Thanks for watching! Honourable mentions would have to be Vaati (MC) and Ganondorf (TP). What're your favourites? Follow me on Twitter! twitter.com/zeltik
I think Twilight Princess's Ganondorf fight deserves a spot on this list, and here's why: He is, in my opinion, the most tryhard that Ganon could ever have gotten. After his plans of taking over the kingdom are virtually ruined by a child, he is sent to be executed. He's then straight up stabbed in the gut and ultimately survives, and kills a sage. Then he's banished to the twlight realm. After all this, he manipulates Zant, has him take over Hyrule in twilight, leaving Link to save everyone. His final boss battle is just so monumental because of his devotion to never give up. While most fights end after he turns into his dark beast form, he manages to overcome this, and continue to battle. The last stab in Ganondorf is just jaw dropping, his screams of pain echoing into the silence of the land. He then GETS UP WITH THE MASTER SWORD STILL IN HIM and says his final words, and dies standing up. My favorite boss battle battle in Zelda, and just breathtakingly cinematic as well.
This is the best explanation of why, in all honesty. Might not have been the number one iteration of Ganondorf in terms of depth as a character, and whatnot; but the fight itself was pretty epic. Plus, that cutscene after Arbiter's Grounds is A+.
For me, the problem with Twilight Princess's Ganondorf is that he shows up so late in the story that he's been made out to be an afterthought in the game. I feel like the game would have had a better ending if Ganondorf wasn't in it and Zant was the final boss. Also, I feel like the cutscene before the Zant fight was one of the biggest negative wtf moments in Zelda history. He was introduced as a ruthlell tyrant, and later in Link's first encounter with him it was shown that he could exert control over beings that; by all sense of logic, should be able to destroy him in an instant. I was expecting this character to be along the likes of Majora if we got time to know Majora as a character instead of just a force, but instead you use the Boss Key, and not even a minute into the cutscene he reveals his face and immediately starts throwing a tantrum (yeah yeah 'the face beneath the mask' ha ha Nintendo you're so clever). It would have been better if the mask served no other purpose than to protect him from the light that would otherwise destroy him, instead of being a means of giving literal form to a metaphor that shouldn't have been a part of the equation. Holy crap tat was a Zant rant...Why did I make a Zant rant in a discussion about Ganon?
@@devonm042690 I hear this argument a lot in Twilight Princess, where Ganondorf randomly shows up, but it never bothered me imo. It explains both what happened to Ganondorf after Ocarina and how Zant became so powerful, as well as makes the reveal of Midna as the Twilight Princess better (cause if she was and Ganon wasn't in the game, then Zant would have had a bunch of powers out of nowhere and could've taken over Hyrule at anytime). On top of this, he was foreshadowed after Arbiters Grounds making his appearence a little less random, but I can see the frustration.
My favorite is Ganondorf in Twilight Princess when he has his sword. Why? Cause there isn't some giant monster crap, floating magic blasts, no no no. Its a mano a mano straight up sword fight, with no interfering. With a nice backdrop of the weather and Ganondorf even dies with some grace.
Me too, I'm about to face him for the first time, but I don't find ocarina of time so cool compared to the other games, for example Skyward Sword and TP. Or Wind Waker. Damn, Hyrule Warriors is cooler. I know it's an important game in the franchise, but I was born after 2000, so I prefer Twilight Princess. That game... Oh that game
The story was fucking amazing, and the final boss was epic. Puppet Zelda, followed by Ganon that you have to fight as a wolf, then Midna uses the fused shadow to attack Ganon and teleports Link and Zelda outside to Hyrule field, only to see Hyrule Castle literally explode. Ganondorf rides out of the cloud of dust and holds Midna's helmet above his head, crumbling it in his hands, making us hate him even more. This is followed by an epic horseback fight involving Zelda, and then a one on one show down that is the best Ganondorf showdown ever. Not to mention the ending scenes of the game that follow that are literally amazing.
I just love the emotion when Ganon holds up Midnas crown in victory, the music builds and I know at least I yelled at Zelda to get on Epona cuz you NEEDED to beat his ass
Not sure why TP isn't more regarded. Amazing atmosphere, great bosses, and an amazing three stage boss final. Plus, Zant battle forcing you to use every item was insanely cool.
My personal list: 5: Yuga Ganon, A Link Between Worlds 4: Demise, Skyward Sword 3: Calamity Ganon, Breath of the Wild 2: Majora, Majora's Mask 1: Ganondorf, Twilight Princess
I’d like to know what you like about the calamity Ganon fight, cuz imo it was terrible. I think the best part of it was when the champions all shout their lines and shoot him.
Seriously, nobody gives Bellum-Linebeck enough credit. The music, the story and the absolute plot twist make it so special. And its not a mainstream Ganon fight like in almost every Zelda game. Like, how often does he want to die before noticing he isnt a challenge for Link?
I had to scroll way too long to find this- BellumBeck is such a good final fight for that game. The buildup to it is a great end point for Linebeck's arc and the fight against him is tense. And the music is just phenomenal.
Ganon doesn’t really have a choice in the matter. The Curse of Demise is as much a curse on Link, Zelda, and Hyrule as it is on Ganon, who is doomed to be resurrected time and time again, filled with Demise’s hatred and burning with a lust for power. And Ganon has come extremely close to winning on numerous occasions: botw, alttp, and tp. In botw he actually did win, but link’s revival spelled his current form’s doom, though the Calamity may actually be a puppet of Ganondorf’s malice, according to the botw 2 trailer. But Bellum is a cool boss, and bringing back Ganon after the wind waker’s spectacular ending would have been a mistake. I also have a soft spot for Malludus, Spirit Tracks needs more love.
Well, that last bit is the tragic part. He doesn’t have a say in the matter, as little say in it as Link and Zelda do. He’s eternally doomed to be evil, to conquer, to destroy. And he’s doomed to lose to Link and Zelda. Every. Single. Time. Every victory he gains will only ever be fleeting. He must suffer such a fate for eternity. All because Demise was spiteful about losing to a human. That’s how pathetic this whole thing is. Millennia of death, destruction, and the rebirth of these three. All because Demise was a sore loser.
For me I really loved Twilight Princess' final boss fight, it goes from possessed Zelda, to beast battle, horseback battle and finally the sword duels with a badass boss theme.
The main reason I don’t like that final fight is it takes place in an area you’ve journeyed through so many times. It just wasn’t as cinematic or epic feeling as wind wakers for me
My top 5: 5) Demise: The sword fight was climactic and epic especially with the thunderstorm at the end. A good ending for the beautiful journay that is Skywards Sword. And it had a higher difficulty. 4) Majora: The darkness, sadness and twistedness of the game have a good climax in this battle. While the second phase is not that much, the first and second one emphasize Majora's unfathomable evil in a cold and then in a chaotic way. 3) Ganondorf from Ocarina of Time: The first phase was already good but the second one had an increadibly epic atmosphere with awesome music. But the castle escape in between and the arbitrarily low difficulty made it much less enjoyable. 2) Vaati from the Minish Cap: I just like Vaati and the battles felt climactic while being accompanied by awesome music. A good ending for a really nice game. You can also see how Vaati turns more and more into a demon and he appears the more intimidating. 1) Ganondorf and his four phases from Twilight Princess: Every phase is awesome and they emphasized the series revolutionary mechanics for a last time in the great show down. It is an epic battle and a worthy climax for a game that made you truely feel like being in a legend. All that with fitting music of course.
Love how I keep seeing mention of the Fishing Rod in Twilight Princess being something you can use to break the final fight against Ganondorf, and is thus one reason that fight shouldn't be on the list, yet I haven't seen any comments mentioning how you can do the same to Demise with the Bug Net.
"Bear in mind that these are my own personal opinions." Oh, okay, in that case I predict ... no Twilight Princess, and Wind Waker is in the number 1 spot.
Felipe Brandes I'm saying how every single Zelda top 5/top 10 has OOT somewhere, despite OOT being old, dated and not that great compared to newer Zeldas. If anything I'm a reverse boomer for saying a game boomers like isn't that good
Wow, I can’t believe Twilight Princess wasn’t on this list. By far the most epic and badass fight in the whole series with four phases!! The final dual especially is the definition of stellar.
You must really dislike Twilight Princess. That final boss battle was the best in the entire franchise. It had it all from the classic volley the energy ball to fighting Ganon in his beast form to battling against Ganon on horseback for the first time to the straight up sword duel. It literally combined all of the elements that made just about every battle on your list and also added some more to make it better
@@szarekhthesilentking7043 he included A Link to the Past Ganon. This Ganon only got a brief mention and just randomly showed up at the very end of the game. In TP he at least got some back story after beating Arbitor's Grounds
@@blazeuchiha2169 in my personal opinion, the lttp one was not that good either. So Idk his reasoning, but I didn't like the dead man's volley in the tp one. It doesn't feel good for me, so I like the lttp more.
Honestly I think ganondorf (tp) version is best final boss in the series as far as I've played through em so I'm wondering where you'd place it on the total list of final bosses in the legend of Zelda series
My list has got to be 5: Majora 4: Ganon from ocarina of time because that is a classic fight 3: Ganondorf from Wind Waker because the ending was very satisfying and I personally had a lot of hatred towards ganondorf in that game especially due to The King dying. 2: Demise because I feel as though at the time it was a very difficult fight for me. It was a good Zelda game for me and a good look into the universe’s origins seeing demise and understanding why Ganondorf is like how he is. Demise is the literal demon king. The beginning of it all. 1: Ganondorf from TP. TP is my second favourite Zelda (botw being my favourite) and he was mysterious and not known of until later in the game. Santa was the big villain and you built a friendship with midna. When she had almost been killed you hated zant until you realised zant was being controlled by Ganondorf this whole time. Locked away in the twilight realm and seen as a god to zant. The fight itself was very fun and is one of my favourite boss fights ever. A sword fight to the death and the final blow was satisfying. Hearing his scream and realising you’ve done it. You’ve beaten the game (an amazing one in my opinion). You feel like you’ve frighten for something, not only to be the hero but to get revenge for everything that happened to your friends. A truly great fight.
The really cool thing about Fierce Deity is what it stands for. Every mask obtained in the game has a backstory and many of the masks are a product of what Majora has done to its wearer. Other masks have the power of unity and strength together in them. The idea that the masks Link recieve from saving people turns into a mask so powerful it easily defeats evil is such a good plotline and a really underestimated one in this game. Majora's Mask is my favourite game for so many reasons and this is certainly one of them!
Every phase is perfection. Fighting Zelda herself possessed by Ganondorf, fighting Beast Ganon as a wolf, the epic horse battle, and a good old fashioned 1v1 battle to the death.
In that fight, when he goes into his beast form, I was only able to hear "virginia" over and over, it was pretty funny, but the battle itself was incredible
My list: #5: yuga-ganon, a link between worlds #4: ganon, ocarina of time #3: ganondorf, the wind waker #2: malladus, spirit tracks #1: ganondorf, twilight princess honourable mentions: Vaati's wrath, the minish cap, bellumbeck, the phantom hourglass, demise, skyward sword, gannon, the legend of zelda, majora's wrath, majora's mask
UncomfortablyClose For me 5. Sans undertale 4. Bowser 3. Voldemort from lego Harry Potter years 5-7 for the IOS and Android. 2. Ganon (Link: the faces of evil) 1. Omega Garfield
9:20 *long demented laugh* This is the laugh of a broken man. For some reason the long build up to you saying this is the sound of a broken man is just funny
Yeah, I laughed at that part. He sounded like a psychologist giving an evaluation of a psychopathic maniac, whose breaking point was being recreated by actors, lol.
Malladus, anyone? The transition from phase 1 to phase 2 had one of the best sequences and the music was just jaw dropping. All that feeling of hope while you and Zelda work together and deliver the final blow together.
the entire finale of the game is perfect, the packman train thing is so fun and intense, the train boss is so sick and then both phases are so fun and its done with zelda and link, all ending with the final blow being dealt by link and zelda, which works so perfectly as its equally zeldas story as it is links
I remembered playing Orcarina of time. For every boss fight I would run around like a chicken shit hiding trying to figure out how to beat this shit, then 5 mins later start attacking haha...such a fun ass game.
I remember the first time fighting Bongo Bongo in the Shadow Temple. You get into his room and see nothing. Then your head starts to fill with random images like wtf is about to happen. But then you see the big eye pop up and scares the shit out of you. Shadow Temple is my second favorite temple in OOT. It had the best atmosphere and music. Fire Temple would be my favorite in OOT.
I personally didn’t like the shadow temple, just was never really a fan of the vibe. Imo, bongo bongo is the hardest boss in oot. My favorite temple was by far the spirit temple. You have to use nearly everything you’ve accumulated on you’re adventure to complete it, even your child and adult forms. It’s like a final test to see if you’re really good enough to take on the king of evil.
The feels I had when I first defeated WW Ganondorf as a kid, brings tears to my eyes even now, realizing how sad and cruel his kingdom suffered in the desert. I actually wept when finally defeating him knowing it was the end for his and his peoples suffering. A man who fought tooth and nail to give his people a better life, ended up dying for nothing. QQ
I agree with your list almost completely, except one thing: that Twilight Princess has one of the best fights out there. Now I may hold onto OoT's Ganon for the sake of nostalgia in addition to how great it was, but Twilight Princess had one of the most versatile and relentless Ganondorf's we've ever seen. To lead up to it, the climb to Ganon's Tower. It's nothing revolutionary to start but certain moments made it shine. The appearance of two unexpected ally appearances: the Bublin King and the Hylian squad. King Bulbin was a constant enemy throughout the series but to see him unexpectedly take your side and uttering actual lines made my jaw drop. Suddenly this boss suddenly clicked as he stopped fighting you because you bested him in every form of combat he was able to instead follow you. Then the Hylian squad you've assisted in so many quests assisted even you in your own quest, despite never asking for them. Then Ganon himself. He seemingly has already won: He's captured the castle, he has Zelda under his control, and the Twilight Realm is at his disposal. He makes you fight the Princess in a cinematic and reminiscent way that feels like Ocarina of Time. Failing that, he actually STARTS with his beast mode to take you down. And the awesome thing about this? You're able to fight him in Wolf form, something I DID NOT expect to make it to the final boss fight. I was ecstatic. Then you fight him on horse! Something that has still never been done any other game, despite how big horse riding is in it! (You could maybe count BotW, but horse v horse fighting still is only TP) Then to top it all off, you duel with the man himself in one of the coolest sword fights I think exists in the Zelda series. This is why I rate TP's Ganondorf fight as one of my favorites, if not my overall favorite.
I was hoping that Ganondorf from Twilight Princess would at least be at second place on your list. I mean it is the longest Ganon fight in the history of Zelda and in my opinion the best, especially the third and last phase of the intense battle where Link and Ganondorf go 1vs1.
yeah the 4 diffrent stages made it not only very long but also brought a great diversity. I also loved the last fight being a 1v1 sword fight, altought you could cheat a little with the fishing rod.
One Hundred Percent Agreed; even if Ganondorf's presence in Twilight Princess (Spoiler!) wasn't a huge one, per say; the final boss fight certainly brought a dramatic flare to it that elevates it to my favorite final boss in the series, without a shadow of a doubt. Still, at least Breath of the Wild's final showdown doesn't have a place here...
Twighlight princess ganon is honestly insane, once you put that blade in his chest you just get a true sense of accomplishment. He walks at you slow but you feel his presence and the whole game comes down to that moment its just brilliant
Yuganon was kind of meh to me, he had so much more personality as yuga, and a fight with an all powerful evil portrait wizard would’ve been a lot more unique than a rehash of ganon, ( I really wish that we could fight bosses as a drawing, like you see a drawing of a huge monster on the far wall at the beginning of the dungeon and the boss room leads to a dead end with a slit for drawing link, which leads to a fight with the drawing boss)
That's It! The true final list! I think TP Ganondorf is a incredible boss battle but not better than Majoras or OoT Ganon, Majora is a Boss you really want to defeat, during all the game, you have to see everyone suffering because of the actions of Skull Kid in control of Majoras, even if you fix some problems, you will never be able to fix everything before the moon came down, you Play your Ocarina, and all your efforts disappear, you really want to fix everything but you never can, defeating Majora with Fierce Deity it makes you feel that you have avenged everyone who has been harmed by Majora's actions. OoT Ganon don't even need explanation, the first one Ganon of all series, a brilliant and evil mind, one step further to Link in the entire Game, everything that happens as he wants and you want to end his plans, as Zeldik said in the video is the most cinematic fight in the entire franchise, the soundtrack, the lack of lighting, the final tension, simply one of the best Bossbattle of all games, if they made films about OoT and Majoras they would certainly be worthy of Oscar if well produced.
Ganondorf in twilight princess would have been one of my choices. You fight him in multiple stages but the sword fight at the end where you kill him with a stab in the chest is poetic as that the same wound he previously survived. And seeing him still standing even when dead just goes to show how badass he is.
I can agree with OOT Ganon being number one. Theres so much feeling packed into the single fight. Zelda crying out every time her hero is beaten down. The crackling lightning brewing around illuminating the battlefield for a moment before its shrouded in darkness again only with the sacred light of the light arrows, the burning hellscape around Link that just barely offer varying lights to the battlefield and the piercing eyes of that monster trying its hardest to blought out the light that's in the way of its goals. Truly a fight for the ages between what I like to call Shounen Link and his Shounen Ganon. While oot isn't my favorite zelda game by any means, it is without a doubt my favorite final boss fight all around.
Love how you explain about the bosses and such. Here’s my Top 5 Final Bosses 5. Calamity Ganon 4. Ganon (Wind Waker) 3. Majora 2. Ganon (OoT) 1. Ganondorf (Twilight Princess)
I honestly love the twilight princess final boss if you consider all phases of the fight as the final boss the whole thing with Zelda being possessed I was not expecting at all and the fighting beast Ganon using wolf link was super kick ass to me seeing who is the strongest beast and midna is almost killed by Ganondorf, fighting on horseback and then the one on one sword fight and all of the music is amazing ti me with the great build up to ganondorf as well as being helped by the hero of time himself (hero’s shade) with the skills he teaches you it’s just so awesome to me
Sad that twilight princess’s Ganon/Ganondorf fight didn’t make it, I loved it. from the castle fight to the horseback chase to the final one on one duel. It was long, challenging at times, and oh so epic. I feel it was very well structured as a final fight. you see this highly confident, manipulative, evil, man finally beaten down and broken, clinging on for dear life at his end. only to see the minion he manipulated for so long deliver the final blow. Zant didn’t actually fight Ganondorf, but in the end he killed the one who betrayed him. There was no righteousness in Ganondorf’s death, it was purely his own greed for power that killed him in the end, not the hero. That to me was brilliant writing
Ocarina of time is one of my favorite games all time, It was nice seeing ganon from oot placed here. The rush of escaping just for him to come out of the rubble and turn into a monster really added a good ending.
I came back to this video two years later and this list is still very accurate. Also, fighting Demise has a very similar atmosphere as fighting Majora, everything is on the line. If you fail, everything is done for.
“There’s No way he’s going to hold me back again! This time we fight together!” Till this day Navi line in OoT fight against Ganon still brings me goosebumps. That part got me even more hype to defeat Ganon lol
My opinion is that boss battle kinda sucked..as I said this is only my opinion, but a sword battle, horse archery, and another battle.. just felt drawn out and like they had no ideas for a finale battle so they just mashed a bunch of things together.
Mighty Shady makes two of us! I fucking pitty my own taste.. also I did state it was just my opinion, botw bosses where no better and felt bland ass lame.. so I guess crap villains and bosses and Zelda’s things...
Because smash bros makes non Zelda fans think that only link Zelda and captain falcon are characters in Zelda, no Midna, vaati, ghirahim, or skull kid, but 8 sword lords from a just now getting popular franchise is completely justified.
Thanks for showing A Link to The Past some love. It's my favorite game in the series. Even though the world is not as big and is not as complex as some of the newer Zeldas, The dungeons in A link to the past were just so good.
Ocarina of Time Ganon will always be my number one favorite memorable final boss, I just remember how epic it felt fighting beast Ganon with nothing but darkness and lightning illuminating Ganon, and that music. Back then it was more epic on smaller tvs too since it was harder to see Ganon
Nice work on the video here! For me, I'd have: 5) Calamity/Dark Beast Ganon - Not for the fight, but mainly the amazing music, and cutscenes and stuff. Plus the calamity phase is decent in master mode. 4) Ganondorf (twilight princess) - I enjoyed both phases, and then the ending where you stab him with the zant neck snap, is just really good. 3) Demise - Generally, just due to how dramatic it seems, and the fact that the combat is very well done, and using the skyward strikes with lighting is hella fun. 2) Vaati - Its a pretty damn hard boss, but do-able either way. I mainly like it, due to the fact that vaati starts of as a clever, but evil picori, but ends up becoming a demonic eye thing, and you fight him over the process. Plus its a fun fight. 1) Majora - I really really enjoyed the music. Enjoyed obliterating him. Also liked the pressure, due to the fact the world is literally about to end.
Hey Zeltik. You know what would be a cool video? A top 5/10 video on the best Castles in the Zelda franchise. Particularly in the aspect of how well the castles would fair in an assault. A crossover with Shadiversity would be siiiick.
I'm just gonna go ahead and say that I grew up on skyward sword, so I was happy that Demise made this list. As soon as I saw this video, I was saying to myself "please let Demise be on here" and he was! Thanks for putting him on here!
Wow grew up on that one? I would love to see it from your point of view. I personally rank Skyward Sword as the worst Zelda game. I was born in 84 and beat the first two zelda's by 92. Then aLTTP changed the game, then OoT changed it again. Now BoTW blew my freaking mind by going back to the roots of throwing you in to an open world and doing whatever you want. So SS was very dull and held your hand the entire time so I very much disliked it. Now I'm not in any way trying to argue with you or tell you that you're wrong for the record I just find it interesting being raised on different Zeldas give you different tastes on the game. Did you like BoTW? Which other games do you appreciate?
@@LudaChez TBH it's the only one I've played besides getting to the beginning of the Water Temple in OoT 3D. But in ny opinion, I think all Zelda games are unique in their own way, like how Skyward sword has you going through the sky on a quest to uncover the surface and find out how to defeat Demise, and BotW has you going whatever route you want to defeat the Calamity, even by going straight to him from the start! Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that all of the games have something no other game has, and that is what makes each one amazing.
Skyward Sword was my first Zelda game, and I loved it. Since I started out with the first game in the timeline, it felt like a actual story unfolding. Demise’s curse was my favorite part about that fight, after you’ve beaten the demon king, he curses his wrath, Link’s spirit, and Zelda’s bloodline to a never ending cycle of reincarnation. I always found myself saying “looks like that curse didn’t turn out as you planned Demise!” Every time I beat a new game. Demise is my personal favorite final boss because of the significance he holds in my memories of the game.
I always thought of Girahim as Fi's evil counterpart, their character design kind of has the same ''feel'' and they both are spirits, immortal beings, living inside their master's sword. Anyways, I personally enjoyed the Ganon fight at the very end of Oracle of Ages/Seasons. Sure, we only fight against a mindless beast, but knowing that this fight is the culmination of TWO games, sixteen dungeons and three ''final'' bosses (being Veran, Onox and Twinrova) just makes it special.
I honestly think that Ganondorf in Twilight Princess was the best because of the several different stages and forms for you to fight. I find this to be no just fun, but absolutely epic! (Also, the music is without a doubt, Amazing!)
I loved the fight with Demise and him as a character so much that I want him to return in a future Zelda game. Not as his reincarnation of Ganondorf but as himself.
TP Ganondorf probably deserved a spot here. When I think about what part of the Zelda series is my favorite, I never have one concrete answer. I realized that part of the reason as to why that is is because I love all of the Zelda games for completely different reasons. I love the quick accessibility of ALBW and the fact that you can pick it up and finish over a couple play sessions, the dark story of MM, the unique and lovable environment and feel of WW, etc. For TP, I love the combat. I love the move unlock system, and how satisfying it is to use those new moves that you took the time to find to absolutely destroy your enemies, zipping around to their backs and slashing them, shield bashing and then using the helm splitter, finishing them off with a stab in the chest, and then pressing the A button at just the right time to do the show off animation of sheathing your sword. It’s awesome, and using that all on a four completely different staged boss that just REFUSES to die is so satisfyingly empowering.
1. Ganon (OoT) 2. Ganondorf (TP) 3. Malladus 4. Ganondorf (TWW) 5. Demise Honestly I would've loved to put TP Ganondorf in the top spot for how goddamn climactic and cinematic it is, but the final duel is somewhat spoiled by the fact that you can cheese the crap out of him by constantly repeating one simple combo. I don't rank the Majora fight that highly for the same reason; anything that can be cheesed is much less satisfying.
Link's Awakening had one of the most overlooked end bosses in the series. The variety in its design and the way it makes use of so many skills/items you gathered throughout the game is amazing. One of the worst is Breath of the Wilds and Majora's Mask if you have the Deity mask.
@@Mr.Foxhat BOTW's Dark Beast Ganon fight was so easy, that when everyone was saying it was easy, when I beat Calamity Ganon the first time and went into phase 2, I was _so_ underwhelmed that I almost got myself and my horse killed by the ponk laser of death.
After all these years, I never knew one could re-direct the big ball of super-charged golden rays Ganondorf fires simply by charging a spin in the first phase of OOT x)
Before the game came out, I think we all expected Breath of the Wild to earn a place on this list. The buildup and journey is absolutely incredible, and then Calamity Ganon is an absolute joke, Dark Beast even more so.
Agreed. The only good part of the fight was when the floor broke at the beginning and Link flew down with the paraglider in a sick cutscene. The end was just target practice lmao
With the Divine Beasts+Master Sword+Hylian Shield, he looks like another fucking enemy(He caught me off guard the first time, I didn't have food and I was done hearts.-.), Dark Beast is legit as hard as a Red Moblin.
I fought Majora with the Zora Mask, it was especially difficult the first stage because of its fire beam, but past that, while still hard, was an amazing, if a bit slow, one-to-one fight.
i’m so so happy you put Denise at #2. Almost NO ONE on this platform talks about him. The fight is extremely cinematic and intense. The gameplay is also so sick with the 2nd phase being super fun figuring out to use a powered version of the skyward strike to stun him. And when you finally do the motion to stab him and he dodges it? Makes the fight feel extremely close and epic.
I personally think that Demise from Skyward Sword was proably the hardest and the most epic final bosses, (maybe just because it was the first zelda game I played) but it just feels so awesome when you go in the portal.
Id agree mostly but swap windwaker ganondorf and ocarina of times gannon simply because I think he showed more of a devious personality and more reason to keep fighting
I think Gannondorf from Twilight Princes deserves a spot just for how determined and powerful he feels, i know he was kind shoved into TP just fore the sake of having a Gannondorf fight but it was explained why he was in TP and how he is linked to zant and the twilight realm. The 4 phases of the fight aginst him are all incredibly cool. He possesses Zelda and throws balls of energy at you Oot style, dives at you and blasts you with a massive triforce. The second phase is even cooler as he charges at you as a colossal boar and you wrestle him to the ground then slice his wounded gut.chasing him on horseback in hyrule field then finally fighting him on on one. It truly feels epic. Not to mention that when you finally plunge the master sword into his wound he gets up, says his final words then straight up dies standing up. An epic end to an epic villain. He docent replace Oot WW or Majora for me but i would probably put him on par with Demise and above Lttp. Thats just my personal opinion from my experiences with these games i loved all the bosses on this list and think they were all cool as hell
I never thought about the fact that canonically the first version of Ganon is from Ocarina, and you saw him come into existence with your own eyes at the start of the battle. Pretty dope
I loved the final boss fight in Twilight Princess, especially the duel. I think it a lot of what made the last Wind Waker duel so fun and expanded on it. I did also live the final fight in WW for the same reasons you mentioned here, too. It wasn't just the fight that made it, but the story and struggle that lead up to it. The final goodbye to the King of Red Lions (and seeing the lifeless boat in the end of credits) was probably one of the saddest endings I've seen in a game. The only other time I cried as much in a Zelda game was in Majora's Mask. That game was so full of sadness and grief.
My favorite has always been Windwaker Ganon. The speech he gives at the end makes him more human and give you insight into his motivation. A misguided king with fate working against him, who wanted something better for his people.
I love how ganon from ocarina of time isn’t explained in any other way other than “Ganon”. That’s makes it feel soooo awsome! Like your fighting the one, the only, big bad Ganon!!! Thx for pointing that out! Very cool.
Demise is one of my favorite final boss fights as well. I think he was so much fun to beat. And I had beaten that game in both modes countless of times. Another one of my favorite final boss fights is BOTW. I really love beating Ganon in that game. Plus he was one final boss that was too easy to beat. Just like Demise was. And I had more problems trying to beat the Blight Ganons for the first time beating them. Than I did with the real Ganon.
Then you should try not rescuing any Spirit Beasts at all and fight Ganon like that, it can be really hard. You have to fight all 4 Blights and then Ganon who has full health this time
And i thought i was the only one ever recognice the lack of a "prefix" for the Ganon fight in OOT is a damn cool thing. Small detail but i love it so much
I see lots of love for TP Ganon. I agree with that. TP combat is my fav cause of the skills you learn. Finding out and using flashy skills to defeat enemies and of course ganon was my favorite thing to do in tp.
Thanks for watching!
Honourable mentions would have to be Vaati (MC) and Ganondorf (TP). What're your favourites?

In my opinion twilight princess had the best end boss(es).
My fav would be Demise
Honestly, the Link to the Past one was pretty bad
For me, Twilight Princess's finally boss was the best!
SpadeZap agreed
I think Twilight Princess's Ganondorf fight deserves a spot on this list, and here's why:
He is, in my opinion, the most tryhard that Ganon could ever have gotten.
Game was great, but that boss fight was not only lacking, but it was way too drawn out for how simple it was.
In addition, I'm pretty sure that the sword that he fights Link with is the very sword that he was stabbed with.

RaginDXDemon don’t forget how cool you look with the Shade’s techniques
Well, you still do have the pong game and beast Ganon, as well as horseback
Same with skyward sword
I think I accidentally glitched that boss.
I hit him in the back, but it registered as a hit on his weakspot on the front.
I agree. A man on man sword fight feels a lot more personal than BIG MONSTER.

Mighty Shady same here brother... so glad that others feel the same way I do about TP

Personally I'd say Twilight Princess was my favourite Final Boss. It was a long one but it just felt so good to do.
Dude the whole series of battles was amazing. Possessed Zelda, beast ganon, horseback, and then a duel.....
Shit now I wanna play it 😂😂😂😂
The story was fucking amazing, and the final boss was epic.
Ennio Paone the horseback one is fun if you do it right, I really liked it, but it was still my least favorite of the four.
The horseback fight was a pain in the ass, however I did love the simplicity of the final sword fight
Not sure why TP isn't more regarded. Amazing atmosphere, great bosses, and an amazing three stage boss final. Plus, Zant battle forcing you to use every item was insanely cool.
My personal list:
5: Yuga Ganon, A Link Between Worlds
4: Demise, Skyward Sword
3: Calamity Ganon, Breath of the Wild
2: Majora, Majora's Mask
1: Ganondorf, Twilight Princess
I like it, tho I’d probably replace 3 with OoT. BOTW just doesn’t have the fear other Ganons emit
Calamity Ganon was lame. Divine beasts take out half his health in the first form, the rest of it is super easy to beat and the second form is a joke
I’d like to know what you like about the calamity Ganon fight, cuz imo it was terrible. I think the best part of it was when the champions all shout their lines and shoot him.
Calamity Ganon 😂😂😂😂
Same, except I'd personally put Wind Waker Ganon for 3rd place.
To bad he’s in a bad game 😎
Well, that last bit is the tragic part. He doesn’t have a say in the matter, as little say in it as Link and Zelda do. He’s eternally doomed to be evil, to conquer, to destroy. And he’s doomed to lose to Link and Zelda. Every. Single. Time. Every victory he gains will only ever be fleeting. He must suffer such a fate for eternity. All because Demise was spiteful about losing to a human. That’s how pathetic this whole thing is. Millennia of death, destruction, and the rebirth of these three. All because Demise was a sore loser.
@@thegrapethief5514 And in one of the OOT branches, he does win. Which leads to the original trilogy.

My top 5:
5) Demise: The sword fight was climactic and epic especially with the thunderstorm at the end.
I agree with this list
If you’re like me, and you grinded to get all the masks, Majora is the easiest boss in the game.

You must really dislike Twilight Princess. That final boss battle was the best in the entire franchise. He said it would be an honorable mention in the comments
My list has got to be
5: Majora
4: Ganon from ocarina of time because that is a classic fight
3: Ganondorf from Wind Waker because the ending was very satisfying and I personally had a lot of hatred towards ganondorf in that game especially due to The King dying.
I like your explanation. I also really want to see your version of Twilight Princess where Santa is the big villain!
agreed I never played majora but it seemed good
The really cool thing about Fierce Deity is what it stands for.
My favorite final fight is Ganodorf from Twilight Princess. a real toe to toe with the king of evil, AND THAT BATTLE THEME THO!!!
Its a really epic battle, my second or first favourite final boss
Every phase is perfection. Fighting Zelda herself possessed by Ganondorf, fighting Beast Ganon as a wolf, the epic horse battle, and a good old fashioned 1v1 battle to the death.
He is ugly as fuck though, demise looks so badass
In that fight, when he goes into his beast form, I was only able to hear "virginia" over and over, it was pretty funny, but the battle itself was incredible

For every boss fight I would run around like a chicken shit hiding trying to figure out how to beat this shit, then 5 mins later start attacking haha...such a fun ass game.

srsly, i love that. TP was my fav. zelda game. The music, the unique/epic fights, the story... ahh...
Twilight Princess had the best final boss

I accept this list

My favourite boss is Bellum from Phantom Hourglass
👏Where👏is👏Twilight👏Princess👏
Nice video bud
My opinion is that boss battle kinda sucked..as I said this is only my opinion, but a sword battle, horse archery, and another battle.. just felt drawn out and like they had no ideas for a finale battle so they just mashed a bunch of things together.
@@codyrisling1718 I pity your taste
Mighty Shady makes two of us! I fucking pitty my own taste.. also I did state it was just my opinion, botw bosses where no better and felt bland ass lame.. so I guess crap villains and bosses and Zelda’s things...
@@mightyshady1016 I agree with him
1. Ganondorf -Twilight Princess
2. Ganondorf - Wind Waker
3. Vaati - Minish Cap
Why does everyone forget about Minish Cap?
Trevor Grover It’s not that popular which is rather unfortunate
@@agenericguy1014 it's a very good game but it's not very popular
Because it’s a gameboy game. People just don’t really consider portable games as all that epic.
Because smash bros makes non Zelda fans think that only link Zelda and captain falcon are characters in Zelda, no Midna, vaati, ghirahim, or skull kid, but 8 sword lords from a just now getting popular franchise is completely justified.
It's a shame. Minish cap was so fun. The oracle games were good too.
For me, I'd have:
5) Calamity/Dark Beast Ganon - Not for the fight, but mainly the amazing music, and cutscenes and stuff.
That would be mine except 4 would be OOT

Hey Zeltik. You know what would be a cool video? A top 5/10 video on the best Castles in the Zelda franchise. Particularly in the aspect of how well the castles would fair in an assault. A crossover with Shadiversity would be siiiick.
Yes, dungeons rock!
Do the top five castles in Zelda
I loved twilight princess so much. It had some of the best bosses. Including the final. I loved it
I'm just gonna go ahead and say that I grew up on skyward sword, so I was happy that Demise made this list.
I always thought Koloktos was awesome. A giant ancient being coming to life, swinging at it with its own sword, using your whip, it was so cool.
9:58 let's just have a casual conversation as ganondorf is about to cut my head off
1. Ganon (OoT)
2. Ganondorf (TP)
3. Malladus
4. Ganondorf (TWW)
5. Demise
Honestly I would've loved to put TP Ganondorf in the top spot for how goddamn climactic and cinematic it is, but the final duel is somewhat spoiled by the fact that you can cheese the crap out of him by constantly repeating one simple combo.
Even then, Breath Wild's 1st phase of the fight was dope. 2nd phase sucked though.
The botw dlc boss was good. It made me actually learn it haha.
@@DaltonGoesSlow I haven't gotten to the Mas Koshia fight yet.

He is a pain in the ass!!! I was yelling and cussing for a good hour!!
The place you fight Demise actually makes me think of the area from OOT after you beat Ganon, where Zelda sends you back in time from.
After all these years, I never knew one could re-direct the big ball of super-charged golden rays Ganondorf fires simply by charging a spin in the first phase of OOT x)
My favorite five:
5.Wind Waker Ganondorf
4.Majora
3.Twilight Princess Ganondorf
2.Demise
1.Ocarina of Time Ganondorf
Mine is pretty similar, it looks like:
5. Majora
4. Vaati
3. Demise
2. Ocarina of Time Ganon
1. Twilight Princess Ganondorf
I just spent 4 hours watching ur vids THEY ARE SO GOOD u deserve more subs
Before the game came out, I think we all expected Breath of the Wild to earn a place on this list. The buildup and journey is absolutely incredible, and then Calamity Ganon is an absolute joke, Dark Beast even more so.
Could dark beast ganon even damage you??
Agreed. The only good part of the fight was when the floor broke at the beginning and Link flew down with the paraglider in a sick cutscene. The end was just target practice lmao
That's because it's not about how hard it is. It's meant to be a spectacle. It's the atmosphere. Botw is about the journey.
BOTW is about the journey. Dough the last boss was disappointing
Demise not denise lmaoo 😂
10: Onox (OoS)
9: Veran (OoA)
8: Dark Link (Z2)
7: Demise (SS)
6: Majora (MM)
5: Ganon (Alttp
4: Vaati (MC)
3: Ganondorf (TP)
2: Ganon (Oot)
1: Ganondorf (WW)
How does veran beat onix? Sure she has more forms but onix looks so much cooler and has a very unique fight
"Demon King" *immediatly thinks of Malladus* (Malladus is the true Demon King to me, Okay?)
"and you face him alone."
"Imma say hey listen exactly 8 trillion times now"-navi
I personally think that Demise from Skyward Sword was proably the hardest and the most epic final bosses, (maybe just because it was the first zelda game I played) but it just feels so awesome when you go in the portal.
I loved the Twilight Princess Ganondorf, since he was the same guy from Ocarina, it feels so powerful to battle him sword vs sword
Id agree mostly but swap windwaker ganondorf and ocarina of times gannon simply because I think he showed more of a devious personality and more reason to keep fighting
Cheers gents! another Zeltik video! Always love watching Zelda nerd videos
A Link to the Past Ganon for the win! Nice list. :D

Couldn’t agree more with this list. First ‚real’ childhood Video game villain, plus the most iconic ending to a (my favourite) game. Thumbs up!
A Link to the Past may have been released in Europe in 1995 but it was released here in North America in 1992
Also the original came out in 86, so by no arrangement of dates are they 'more than decade' apart
Yeah, I was wondering why no one had brought this to attention
I find monk maz koshia one of the most satisfying bosses to beat. All my weapons broke when he had 10% health so I had to cheese him with bombs
He's not really a Final boss though

Ok, that's just hilarious
I prefer ganondorf fight in twilight princess, but for me the best final battle is from syward sword
My list
5. OOT
4. BOTW
3. WW
2. SS
1. TOTK
My favorite has always been Windwaker Ganon. The speech he gives at the end makes him more human and give you insight into his motivation. A misguided king with fate working against him, who wanted something better for his people.
BOTW is my first Zelda game, and I love watching these videos cause they give me some inside to the other amazing Zelda games that I cannot play!
I love how ganon from ocarina of time isn’t explained in any other way other than “Ganon”. That’s makes it feel soooo awsome! Like your fighting the one, the only, big bad Ganon!!! Thx for pointing that out! Very cool.
This video reminded me that the gods threw an entire ocean on Vaati. He's still down there-
plz make a top 10 best zelda chareters list
