I'm in NW Fl area, never get tired of seeing our states wildlife.

The squirrel and the rabbit were especially refreshing in this video. Thanks for giving them a chance at stardom also.

I am always amazed that people walk right by your cameras and do not steal them. They don't even come back with tools to cut the lock!
Awesome footage. Some very Handsome bucks throughout.
Thoroughly enjoyed. ☺
Thank you. 👍
Have you thought about placing one up above looking down over a connecting trail? That would be interesting and a different angle to view the critters?
Deer at the end, definitely gets a whiff of your lingering scent. Spooked! You take a big risk with that barefoot stuff! Always interesting.
Dave M weeks later? I doubt it. Probably was the camera making a noise. If he winded him, that buck would have bolted out of there.
Love these vids. I love watching these set to dark ambient music, and at 12:13 ... got a serious jumpscare...

Just love watching! Thank you!
Seems like deers have better eyesight and intelligence than I thought. They can actually see the camera and wonder what it is.
Tim, you seem really good at picking "high traffic" areas. Oddhow that deer spotted your trail cam. My impression was their eyes have difficulty with detail being limited to 2 cones (colors). Do your cameras make sound or have small LED that flashes when filming starts?
There is a faint red glow during the night videos. Other than that, there is no sound. I'm sure the animals can smell the camera.
I notice that some animals can definitely see the camera ... especially at night ... even some hogs and dear? I had the same thought when I say the dear and the turkey together ... as some sort of dual warning system!
I've seen deer and turkey together a few times. I do think they hang out together for better predator detection.
Do you have it set to "Ultra" video mode? UA-cam is not giving me the option to watch in 60 fps.
I shoot everything in 1080p 30 fps.
Fantastic. Amazing how they know that camera is there. In daytime obviously. Incredible.
Ace videos. Love them. 👍👍🌿🍃💚🍃🌿

Bruce landfather I’ve heard they’re good. My buddy has had a strike force for a few years. I just ordered a dark ops pro.
Great Stuff! TY for sharing.
These are awesome and so are you thank you 👍
Deers have some really good eye sides every time they picked up ur camera looking straight at it
You have a pleasant voice Tim, just a small southern drawl! :)
PS: does the camera make noise? animals seem to notice something about the camera.
Thank you. The camera gives off a faint red glow in the night videos. I think the animals can see the red lights.
seems they also notice in daylight, so maybe it makes a noise we cannot hear?
Deer headlights scared the crap out of me.....and finally got to see someone pee...I've watched a lot of videos consecutively.
Love your videos
Don’t you have to worry about deer ticks as you walk around out there?
I don't think he even cares, this man is the legend of the Florida everglades
Very cool videos..is it mostly in Fl Everglades?
Videos are good. what about the trigger speed on just still photo?
I think the still photo trigger speed is a little bit faster but I only shoot videos.
Yes ! Been waiting on you .......... 😍 Get some rubber boots before you get a ringworm or a cut , but I do like how you are a savage and go barefoot .
The backpacker who walked past the camera better filter all of his drinking water according to the action at 13:07. lol
Your videos are awesome and you seem to always find the wildlife! What kind of stuff do you look for when placing your cameras?
I look for animal trails or tracks. I've found that most animals use the same trails to get around.
When you setup your video's on the camera, how many seconds do you set the recording for? Nice video's. You make a great effort to get the video's. I love the swamp animal activity.
Thanks. I set the videos for 30 seconds with a 10 second delay between videos.
Thanks for another great video
Love seeing bucks running does
Nice! Cool buck chasing the doe!
These raccoons are huge !! Thanks for sharing these videos !
Turkeys see better and the deer has better hearing in Pennsylvania they hang around eachother in fields and work together.
Have you ever caught a human checking out the camera? Also, about how much does that rig cost? Cool videos!

What batteries do you use mine never seem to last long?
I use regular alkaline AA batteries. I use Engergizer mostly
Do you set your camera to 20 second videos or do your Brownings have the smart IR video mode on? Do you use lithium batteries?
I set it up for 30 second videos. The smart IR does work and I've had some longer videos when animals stayed in front of the camera. I use regular energizer alkaline batteries and they last a looooooong time.
Great videos. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, but she refused to grant permission to use her footage in the video ... so.

GoPro Hero 5 with a Karma Grip.
