it probably is a 3.25" barrel, James. You measure barrels from the breach face to the end. In other words, put it all back together, stick a pencil down the barrel (with the breech closed), mark the end of the barrel on the pencil, and then measure that distance. That is the by the book way to measure a barrel, and i bet anything that it being a 1911 barrel that it doesn't fully support the case, which would mean that where you measured from doesn't touch the breech face. Sorry to nerd it up in the comment section. Carry on, gents.

That is NOT a 1911. It’s a 2011. Huge difference. He wouldn’t consider that gun if it were a 1911 with 7-8 round capacity. Calling this gun a 1911 is like calling the Shelby Cobra an AC Ace. Is the newer, better one, based on the older one? Sure. But it’s not the same.
For some reason Glock is through the roof. I saw a used g26 gen 5 at a pawn shop for $799.. I went to sportsman’s and snagged a p365 for $499. Cheaper and blows Glock out of the water in every way..

The problem is when you have guys growing up being only exposed to handguns like the Glock your going to have them bad mouthing the 1911. But the one thing that’s clearly evident is the 1911 has the best trigger around and the gun is extremely fast and accurate. Most of the 1911’s faults come from the magazines even the stock Colt mags are junk. If you buy high quality mags like Cobra mags you will never have a reliability problem even with series 70’s and 80’s guns. There’s a reason why 20 plus different manufacturers make the 1911 and 2011.
Glock fans have never shot anything else because a Glock is all they could afford. Every serious operator or ex-operator I've talked to carries a 1911 for fast and accurate shooting. No glocks.

In my experience, almost all 1911 issues are due to an extractor not being “tight” enough. Most 1911s I see have an extractor tuned way too loose, even out of the box.
One of my gun buddies saw your video on the BUL SAS and he bought one. I know we've put at least 2000 rounds through it and it's been killer. It's a awesome hand gun! He carries it a lot. He's a Glock and Springfield XD fan and he was blown away by the accuracy and trigger pull of this outstanding firearm. I'm currently saving up the cash to buy one myself. Good review. I had a Bul double-stack years ago and the first time I fired it, all the bullets went into the same hole. I changed point of aim several inches to the left to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing.
I carry the Browning 1911-380, 3.625", and I love it. Accurate, small, nice trigger, easy safety, and at 45 ft, my grouping is always nice. I know people don't like 380's, the browning court, but there are some really good defensive rounds for it.
I am a 1911 guy. I have always loved them more than any. BUT I do appreciate my Glocks ALOT (especially P80 design) for everyday carry alittle more. I have not seen this gun until now so I’m pretty stoked and I hope I find one.
Never had a jam with my 1943 colt us army .Steel case,brass case aluminum case all fed and ejected perfectly.maybe not a great carry piece but functioned flawlessly

I've been into 1911's since I was a kid. My command in the service was one of the last hold outs that still used the 1911. After leaving the service I bought a lightweight commander and didn't care much for how it shot. Then I bought a "enhanced combat commander" and I've used it for concealed carry for around 30 yrs now. I have no idea how much ammo I've ran through it and I honestly don't really recall it ever have any kind of misfeed. So either I am very lucky, or 1911's are more reliable than James claims in the video. Yes, there are some drawbacks to carrying a 1911. However, the trigger and the way the gun shoots is my primary reason for carrying it. I have been keeping my eye out for an affordable (Relatively speaking) double stack 9mm single action. Maybe this is the gun I've been waiting for.

Ok, I just subscribed on the strength of two Awesome videos on the B.1301 and how you 'wised-up' and broke down to fall in love with the 1911. (or 2011 Bull) What a Sweet gun. I've been shooting IPSC/USPSA going on 33 yrs. I'm now using a Para Ordinance tricked out as much as one can for Limited Class, 3-1/2 lbs. trigger and still old school in 45 acp. Started with 9mm but made the move Backwards to 45 once the Hi Caps arrived. Only us older guys favor 45 it seems. It's all good. Your vids are impressive and I have to find out more about your Channel. Also would like to take that shotgun course as I've never competed in 3-gun matches. Now I must start to binge watch your previous shows. Nice.👍

@@CantTreadOnMe You should buy a Glock for sure, it's just too damn good to turn down for the price too. Also aftermarket parts are cheap and available everywhere, so you can experiment with it. Personally though, I bought a 22 for my first handgun. I practiced my grip, trigger, and aim. Just go for a glock or a Smith & Wesson.
I just started carrying my original Canadian Para Ordnance P12-45. Did the old "will it jam?" by adding some crappy steel case ball ammo. Flawless...many many mags later. I am sure you can relate....change guns like seasons for carrying. The Para is coming around for winter.
The new Gen of the SAS II U/L has a reduced beaver tail and bobbed hammer. BUL also makes its own optic for their pistols. Gun now comes in a zippered attaché type case with two magazines instead of a pelican type case. MSRP is now about $200.00 more. Fit and finish are impeccable. Priority 1 Holsters makes holsters for this pistol. Thirty-Seven is not old.
From the video, it looks like muzzle flip is almost non existent, that’s shocking from such a small barrel. Very interesting. Might have to add it to my 2011 wish list. Great video!!

@@JJ_SDWR I've both Glocks and this gun. I shoot this gun MUCH better than my Glocks. It's just as light as my Glocks. It carries more ammo than my glocks. It's trigger is much better than my Glock triggers. It's sights are much better than my Glock sights. This gun is not really a Glock competitor. It's more of a Staccato/STI competitor. Not all Scotch is created equal - great Scotch is going to cost you. It's the same with guns. Anyone thinking that any Johnnie Walker lable is just as good as any The Macallan label is high AF. It's the same with guns.
I really love your reviews, this one in particular because I’ve been through the same thing. I bought and now love a Wilson Combat EDC x9, I love love my Phoenix Trinity Morph, but both are a tad to meaty to conceal all day so I just bought the ultra light. I am thinking of doing a comparison between the three.

@@dewdrummer4384 the parts have to be really far out of tolerance for a 1911 to be unreliable, yet some 2000s production 1911s are absolute garbage. Thing is, I'm pretty sure most of the time when you have an unreliable 1911 you can make it reliable by putting a couple thousand rounds through it lol.
@@DSiren yeah definitely or by upgrading mags. Most manufacturers also recommend at least a 500 rd break in too to solidify fit but even before breaking in I've had no failures whatsoever on my 1911s they're the most reliable guns I've shot.
@@dewdrummer4384 It's a solid design. Just a shame it's single stack all the way down. Even just bumping capacity up to 10+1 rds would be a substantial improvement and make the choice much easier. Right now trigger safeties are a dealbreaker for me, so no glocks ever. 2011s are a bit overpriced for how few changes they had to make over the 1911A1. I'd understand 800-1200 for a time while you're trying to pay off redesign and the cost of new machine tools, but they're never going to get the purchase volume to become a carry staple with prices like that - which is a catch 22 since they need the purchase volume to reduce prices :/.
Great review of a great looking gun. I know it makes more sense to purchase a Glock considering both guns perform pretty much the same. But this gun isn't about just the way it performs in the field. This gun is also about quality craftsmanship and great looking aesthetics. This is the kind of gun you buy when you want to treat yourself to something nice and splurge a little. I'll be searching for this gun locally so I can feel it in the hand before buying. But if I like what I see I won't hesitate to purchase as my next carry.
What you need to understand is you shouldn’t have to wonder if your gun will go boom when you need it to. Hoping that a firearm won’t jam (like 1911s do) hasn’t proven reliable enough. We’re not comparing when your daddy had one while in the military. They also had big ole flaps over the holsters back then.. Times change….
@@mrsincere4640 I agree, and I would never put a gun in my holster that has not sent plenty of lead down range and been thoroughly put through its paces by me. I know a few guys who carry 1911's and for them it is their gun of choice. I'm very aware of the reputation of 1911s jamming but at the same token I own a Kimber Micro Nine that has sent thousands of rounds down range without a hitch. I've even carried it on occasion. Generally, my edc is a striker fired Hellcat. I tell people shoot what's right for you. If it's what you like, it performs well, and it goes boom when you pull the trigger, then power to you.
In all seriousness, how the hell does James manage to get every 1911 he touches to be unreliable? I find that very hard to believe. I’ve owned a pretty cheap hunk of steel (Taurus) and not once did it ever malfunction more than one time. Used cheap steel cased ammunition on a cold February morning at 5°, one stovepipe. That’s it. Perhaps we need to consider operator error?

@@MightyMaynes stovepipes usually are caused by an undertensioned extractor. They need to be tuned properly, and the combination of crap metal and cost cutting makes this common.
Love the 1911 design, form and function. But always had bad luck with that thumb safety (accidentally clicking it on). And just couldn’t get used to carrying cocked & locked. I miss the ParaOrdnance. Should’ve kept the one I had years ago!
I understand that lower round count and weight aren’t in the 1911s favor. But In my opinion, most people can shoot even cheap 1911s out the box much better than any polymer gun. The trigger pull on even low end 1911s is lighter and crisper than most other guns. Hands down, I always shoot better with my 1911s. I have the Springfield micro 1911, but I generally carry my XDS 9mm most days. One of the main reasons being that I don’t feel nearly as bad when I drop or dirty up a polymer gun. But I WILL ALWAYS love the 1911 for it’s shooting characteristics.
My carry is a full size Rock Island Armory 1911(their rock series), it's produced locally here in the Philippines so it's almost half the price of a Glock but shoots way better than the stock trigger of a Glock. I currently use it for competition replacing only the recoil spring and rear sight.
Another well balanced and fair review from James. I like that a lot. When the jokes are put aside and something objectively good (or bad) shows up this guy tells the truth. That's all we really want.
I finally got mine...I truly love this gun ,just finished 500 rounds of blazer range ammo and 200 rounds of hollow point the name escapes me at the moment but not one hiccup...thank you for your review..!! Sig sauer was the hollow point I used ...lol
A 1911 is as good as its owner and his training. However, to protect your home, get a short barrel shot gun. NEVER aim just point and shoot. You will have to use spackling to fill in the holes in the wall

Thank god for JM Browning. Ive heard non feed ramp 1911 can have trouble w hollow point. My modern smith and paras will feed anything. Just run 230 ball. Its what its made for. And works great in that form.
alligatorpear you can have a non hand fit 1911 and it will function better than the old ones the old ones sighs were terrible and the hand fit it’s not the best I’ll take any 1911 better than the old one
RIA BBR 3.10 45 ACP, double stack 10+1 yeah its all steel with a beefy grip no lightweight, very similar to the old Para P10 Warthog. Matter of fact can use Para hicap mags with a little Dremel work on the magazine catch slot. Factory ported, adjustable rear sights windage and elevation. Can use Para P10 grips with a little demel work. Street price around 600 bucks. Ive stripped it to frame polished all internals broke in with 300 rounds and it runs great. Seventies series.

James just found your channel. Your commentary is well delivered, succinct, to the point and enjoyable to listen to. Oh buddy you gotta know this; 37 is close to 45 which is close to 55 which is close to the big 6 0. It will go by before you know it. Trust me I’m a 1911 guy. As far as carry I think what’s most important is that you are comfortable, competent and confident in the one you carry. For me it’s a Wilson Combat professional.
Hey James, a quick note on the slide release: JMB designed it to be hit with the support thumb after inserting the fresh mag. It's not meant to be hit with your firing hand, like most modern handguns.
@@jtinnac1895 look at a 1911. There's checkering/knurling on the top side of the slide release, it's put there to improve traction. It is absolutely intended to be used as a slide release, just not with the firing hand.
Being a 2011 you have to have some big ass mits to hit the slide stop with your firing hand. That is a common 2011 phenomenon. Most 2011's are used as competition guns and most of us have either a cut slide stop or non-lockback followers. Very few competitors utilizing it. With a 1911 and standard grip panels you can get your firing thumb on the pad of it.
James, I own quite a few 1911s and I've had nothing but good luck with mine. I can honestly say in the thousands of rounds thru all of them and have had next to nothing for issues. My Sig Scorpion 1911 is in my EDC rotation. I've literally had one problem with that one and it was a magazine. I clean an oil them more than any of my other guns granted but I can say that I, can can trust in them 100%. That said this Bul Armory 1911 looks freaking awesome. I am going to their website right now to look at their products and see if there is an FFL near me that has one so that I can get one today or tomorrow. You are only the second person I've seen talk about it, the other one bring a guy that shoots at my local range and that was just a couple of weeks ago. Looked good, shot well from what I saw. Having a 1911 that shoots 9mm ammo is like putting a Civic engine in a Ferrari. A fine 1911 in .45 ACP is about as good as it gets. I’m glad I’m old enough to have learned on the great handguns!
James, felt same way; have a commander Colt 1911 Mark IV and FS 1911(also ammo finicky). Put up my 2 1911s in safe and bought HK45 for winter and HKp30SK for Warmer weather; both models of HK have cocked and locked ability.

TFB TV , from one attorney to another, having used handgun in a defensive situation and sitting for 2 days giving testimony in a civil deposition, the optics of a “light” trigger may be potentially difficult to explain to a jury. I assure you, when one has that “Adrenaline dump” pulling out one’s handgun to shoot, one won’t notice the difference between a heavy vs “light” trigger.
I think the reality of carrying a 1911 is accepting that you aren’t [insert movie or war hero of choice here] - I often carry my single stack .45 1911, or my Kahr K40, wait for it... without any reloads. I don’t live in Chicago or Compton. It’s not a high crime area, I’ve carried for nearly a decade and only ever drawn down on someone on two occasions and never had to fire a shot. If I wind up in a situation where I need a full size high capacity optic mounted laser and flashlight equipped combat/competition firearm with two reloads and somewhere around 50 rounds of ammo.... there have been some eyebrow cocking life decisions made that led to that point. In my day to day travels the comfort and concealability of a single stack firearm inside the waistband simply cannot be beat. And at 200+ lbs, I’m not crying about a few extra ounces for a metal frame that I won’t notice until it’s in my hand contributing to a smoother, better, more accurate shooting experience. I’m no boomer, but with a bum knee, and a love for my 1911, I’ll happily sit on a porch in a rocking chair with some Sweet tea enjoying the comfort of my EDC of choice keeping me company.
That's a very pretty gun! Has the traditional 1911 silhouette, which is always cool, but has an updated modern/tactical aesthetic that doesn't take it too far and go into the mall ninja territory. Pretty neat.
I carry a Dan Wesson ECO in 9mm for the same reasons you’ve discovered here. It shoots amazing. It’s reliable. The only thing it lacks is capacity. Now I’m thinking hard about that Bul. 🤔

I’ve had more malfunctions from my G17 than any of my 1911’s. Starting from a highly customized Colt Gold Cup for bullseye shooting. An unmodified Gold cup I carried in South America as a duty gun. A Commander that I used as a CC gun until I used it in a defensive situation and it got “lost” by the sheriff’s department. A Commander to replace that, a Kimber PRo Carry, and a variety of Springfields... I shot a range rental SA EMP and it was better at 5 7 10 and 15 yards than either my 17 or 19 both having red dots.

In my experience, almost all 1911 issues are due to an extractor not being “tight” enough. Most 1911s I see have an extractor tuned way too loose, even out of the box.
One of my gun buddies saw your video on the BUL SAS and he bought one. I know we've put at least 2000 rounds through it and it's been killer. It's a awesome hand gun! He carries it a lot. He's a Glock and Springfield XD fan and he was blown away by the accuracy and trigger pull of this outstanding firearm. I'm currently saving up the cash to buy one myself. Good review. I had a Bul double-stack years ago and the first time I fired it, all the bullets went into the same hole. I changed point of aim several inches to the left to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing.

I carry the Browning 1911-380, 3.625", and I love it. Accurate, small, nice trigger, easy safety, and at 45 ft, my grouping is always nice. I know people don't like 380's, the browning court, but there are some really good defensive rounds for it.
I am a 1911 guy. I have always loved them more than any. BUT I do appreciate my Glocks ALOT (especially P80 design) for everyday carry alittle more. I have not seen this gun until now so I’m pretty stoked and I hope I find one.

I've been into 1911's since I was a kid. My command in the service was one of the last hold outs that still used the 1911. After leaving the service I bought a lightweight commander and didn't care much for how it shot. Then I bought a "enhanced combat commander" and I've used it for concealed carry for around 30 yrs now. I have no idea how much ammo I've ran through it and I honestly don't really recall it ever have any kind of misfeed. So either I am very lucky, or 1911's are more reliable than James claims in the video. Yes, there are some drawbacks to carrying a 1911. However, the trigger and the way the gun shoots is my primary reason for carrying it. I have been keeping my eye out for an affordable (Relatively speaking) double stack 9mm single action. Maybe this is the gun I've been waiting for.

Ok, I just subscribed on the strength of two Awesome videos on the B.1301 and how you 'wised-up' and broke down to fall in love with the 1911. (or 2011 Bull) What a Sweet gun. I've been shooting IPSC/USPSA going on 33 yrs. I'm now using a Para Ordinance tricked out as much as one can for Limited Class, 3-1/2 lbs. trigger and still old school in 45 acp. Started with 9mm but made the move Backwards to 45 once the Hi Caps arrived. Only us older guys favor 45 it seems. It's all good. Your vids are impressive and I have to find out more about your Channel. Also would like to take that shotgun course as I've never competed in 3-gun matches. Now I must start to binge watch your previous shows. Nice.👍

Personally though, I bought a 22 for my first handgun. I practiced my grip, trigger, and aim. Just go for a glock or a Smith & Wesson.

I just started carrying my original Canadian Para Ordnance P12-45. Did the old "will it jam?" by adding some crappy steel case ball ammo. Flawless...many many mags later. I am sure you can relate....change guns like seasons for carrying. The Para is coming around for winter.
The new Gen of the SAS II U/L has a reduced beaver tail and bobbed hammer. BUL also makes its own optic for their pistols. @@dewdrummer4384 the parts have to be really far out of tolerance for a 1911 to be unreliable, yet some 2000s production 1911s are absolute garbage. Thing is, I'm pretty sure most of the time when you have an unreliable 1911 you can make it reliable by putting a couple thousand rounds through it lol.
@@DSiren yeah definitely or by upgrading mags. Most manufacturers also recommend at least a 500 rd break in too to solidify fit but even before breaking in I've had no failures whatsoever on my 1911s they're the most reliable guns I've shot.
@@dewdrummer4384 It's a solid design. Just a shame it's single stack all the way down. Even just bumping capacity up to 10+1 rds would be a substantial improvement and make the choice much easier. Right now trigger safeties are a dealbreaker for me, so no glocks ever. 2011s are a bit overpriced for how few changes they had to make over the 1911A1. I'd understand 800-1200 for a time while you're trying to pay off redesign and the cost of new machine tools, but they're never going to get the purchase volume to become a carry staple with prices like that - which is a catch 22 since they need the purchase volume to reduce prices :/.
Great review of a great looking gun. I know it makes more sense to purchase a Glock considering both guns perform pretty much the same. But this gun isn't about just the way it performs in the field. This gun is also about quality craftsmanship and great looking aesthetics. This is the kind of gun you buy when you want to treat yourself to something nice and splurge a little. I'll be searching for this gun locally so I can feel it in the hand before buying. But if I like what I see I won't hesitate to purchase as my next carry.
What you need to understand is you shouldn’t have to wonder if your gun will go boom when you need it to. Hoping that a firearm won’t jam (like 1911s do) hasn’t proven reliable enough. We’re not comparing when your daddy had one while in the military. They also had big ole flaps over the holsters back then.. Times change….
@@mrsincere4640 I agree, and I would never put a gun in my holster that has not sent plenty of lead down range and been thoroughly put through its paces by me. I know a few guys who carry 1911's and for them it is their gun of choice. I'm very aware of the reputation of 1911s jamming but at the same token I own a Kimber Micro Nine that has sent thousands of rounds down range without a hitch. I've even carried it on occasion. Generally, my edc is a striker fired Hellcat. I tell people shoot what's right for you. If it's what you like, it performs well, and it goes boom when you pull the trigger, then power to you.
the nicest shooting concealed carry gun ive shot was a Taurus Beretta92 clone in 380 the mag held 19-20 rnds! it shot fantastic for what it was!

In all seriousness, how the hell does James manage to get every 1911 he touches to be unreliable? I find that very hard to believe. I’ve owned a pretty cheap hunk of steel (Taurus) and not once did it ever malfunction more than one time. Used cheap steel cased ammunition on a cold February morning at 5°, one stovepipe. That’s it. Perhaps we need to consider operator error?

I understand that lower round count and weight aren’t in the 1911s favor. But In my opinion, most people can shoot even cheap 1911s out the box much better than any polymer gun. The trigger pull on even low end 1911s is lighter and crisper than most other guns. Hands down, I always shoot better with my 1911s. I have the Springfield micro 1911, but I generally carry my XDS 9mm most days. One of the main reasons being that I don’t feel nearly as bad when I drop or dirty up a polymer gun. But I WILL ALWAYS love the 1911 for it’s shooting characteristics.
My carry is a full size Rock Island Armory 1911(their rock series), it's produced locally here in the Philippines so it's almost half the price of a Glock but shoots way better than the stock trigger of a Glock. I currently use it for competition replacing only the recoil spring and rear sight.
Another well balanced and fair review from James. I like that a lot. When the jokes are put aside and something objectively good (or bad) shows up this guy tells the truth. That's all we really want.

Thank god for JM Browning. Ive heard non feed ramp 1911 can have trouble w hollow point. My modern smith and paras will feed anything. Just run 230 ball. Its what its made for. And works great in that form.

RIA BBR 3.10 45 ACP, double stack 10+1 yeah its all steel with a beefy grip no lightweight, very similar to the old Para P10 Warthog. Matter of fact can use Para hicap mags with a little Dremel work on the magazine catch slot. Factory ported, adjustable rear sights windage and elevation. Can use Para P10 grips with a little demel work. Street price around 600 bucks. Ive stripped it to frame polished all internals broke in with 300 rounds and it runs great. Seventies series.
Remember that the CZ P01 alloy frame is around 600$ and it also has an excellent trigger as well.

Oh buddy you gotta know this; 37 is close to 45 which is close to 55 which is close to the big 6 0. It will go by before you know it. Trust me I’m a 1911 guy. As far as carry I think what’s most important is that you are comfortable, competent and confident in the one you carry. For me it’s a Wilson Combat professional.
Hey James, a quick note on the slide release:
JMB designed it to be hit with the support thumb after inserting the fresh mag. It's not meant to be hit with your firing hand, like most modern handguns.
Yes, it's a slide stop, not a slide release.
@@jtinnac1895 look at a 1911. There's checkering/knurling on the top side of the slide release, it's put there to improve traction. It is absolutely intended to be used as a slide release, just not with the firing hand.
Being a 2011 you have to have some big ass mits to hit the slide stop with your firing hand. That is a common 2011 phenomenon. Most 2011's are used as competition guns and most of us have either a cut slide stop or non-lockback followers. Very few competitors utilizing it. With a 1911 and standard grip panels you can get your firing thumb on the pad of it.

James, I own quite a few 1911s and I've had nothing but good luck with mine. I can honestly say in the thousands of rounds thru all of them and have had next to nothing for issues. My Sig Scorpion 1911 is in my EDC rotation. I've literally had one problem with that one and it was a magazine. I clean an oil them more than any of my other guns granted but I can say that I, can can trust in them 100%.
That said this Bul Armory 1911 looks freaking awesome. I am going to their website right now to look at their products and see if there is an FFL near me that has one so that I can get one today or tomorrow. You are only the second person I've seen talk about it, the other one bring a guy that shoots at my local range and that was just a couple of weeks ago. Looked good, shot well from what I saw. Thanks for sharing.

I think the reality of carrying a 1911 is accepting that you aren’t [insert movie or war hero of choice here] - I often carry my single stack .45 1911, or my Kahr K40, wait for it... without any reloads. I don’t live in Chicago or Compton. It’s not a high crime area, I’ve carried for nearly a decade and only ever drawn down on someone on two occasions and never had to fire a shot. If I wind up in a situation where I need a full size high capacity optic mounted laser and flashlight equipped combat/competition firearm with two reloads and somewhere around 50 rounds of ammo.... there have been some eyebrow cocking life decisions made that led to that point. In my day to day travels the comfort and concealability of a single stack firearm inside the waistband simply cannot be beat. And at 200+ lbs, I’m not crying about a few extra ounces for a metal frame that I won’t notice until it’s in my hand contributing to a smoother, better, more accurate shooting experience. I’m no boomer, but with a bum knee, and a love for my 1911, I’ll happily sit on a porch in a rocking chair with some

I carry a Dan Wesson ECO in 9mm for the same reasons you’ve discovered here. It shoots amazing. It’s reliable. The only thing it lacks is capacity. Now I’m thinking hard about that Bul. 🤔

I’ve had more malfunctions from my G17 than any of my 1911’s. Starting from a highly customized Colt Gold Cup for bullseye shooting. An unmodified Gold cup I carried in South America as a duty gun. A Commander that I used as a CC gun until I used it in a defensive situation and it got “lost” by the sheriff’s department. A Commander to replace that, a Kimber PRo Carry, and a variety of Springfields...
I shot a range rental SA EMP and it was better at 5 7 10 and 15 yards than either my 17 or 19 both having red dots.

I always say, if Glock is such "perfection" why do you need to modify it to make it better? 1911. So bad it's only been around for 100+ years.
I owned a Glock for a week, absolute trash, I regret ever looking at or touching it. Got rid of it for a FNX 45 TAC of course. Yes, I carry that cow.
That’s ridiculous. This 1911 is more modified than any Glock. It’s technically not even a 1911.
The perfection tagline is stupid, yes. But for most shooters you don't really *need* to do anything to a glock. At the price point it should come with more durable sights, but that's it.
