Love it, Matt. I’ve been contemplating taking one of my film cameras along with me on more trips this year. Need to get my Minolta working (new battery and still won’t work), but may just lug the Canon around.
i had the same issue with my minolta.. well maybe the same but it was a connection issue with the battery terminal. and yeah take it along!! getting those photos back printed just feels different. maybe i'm just nostalgic haha

I’m not much hey. I just rely on the canon colours for the vlogs for ease of editing. Watch ‘dunna did it’s video on colour correction and that will help loads with colour profiles
Not really hey, i'm more landscape than anything but every now and then i've gotta shoot a ski thing or wildlife but not nearly enough to justify an R3
Although if it gets quite dark might be an issue. Also not sure feels like it’s not as good IQ as other lens but yeah for now it’s my main gimbal lens till I upgrade to RF
Tissues for sure. Also plasters and some bandages. Facial blotter for taking some portraits.
Never tried the blotter but I’ll give it a crack

A little tip: the R6 mk ii actually is sharper than the R. Or at least in my experience.
Yeah I agree. Depends what I’m shooting as to which body I use. The R has turned into the vlogging cam

Are you shooting in C-Log on the EOS R? I have one and cannot seem to find the right setting for the beer video quality. Trying to shoo the 4K crop

Interesting was actually planning to sell the RF24-105 STM Kit lens. But currently it’s light for my gimbal work
I use of for my gimbal work too.. it’s super handy and for the price and quality ya may aswell keep it aye!
