  • Randy Lawrence has had one of the most remarkable careers in two wheels I have ever come across. He was an OG of the BMX scene in Southern California and the brother of "Factory" Phil Lawrence. He found his way into a roll as a mechanic and wound up working with "The King" Jeremy McGrath before retiring to race the Downhill World Cup for Intense. He then came back into moto to work as a trainer and carved out an amazing career for himself training guys like Jake Weimer and Ryan Villopoto.

Your interviews are awesome, I love hearing the stories from the guys we grew up watching & idolizing . Your deff helping spread the word of the sport out to the masses and for the up and coming kids to be able to watch the guys they look up to for an actual conversation about the sport instead of a 3min clipper from a race interview.

The funny thing is many racers would love to have the season *#MC* had on the *Suzuki* in *1997*
*9* podiums out of *15* races *2* of those podiums were wins

MC without injuries and with better teams around him simply means automatic SX/MX titles. The King, even with the incredible career that he had, should have won more SX and MX titles (2001 and 2002 included in my opinion).

That’s insane that he walked away from Honda because of the aluminum frame

      He used the '93 Honda frame '93 - '96.

It's not insane, that first aluminum frame was really bad.

That was a rumor back in the day, apparently it was fact. Notice that KTM has kept a chrome moly tube on its 2 strokes. It’s about being less harsh.

I know he hated that frame but he probably would have done better than Suzuki

I think so too. The honda motor was exactly what Jeremy liked. The chassis was meh (I still have my 97 cr250) but it would have been reliable.

I know this is a dbag comment. ..But the navicular bone is in the foot. 🫣 Ooor maybe that's why he was so fast, he had an navicular bone in his wrist. 🤔

Carpal navicular is in the wrist. Navicular is in the foot. I damaged both on my right side and they bother me now that I'm 40. My left side is for reference and remains undamaged.
