There seems to be too much bad leadership at Mclaren. Plus, not being a works team in today's F1 climate kind of guarantees you can't keep up with the top 3 teams.

There was a video of the Mclaren, 12C Spider walking a Huracan Performante so why bother speaking on the 600Lt, the 600Lt will probably be on par with the Ferrari Pista, in terms of stair line speed so the Lamborghini question is irrelevant.
Joef - Because the Performante will compete against the hardcore version of the 720S when that is due. This is the hardcore version of McLaren's 'sports car'. It just happens to be able to roll with the boys in the class above.
Of course not exactly the same, but they're similarly shaped. And for what you pay that is just laziness. I saw one once and I was struggling to figure out which one was it. Now imagine your average joe... Anyways, to be frank with you, if one day I had the cash, I would not consider a McLaren.
I don't know what McLaren are doing wrong with their F1 team, but their road cars simply world class!
