Hi, I am desperate, is there an nrpn device control in bitwig? like for reaper or ableton.... and this in order to be able to control old instruments with nrpn... Thank you
I appreciate the work you put in to add 14-bit MIDI. I’m curious, when you say one can just use pitch bend or relative mode for high-resolution MIDI, what do you mean? My needs are to map several endless encoders to multiple parameters. With relative mode on, I still hear stepping, for example when I adjust grain size or start location in the sampler. Fortunately, I’ve got a 14-bit controller coming, so I’m hoping with your script that I will no longer have this problem.
Dear @Jürgen thank you for your amazing work all these years to provide constant support with flexi script in bitwig. .I would kindly ask you for your assistance on how to manage to send the custom min / max value to the device in knob mode settings? Is it possible to set the knob value parameters to be from 0 to max 64 instead 0 to 127? I checked the relative / absolute mode settings under flexi menu but i didn't find that option. Thanks so much, Robert
No, there is no such setting. You can work around this by assigning a Macro modulator to a parameter which allows to set the range and then map the Macro to device page.
Fantastic new additions, launchpad updates and 14bit support as well. Btw, does 14bit also work with the normal midi mapping inside the project, or do you recommend setting it up in generic flexi settings rather? I was thinking controlling time-shift devices in each track to slightly nudge them in miliseconds. That would give much finer control with 14bit resolution.
Hi, would it be possible to make a quick tutorial about Reaper and the Generic Flexi because it doesent work if I try to use the Generic Flexi. If I enable the Midi controller in the Reaper preferences then I couldnt set the Slots in the DrivenByMoss4Reaper configuration. If I disable the Midi controller in the Reaper preferences I can set the Slots (and Save the settings) but it doesent move anything if I turn the knob of the Midi controller? With the Novation SL MKIII controller its working very nice but every other controller Ive tried doesent work.
Disable the ports in Reaper! Assign them to the Generic Flexi instance. Now close the configuration dialog and re-open it to make the MIDI ports active (that's the trick). Now you should be able to assign commands.
@@mossgraber Unfortunately it doesent work like that :( I disable the ports in Reaper (in this case the X-Touch Mini). Assign the X-Touch to the Generic Flexi (Midi In 1 and Out 1: X-Touch Mini). Select Slot 1, turn a controller knob till the confguration diaog recognized it, cick on "Set" and then Save a Filename and close the confguration diaog. The parameters are already mapped and working with the SLMKIII but nothing happends with the X-Touch? What Im doing wrong?
Cool. In a few years we will need a bit crusher for CC messages :-)

I am not fully sure but I think it is not supported. The main difference is that Flexi works globally and the direct mapping is per project.
@@mossgraber Thanks, I'll give it a try anyway.

@@mossgraber I send you some Printscreens in the Reaper Forum. I hope you can see whats the issue is. Thanks for your help!
