Great video, thanks for the simple but excellent walk through. My hellcat actually came very dirty and with thick grease from factory so it needed a very good cleaning, running so much smoother now that I got that factory stuff out and used some WC Lube which I love on all my guns.

your take down is where the stricker will break, when the take down lever is already upward you should slowly bring back the slide forward not to stress the stricker sliding forward abruptly.

Great video. The Hellcat is simple to breakdown. I tried rotating the lever with the use of a fingernail which is one of those "don't try this at home boys and girls"! I don't understand what the big deal is over having to pull the trigger for disassembly. USCCA is a great bargain .

You went though some steps TOO FAST ,petIcularly during camera focusing. I am thoroughly familiar with COMPLETE take down of a Govt. 1911 pistol , and was hoping for a complete take down of the HELLCAT . FIRING PIN ,ETC . Because during heavy practice, the firing pin area sometimes has a tendency to foul up . I enjoyed most of the video , and looking forward to more . 😀

But, I'm giving it one last chance with mcarbo Trigger Spring & Stainless Steel Striker Sleeve kit.if it works out it should reduce the trigger from 500 pounds to a more manageable 4 pounds. Hellcat is the only gun on the planet that has recoil mule kickback even when dry firing.

How did the M-Carbo setup work out for you? I just recently bought a Hellcat Pro and was looking to go with the trigger striker setup by them. I've heard that it's best to use the original Hellcat sear spring because the one M-Carbo supplies is weak and will cause light primer strikes which leads to misfires.
