I just went online and designed a simple white T Shirt with "Intentionally Single" in black letters, front and center. And I am seriously considering ordering one. 🙂
as someone who will go 100 miles out of my way to help someone else and would never ask for any help myself, i 100% relate to this. the thing about treating everyone the way you would like to be treated is completely a recipe for hard times too.
It took me way too long to figure out that others don’t live by or recognize the golden rule… unless they do and some people actually just want to be treated poorly.
So important, I have to remember that in the future, thanks for this video! ❤ I’m burnt out right now and had to make a difficult decision to take time alone and start living at my own pace. I needed this or I would have crashed hard very soon.
ha- I get a clear visual image of people bleeding us dry. i used to have company over and throw parties, but now I don't. there's never been alcohol or coffee in my house and the food is gluten free and minimally processed. my husband and I stopped getting restaurant food after his heart attack 13 years ago. our lack of entertaining frees up more time for healthy alone time. we are allowed to ignore cultural norms and keep ourselves as vibrant as possible by guarding our alone time.
I love the part about keeping yourselves as vibrant as possible by guarding your alone time. It does seem like ignoring social norms allows us to live a healthier lifestyle as so many “normal” things seem unhealthy.
I really like your channel name. I like that you said, uninterupted. Thats pretty important in order to be able to recharge
Thank you! Yes, uninterrupted is extremely important.

There have definitely been times in my life when I’d have loved one of those! 😆
I love this video ❤
Alone time to recharge and self regulate.
Thank you! 😊

Thanks for watching! 😊 I hope the burnout gets better soon & that you have plenty of recharge time.
Nice to meet a fellow visual thinker. :)
Same here! 😁 It’s funny how obvious it must be that I’m primarily a visual thinker. I have inner verbal stuff going on too, but def more visual.

Apples and almonds sound good to me!
I only have water and coffee and oat milk to drink too :)
Sometimes tea but just the essentials 🙂

Too much can be as bad as not enough. As in all things, balance is good.
