Rumour has it that the original hue was earmarked to be called Sainsbury's Orange, but McLaren changed it to Papaya Orange at the last minute, in order to not alienate the dominant client-base that generally frequent Waitrose and M&S. Nice touch / tip of the hat to that lad.

Congrats JE! I’ll be honest I prefer the Bentley and as an ex McLaren staff member I don’t think I’d buy a McLaren, but generally anything wearing a LT badge was better. I hope she’s good to you 👍🏻

Mclaren are such good value! What a car. Some reason the 600 LT less reports of trouble. Maybe the factory took their time on these rather than rushing to hit quotas.

I really don’t know what it is about Mclaren, I am just about old enough to remember him racing, the team was formed the same year I was born ( which means they must be doing some sixtieth anniversary stuff this year) and I love their technology focused attitude.
But the cars for some reason leave me cold, they have the curves, they have the performance and technology but they leave me with the feeling I have spent a cold winters week attending an accounts conference in Mablethorpe!
I am glad your brother likes it though. Happy new year to you and your family and if you have the time it would be great to have a video on where your watch collection is at 👍

Guys.. i sold my 600lt after 2 months, 18month old car plagued with fitment , coolant, trim and seal and corrosion issues. I then bought Jame’s old 991.2 Turbo s and havent looked back. I hope you have a better experience, the mcdogs are special, just the other half of the ownership experience.
Fingers well and truly crossed. James’s Turbo S was amazing! We all wish he still had it - including him!

very nice car, does need to straight pipe it but I doubt that will happen. 675lt would have been a good choice too, maybe archie could get that one. look forward to more gym vids.

It’s coming off that plate. Plates are not permanent

I'm curious, how did it work with the Bentley? Did he sell it after 2 months and lose a bucket load with the added owner to the logbook Or did he just hire it? It would be interesting to hear the numbers.
