It’s really cool to see that my childhood hero is still a class act.
robert booth he was my hero to im 29
he is still my hero and i am 52
He was/is and always will be my supercross hero too, im 44. Great guy, very nice, met him in Atlanta
This is a great watch. Jeremy McG is one of the most talented and genuine champions ever in motorsports.
I'm proud to say i have known MC for many many years and watched every step of his career, from Motorcycles to racing Off Road. And now a proud father of 2 and married to a wonderful women. A true Class Act A Legend #2 Jeremy "Showtime" McGrath Also known to close friends as MC.
jeremy helping ashley ride better i love that not only are you the best you have a great heart 2 man you are a hero 2 it is hard to talk to a deaf person if you dont know what your doing
Jeremy McGrath has always been the best in our world.
I love how Ricky and Jeremy are talking about "the addiction of racing" Not even just racing, jsut to ride and drive and be free. It's a feeling nothing can top. Those who don't know the feeling can't compare it to any other feeling. One of the most liberating and adrenaline based feelings you can ever feel.
There aren't many situations in life that can compare to a gate drop are there!
Jeremy was my all-time favorite rider....
Liked ya when you were racing.... Helping that little girl..YOU'RE MY HERO
Have always admired this man, down to earth whether he is winning a championship or being inducted to the hall of fame. Never that attitude that I've got to be better than you that some champions cling to. God bless Jeremy! Thank you for sharing this variety of times in you day / life.
And who here can remember the first two guys to ever challenge mcgrath was Jeff emig and the rhino Ryan Hughes. Lol. I bet not too many guys know who I'm talking about. This is way way before Ricky charmicheal or chad reed. Talking mid-nineties. Golden age of supercross in my opinion
there are a few of us that grew up watching in that era. when i was a kid, i loved honda (because that's what i rode....as if i had a choice but you know, you stay with what brought ya) and Hughes was great....so was Ezra Lusk (regardless of what others claim hehehe) and Sebastien Tortelli.
I still have my Washougal program from the 2001 nationals....Pastrana was 17 and Carmichael was 21. That was a long time ago.....
you mean lampson an henrey
steve lampson an doug henrey
Matt '86 ...im old mid 40s i know them well. U forgot Ezra Lusk bub.
Two of the best to ever bless a bike. I looked up to Mcgrath so much I even had my haircut like him when I was in highschool.
He is the all time greatest in my book still . Saw him for the first time in 94 in Pontiac Mi he and Jeff Stanton were team mates and had some misfortunes which sent McGrath to the lcq which he won and then won the main First person ever to do so It was awesome he looked like water flowing over the track compared to everyone else
When I was younger and rode Bmx all i wanted to do was get a dirtbike and be Jermey. Your the best man
Jerky McGrath is who inspired me to race motocross/suppercross! I’m a top end hard core two stroke rider! He also inspired me to go KTM after Yamaha! Then k-Dub really inspired me to push the edge as well as T,P Jermy McGrath is a forever legend.
This guy was my idol all threw the nineties. Those were my kid years and I just died meeting him in vegas. I still remember the year Rick Johnson still had the 1 plate and Jeremy was like 17 or 18 and just starting blowing away the competition. Only the hard core riders here know what I'm talking about. Jeremy's blue and yellow #1 plate the following year. I think it was 1992.
9:34 Two motocross legends on the podium. Coincidence? I think not.
McGrath still the coolest guy on two wheels
MC your great bro...I loved your book too.
he was genuinely humbled by the hall of fame induction. he need not be. he was better than all of his contemporaries at his respective discipline.
Jeremy McGrath is my hero!!!!!!!!
#776 woo hoo man I told all my friends in the early 90,S that you were going to beat everyone when you got to the 250 class. I’ve been your #1 fan since you was with Team Peak Honda 125 with the # 125. Then I was right which most of everything I learned! I learned from you then Kevin Windham being I was born in Baton Rough in which y’all inspired me to go from beginning to pro in under a year. Then Travis Pastrona inspired me to push the limits of no fear in freestyle motocross. Awesome to see that your still pushing yourself in motocross plus having a great life! I wonder if in the movie Charleys Angles !? Did they run the # 76 on the Yamaha because of me!? I would be so stoked to get your answer. 😎🇺🇸🥇🏁
You're the king!
I started on the pw80 now im racing for the points on a yz250f, hopefully il end in the hall of fame, haha or not! But he is a true legend hands down!
If it wasn't for mc motocross or supercross wouldn't be the way it is today he may retired but he's still my favorite rider
1- this guy is the fucking best moto rider ever
2- he inspired me since i was 5
3- i have a jeremy sticker on my dirt bike
Overall. This man is my inspiration in life. Who's yours?
That deaf girl is incredible. So awesome.
Her name is Ashley you fukin tool

He complimented her.. why are you so salty? Go ride a quad.
Pussy ass quad Rider talking shit!! LOL!!

legend
WAY TO GO JM! ! !
hes the best ever
I tried to copy JM when I was a kid. I was lucky enough to watch him in Charlotte and sat right in front of the triple so he did the Nac-Nac right in front of us.....
9:33 energy drinks redbull, monster, rockstar. in the podium.
I donna know.....its pretty cool
I prefer 4 strokes too because I don't gotta mix my gas and trail riding, that's a great plus! But 2 strokes are fun as hell and riding mx period is fun as hell! But am I the only guy here who thought Ashley Fiolek is a little rockett? I've never seen her before, she's beautiful and talented!
was this on Fuel tv back in the day ?
Don't forget about Ezra Lusk! He gave Jeremy fits!
Rick Johnson is a stud
MC and RJ at like 17:00-17:15. Couldnt have said it better!
I miss first hands =(
thumbs up for honda!
Damn I miss watching this show On Fuel as well with M80 wtf happen to fuel tv !!
2 strokes are the fun bikes, I love riding them, but 4 strokes are taking over... they're starting to grow on me
Yeh man steel roots
We all agree that the #2 is Jeremy's for life. But think about this. He only ran that number for 2 supercross seasons and 2 outdoor seasons. He was too busy
running the #1 plate!!
#ahodge back in the day haha
13:19 XD KID IN BACK
i only heard about ashley fiolek yesterday...the thing is she seems like a pretty awsome rider but despite of her hearing problem how is she able to know when to shift gears on the bike?
When you ride you can feel the powerband easy. Hearing the revs is how most peopple do it but im assuming she goes off of feel. once you hit high revs you can feel the bike losing power. she might also have her mapping set up for more low to mid range power so once she feels the power drop, she then knows to shift.
+Dimitris Simeonidis If I had to guess... And it's a big assumption, I would guess she can feel the vibrations of the engine and the power of the bike and know when to shift. I've never been good enough to be a pro or anything but I rode for many years (since I was a kid in the mid 90's) and in my experience I didn't really listen to the bike, I just instinctively knew when to shift up when it felt like the engine had given all it had to give in that gear. I don't mean redlining it either, just like well I used up the power band in this gear, or falling on its face as some magazine testers call it. Same thing for shifting down, you can feel when you're lugging a bike in too high of a gear, so you click it down a gear and get back into the strong part of the power band. Who knows though, maybe she has a shift light or a tachometer, it wouldn't be hard to install one on a dirt bike.
vibration
Isn't Ricky Johnson the guy McGrath passed on the last lap in 93 to get his first win in Supercross?
No, Johnson had already retired a couple of years before that. You are thinking of Jeff Stanton. Also, it wasn't the last lap. McGrath passed him very early in the race, either lap 3 or 4. Round 3 at Anaheim.
3 people must be James Stewart fans...
i remember when fuel tv was cool
I would imagine she could feel the powerband and when it was time to shift.
2 stroke, 4 stroke. A dirtbike is a dirtbike and it's all in rider preference.
I miss this show so much, Fuel TV is crap now...
I wanna be the rc racing equal to JMC....And marry Ashley.....
2 bad yal all ride 4 strokes now
his KX 500 ,,,, katoong,,katoong,,,
and?
Definitely wouldn't suck being J.M.
@motopilot322 And what?
Thats true as Fuuuuuu, but he still has another national title to his name that everybody else doesnt. Personally i dont like Dungey. But thats just cause i go for privateers
Hah. yeah right.
My 08 kx450f, with ProCircuit piston, camshaft, and T-4 pipe with A boyesen carburetor and 12/52 gearing + VP racefuel would leave any piece of shit you ride in the dust.
Talk shit when you catch up...Oh wait, you wouldn't.
both are dirtbikes
Jeremy McGrath Work ? Aaha ha ha ha ........
How does a deaf person know when to shift?
The trucks just suck McGrath. That sport blows. Needs to step up
there shouldn't be a woman's motocross. if a woman wants to compete she has to compete against the men.
Either him or jeff emig are really kings of mx. Emigs the only one to beat him champion wise at that time. I hear ppl saying ryan hughes was up there with the both of them but honestly wat i remember hughes did not place much less win any races at that time period
Agreed!! only Emig beat him in his prime and that was Outdoors to my recollection. Saw it once in Gainsville FL. Carmichael on the way out and he even admits it was tough to beat the MC. He did more for the sport than any other even though he hated the Outdoors...which I love.
McGrath rules. Emig drools.
McGrath is Mozart, Emig is Salieri (google it)
i miss this show on feul tv. Now all it is are the same stupid ass episodes of UFC all the time!
Naw, he'll get it started, drop it, and then look like a fool as he sits there for 5 minutes trying to start it again.
Douch
You need something better to do. Im sure you can do better.
