- A trail camera salvage mission after we received 21 inches of rain over a 3 day period. I was able to recover the videos off of the Sandisk SD cards even though they were underwater for 3 weeks.

You make me laugh out loud Tim!! Thank you for the great videos! You really go through a lot for those of us who love to watch your wild life videos!
Thank you, I appreciate that.
"I hate this place, I'm never coming back down here!" ~"Until next weekend!" That's classic Tim
This is my favorite so far. That otter barking at the alligator! XD
YOU ARE EITHER VERY BRAVE OR CRAZY BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY I WOULD GET IN THAT WATER LOOKING FOR A CAMERA OR ANYTHING FOR THAT MATTER...BUT KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK..
John Holmes me either
Just found your channel, or UA-cam algorithm helped.....either way, I am binge watching now. You take a lot of risks!
This has got to be one of my favorites ~ you are a madman!!!! Great video
Oh my goodness! At the end the audio on you're GoPro (I assume that's what you wear on your chest) picked up the thudding of your heart beat! I can't believe what you are willing to go through to get these videos for us. Thank you!!!
Fascinating. I half expected that big 'ol black bear to go after that smallish gator but he wanted no part of him. And the smaller bear seemed to smell the gator or some how knew it was in there before he even took a drink but the big bear was about to take a swim before he saw him. This is fascinating video.
I get so scared for you every time you walk into water that deep.
This really was a mission! Thanks for doing it! So much fun!
We love all of the little critters. We always check first for your videos. Thank you
I finally watched the underwater camera recover I heard of so often in your other videos. That was very impressive. I assumed the batteries where already dead, because its not water what damages electronics, its the shortcuts it produces, when there is power. But those guys just turned on 10sec after pulling them out of the water. I was going to say, in general, if electronics get wet, just remove the batteries quickly and let it dry for a couple of days, but in your case, after those cameras where under water for a couple of weeks, it doesn't make a difference. Anyways, great job and amazing videos :)
Totally safe, standing around in crotch deep swamp water in Florida.
I mean, what could possibly go wrong? Will we hear your SCREAMS, Tim?
Dude you are one brave man ...love your videos and I have to give you a lot of respect... amazing
I would never walk through alligator swamp, that's nutty.
You get used to it and it becomes a lot of fun
You are a good advertisement for Browning. They should give you a new one.
I see a lot of rare wildflowers. I wish you would video more of those awesome and rare flowers there in the swamps. It also looks like lots of ground orchids in some places. There were little round blue flowers that look like they might be the rarest flower in the world as much as the ghost orchid.
There are a lot of wild orchids in that area. That's the main reason why I am out there. There is a good number of ghost orchids in that area.
Incredible video! Thank you for sharing, loved it!
You SCARE the sh!$ out of me walking in the deep swamp water!!! There’s no way I would do that Florida is over run with alligators!!! I hope you stay safe ❣️
You also need to keep an eye on those river otters. They can attack things if they work together.
Yep~ Browning would be a fool to not hook you up! I love your videos, Tim~ 6:45 until the end is just unbelievable.
Pretty awesome those things were under water that long and still worked. I just ordered one even though they're discontinued. Hope I don't regret it.
Awesome
Great video! One of your best - and they are all compulsory watching for me.....
Also, I love your commentary and your gator jumping technique. I’m backing you for a podium finish in the forthcoming Swamp Olympics!
Sir, your videos are about the best wildlife footage I have ever consumed, and I am an avid consumer! Sure, some of those Nat Geo types get some classic footage, though they always package it as if to become some kind of Disney anthropomorphic epic. I love your stuff, because the animals all seem so chill, just doing that they do naturally, which means kind of wandering around! Really makes me want to get down to Florida.
Yeah, "goofing off"! That seems to be mainly what animals are about!
Btw, are you seriously THAT afraid of a gator lying on the trail? Aren't they much more dangerous in the water, which you don't seem to perturbed about? Anyway, keep on strokin! :)
Thank you Andrew. I'm not that afraid of the gators down there. The ones I see in the water usually swim away. The ones on the trail make me a little nervous because they like to stand their ground and don't move when you need to walk by. The one thing that I am nervous about are the water moccasins. They usually don't move until your foot is coming down on top of them and you have to do the one-legged snake avoidance jump.
@@ShrikeZone Tim, yeah, the poisonous water snakes in knee+ deep water! That would sure make me a bit nervous. Heard those things can be feisty, too. (Guess the same goes for copper heads.) I really had to get geared up once to back woods hike where there were rattlesnakes, though those ended up being neither too prevalent nor aggressive. Did camp out for while where there were a lot of western diamondbacks (southern Cali). They weren't too feisty, though not what you'd call timid, either.
Main thing is once you are around them, you start to settle down. It's chilling in our houses that brings the fear. I just get more alert when I'm in the wild, watch where I'm going, surer on my feet. Yeah, still think those moccasins like that would take some getting used to! But, damn, those skeeters have got to be the worst! At least grateful that's one bug blight TX doesn't have! See you riding your bike with them clinging to your hand. Guess I'd just have to go full body net! HATE me some skeeters! Y'all got West Nile down that way? Fire ants used to bother me, but not no more. Have to be EXTRA damn cautious about the chiggers, though!
Seeing that big balled bear slink off away from the sight of gater eyes was funny as heck. 😂
Those videos were will worth it....wow. Great video.
I would have liked to have seen the water rise. In upstate ny we don’t get rain like that.
One of the days a Cougargator will snap your ass Tim ...loll
I joined when you choked on the mosquitoes 😂
Bruce Mullis that was the funniest thing. I had the same thing happen to me . Lol.
I love videos , and I greatly appreciate what you go through to get them , but you would never catch me walking through snake infested waters and jumping over crocodiles
NO FUCKIN WAY
I have been watching all your videos from the beginning and I must say I love your videos. I live in central Florida and love to hike in the woods mostly in the mountains, that’s why I bought an RV to travel in ,anyway as I was saying. I just never realized what could of been on the path before I was. I am not afraid and I do carry bear spray, but now when I walk I am going to look a little closer, but I could never go in the swamp like you do, you have got to be the braves man live or the craziest alive...LOL please be careful and keep make these videos. It’s so cool to see what goes on in animal life in place I know I will go to, Be Safe:-)
Wow, what an incredible spot and adventure!
As a Florida native myself, I have to ask: Have you ever been attacked or menaced (as in actively hunted) by a gator? I know how they are in rut season and you wouldn't get me in that water then, I've been way too close to them in a John-boat while fishing, and that was enough! A big male bellowed about five yards away and I damn near walked on water. My home area in the Panhandle has a lot of place-names that are a dead giveaway as to what lives there-- Gator Lake in the state park, that sort of thing.

“Big ass turd!”
New favorite UA-cam channel.
You’re awesome!
Tim, I just cringe everytime I see you walking through water with all the alligators in that state! Yikes!
Dayum!
You wouldn’t get away with that in Northern Australia. You’d be lunch.
Good thing it’s south Florida.
So that Gator was just waiting to ambush, in that little water hole?
Did the camera get the video of the gator walking to that hole?
I look forward to seeing what you captured on film. amazing. kudos to you. be careful with those gators.
"I hate this friggen place. I'm never coming down here again. Until this weekend." Tim Harrell
I feel that way every time I'm down there until it's time to go home and then I can't wait to go back. :)
It was cute, @@ShrikeZone. Thank you for the work you put into these trail cams. I'm secretly hoping for aliens or a swamp monster, but it's all good.
Great video
That alligator took over ... Everyone else was like "NOPE!"
You are very BRAVE! Thank you for the great video!!
Aren't you afraid of gators and snakes when you are walking around in the deep water? But I guess they are just as afraid of you, so it's about making noise to show you are there.
The state bird for Florida is the mosquito....lol
Awesome spot for wildlife! Thanks for the video!
Keep us up to date on what Browning does for you. I don't think any trail camera I ever used would have survived, they are just not meant to be submerged in water for any length of time. Lastly I don't know if your brave or just the opposite to come that close to a gator with no recourse if he wanted to have you for lunch. Thanks for sharing.
Browning is sending me 2 new cameras! I wouldn't use another camera because the video and audio quality but now I wont use another brand of camera because of their awesome customer service and support.
Sounds like they really stepped up when they saw how many people watch your videos. Good press for sure. I am done with the Bushnell trail cameras, they are the worst I have ever used. Might give Browning a try and also Reconx.
dheller777 Florida Life! Wow.
I had latch/locks break and Browning people out of Alabama sent me 3 new ones for free. The lady
that works there-Kelly was super nice and I received my parts within a few days.
10:30 Black Bear: I don't know what that is in the water, but me and my ass flies are getting out of here
Lolololol, Big Turd! I hate this place, I’m never coming back...till next week hee hee hee
That was so cool, everybody was in that water hole
Vacuum pack it in rice. Saved a few of my cameras over the years. Great Vid.
Amazing trail cam captures!
Gators this way, that way.... bloody hell, Tim. I'd be worried about those KILLER SNAKES in all that water!!
You are so funny...
Love your videos...
This was a beautiful video, I especially love otters. However, the thought of you wandering around in waist deep water is just too scary.
That bear at 9:50 is a chungus!
Pfft hahaha calling the gator a swamp turd made me laugh so hard!
Was that his heart beating in the vidoe when he ran past the gator ?
Good heavens those mosquitoes are Huge!!! So loud. Buzzing. Great video 👣🌴👣
Who knew what such big scary creature could be so scared of a tiny thing lmao
Very cool, the same critters. Do you Chart their visits ?
That would be interesting.
Damn that gator wasnt even afraid of you, no deal!
My common sense would tell me to stay out of swamp water.Especially in places like Florida and Louisiana
I thought the snorkel was an entertaining prop at first!
As pessoas pensam que o cara não sofre pra conseguir boas imagens. É uma correria danada, enfrentando os obstáculos que a natureza impõe e ainda arriscando ter os equipamentos roubados.
Translation?
@@elizabethbaker3110 I also do records with track cameras... But people imagine that the person does not suffer to get good images. It's a darn rush, facing the obstacles that nature imposes and still risking having stolen equipment.
Ela também poderia - se tradução era realmente o que ela queria - ter pegado esse texto e usar Google translate para fazer a tão querida tradução. @Elizabeth Baker: cada um pode escrever o que quiser usando a lingua que quiser, não existe padrão.
I was wondering about the rain-resistance of Browning cameras. Not anymore.
You should show a time laps of the water rising
Therma-cell dude and edit the gageing out LOL!
Great video. thanks
You have big nads to do what you do, but sure enjoy your videos!! Be careful!
FLORIDA ?
Are you not afraid of gators?
Love Your Videos...
Trail cam to fish videos
Great trails
Yep we saw that
Dude you’re crazy! But I love your videos.
Oye those bear nads. Hang like the ones under truck bumpers. 😁
Francesca McGill 🤣🤣
So how do you keep the gators from eating you? lol!
Edit: Oh, you did come across one. lmao!
I would pee my pants. Cheers from Germany
I see mosquitoes taste just as bad in the Florida as in the Yukon
The tripod can be a good defensive tool. If you point the legs at the animal, like the circus master uses the chair. the animal cannot process the comings and goings of the multi prongs, and they will stay put.
I love your videos, but you had mentioned the Recon Platinum as well and thought that the differences between the Recon and Recon Platinum might make a difference. Thanks for the feedback!
Browning has the recon force platinum and the recon force extreme. The extreme is the newer version. Both cameras are great.
Yeah that was weird you said that it was broken but then it all the suddenly turned on
Wow, Tim! That young alligator in the pool of water affected a lot of animals. A wildebeest and zebra would have managed. Maybe. :o)
Wow great videos
"big arse turd"....very funny!!!
Ha was it a gator that spooked the bear? He stepped out real quick lmao
So what is the status of the two cameras which were submerged? Are they working now?
The are both still working! The LCD screen is a little messed up but they seem to be working. I'm going to put them both out in the woods and see what happens.
You cracked me up man ..good videos..I run Browning strike force HD . I was curious did Browning replace them?
Come back ,,, next weekend hahaha
I am getting a Browning trail cam now.
Reconyx are the best, though it looks like his Browning cams do pretty good.
Awesome vids! So surprised. What city is this with mountain lions? Ya gotta share, cause I think I go near that area once a year from Orlando to West Palm, like ft. Pierce area. Great woods they have. I'm not a hunter, just an explorer.
Redbug 3 Florida Panther.
I was sitting here wondering why you were still standing in the water 😨 you can move out of the danger zone and talk 😰 ive seen you do it
I love your videos. Well presented. I was born in FL. Retired now in Thailand. I hope you have bear spray and a sidearm. I am not for guns, but you need protection. Best wishes.
It wasn't working but then it turned on at all the suddenly decided to turn on
Pretty cool!!!!
rip
I'd be a little concerned about snakes.
Browning was generous to replace your cameras.
