- Enjoy the cb talk! Ex bull hauler reminiscing about his past experience. Missing out on class! Tired of this tupperware shxt. IH 10 Westbound west of Van Horn. Pretty much in the middle of nowhere!

My cdl trainer used to drive over the road. He shared a story about driving through Texas late at night. He was the only one on the road for a while, then began to notice headlights miles behind him. Over the radio he heard, "Westbound 20 stay out of the left lane. We a coming." Not 2 minutes later, 5 bull haulers pass him at about 90, if not faster he said. "You don't mess with bull haulers," he said.
I was coming home(Ohio) from North Dakota I was on I 94 east bound. I know I was running 80-82 mph. I was in the slow lane still making decent time. I look back in the side mirrors. Usually if it’s a company truck they are speed limited 75 or maybe 77 (I own my own truck). I see this truck pulling closer in my mirror. Here it is 5 loaded cattle haulers running 90 mph. They walked past me in the slow lane and like I said I was at 80-82 mph.
Facts
We would run Arizona, New Mexico running 85 plus. Never was stopped in the 10 years I hauled black Angus cattle .
Nomads pass em. They don't mind having a faster front door. Can't step it up, you need to stay out the left lane. It's for the boys with ball's
The last of a breed, large cars with all the lights and some of the fastest trucks on the road!It takes a special cowboy to still have the freedom from the past!
Not just men either. Some of us have some old left lane runners in the barn. 1987 359exhd, 3408 v8 Cat, 6 speed Spicer with a 4 speed splitter box. Getting a full complete off frame job. Hoping to have it back on the road by 2024. Family truck passed down.
I'm am early 30s and always on the fence about trucking. I'd love to haul cattle though.
@@MsNomad-ue8zr should be just men
@@thestinkycheeseman2208 it’s fun at times and not so fun at other times. Like trying to wash out when there’s 4 inches of frozen cow shit inside
@@MrFTBL2000 Oh I spent the first part of my life working large cattle ranches out west. Frozen cow shit don't bother me
I remember years ago when I lived in Arizona , I was out on a state highway when a bull hauler went flying by and several minutes later I heard on my scanner a deputy sheriff say " I just met a bull hauler doing 85, he's cooking on all 4 burners. " An old buddy of mine that was a bull hauler once told me what a Range Truck was. He said it looks just like a bull wagon only it hauls sheep on top, cows on the bottom, horses under the hood, a pig in the sleeper, and a jackass behind the steering wheel.
That's a good one
Glad to see someone still using the CB! I run a CB daily and truck chatter has sadly fallen-off a lot in the last few years. Thankfully many truckers still turn the radios on and talk when there's a road emergency ahead.
That is correct! Last 6 months skip/ dx conditions are ruining 19 for many truckers in certain areas. Lots of useless chatter.
@@13keystone90 We're in a huge solar cycle now so the skip will be here for a year or so. This is noisy on 11 meter, but very exciting using my Export radio on 10 meter SSB Ham. A Ham license is pretty easy to get now, just want to toss that out there.
I cannot think of not having a 2 way in a big rig.🦇
When I passed those boys in my 379 with that 3406 B turning only 1700 and then stuck in over drive they always wanted to ask how fast I was doing. My answer was always as fast as I want to cause it is my truck.
wow....youre so cool.
These guys have what is probably the most dangerous and difficult job in the trucking industry. Even the cops and the DOT step back and allow them some slack because of their professionalism. Stay out of their way and let them do what they do.
Yeah, they’re pretty and fast but get me back to the late 70’s or early 80’s and get me one of those K-Whopper W-900 with a Aerodyne sleeper some Montfort hands were driving. I started in 83’ and rememberthose things were rocket ships. Owner would pay the speeding tickets for them and some even said he was paying off depts in Arizona,Colorado Etc, so they wouldn’t F**k with his trucks.
I used to run with Montfort trucks. Those boys flat strolled. Anything you heard about the owner was true
Reminds of back wen we would all gather at truck stop just west Vegas waitin for nite an cool we set out 8-12 trucks an run 100-120 cross the desert to Reno them was sum great times
Yep, .... Keep Them Tires Cool
Just tonight, ran 95 behind a bull hauler, from slc all the way to the nevada border. No ears, but we covered some ground quickly.
100-120 is wild
100 -120 is bullshit
Best come back ever ; "I've had bout all this Tupperware shit I can stand"
8596 the cow dog running hot let's go
Please for all the drivers out there quit talking about how fast them trucks can go. OK? Don't talk about how fast another truck past you. For example pulling chickens west and produce east and not knowing how fast I was going someone had to open their mouth when I passed them and then had to slow down to 3 over along I 10 in Texas in the middle of the night. We listen to the CB or most of us still do anyway and the bears also have CBS. Chances are if I am running that fast I also have a bird dog. 10 miles over the limit on an 11 hour drive means the extra time mine.
So don't fuck a driver.
Hear say on the cb doesn't hold up in court. Do really think there are cb's in law enforcement vehicles these days?
@@13keystone90 Yeah there are. Your right hearsay on the cb is not evidence but being called out by other drivers calls their attention. So you have to slow down for a while.
@@daveweed2765 You are the only one slowing down. It is 80mph out there......
@@13keystone90 LOL. I guess no one ever told you, not all trucks are neutered and not everyone runs ELDs.
When I here as a selling point for a company that they have turned their trucks up to 68 mph on SXM I have to shake my head. Corporations and government compliance for a gig that used to be fun. 80 mph now in some states. Whoops! Please note the sarcasm. My ol' 78 K100 the speedo don't go past 80 numerically. It just kind of bounces. I won't say how fast my GPS tell me. But at night running The Blue Hair 500 between Vegas and Reno just hammer down and watch for the wild jackals. This is one stretch I have been scolded on and flashed blues. Night is OK to pass the megatrucks and between dark and light the RVs usually don't travel. Just slow down through the towns though. When you cross over the cattle guards you better be right on the speed. But OTR we ate not always in Nevada.
it also kills your gas mileage, meaning you'll need more fuel to get there sooner, so thanks for supporting Russia, the middle east, and Canada, I'm sure they love all this extra oil to send to America!
They hauled em on Hoof and I hauled em on the Hook from the Cow patch of America to all points coast to coast back many moons ago. Either way we both Ran Em Faster than normal..
drove tractor trlr when I was a young guy... best friend hauled live stock... they get no water... they're packed in can't move much... and stressed... gotta get them where they're go'n or they lay down and die... lost revenue... the majority of vehicle drivers don't have a clue... whatta cdl driver goes through
Gimme my toothpicks and let's roll Ole son😏

That doesn't look fun!
You can almost smell them trucks
The smell does linger but that driver knows the difference!
That's what is known as the sweet smell of success.
😮nice formation of line 👏
Hello 13Keystone
Can I use your Dashcam videos from your channel for my compilations?
they get a credit on the screen and link in the description.
Many thanks in advance
Yes
@@13keystone90 Thank you
Hi, can I feature it? Credited on screen and with a link back!
And is there any update? What happened after the accident?
Yes
Gonna get my cdl back and haul me some bulls they got them long legged petes
Don't complain step on the hammer. Unless your truck, have a governor.
Aint no better feeling than chicken truck mobin
Bull haulers have no lease on the left lane. It’s called the “Monfort Lane” Monfort was swinging beef a reefer load dang it.😂😂

Not all of them, you obviously never seen Hatfield company drivers. They’re horrible
Hey mate,
can i use this video in my new compilation?
credit in the description, comment & your channel name in compilation
Yes
For the truckers out there...Are you guys starting to use GMRS channel 19 yet? I have both CB and GMRS and run them both while on the freeways.
I don't think so, we only need communication for short range. Usually, stock radios are all you need. Locals and big radios sometimes take up channel 19 playing stupid and you cannot communicate when needed. They do have radios with fm that would eliminate the big radios from interfering but most truckers I don't think will change,
@@13keystone90 yeah. I got the new Cobra 75. Has FM band too.
Cluck, cluck chicken truck. Just Rooster crusin. They were good times, but the outlaw era is gone forever
Does the popo just leave these guys alone or do they have a system
I wonder this too
In my opinion they should be legally allowed to go as fast as safely possible their hauling live cargo and the shorter they are inside those trailers the better I think a lot of most cops understand that
If they stop them they have to provide the cattle with a water source and resting area so most just leave them alone I’ve heard there’s some cops that have a list of people that will run for you if they put you out of service
@@Lonewolf-qo3hk that sounds made up but I'll believe you just because I've seen these guys running been passed here in Oklahoma
We stay outta each others lane
Arriba los bull haulers puros chingones
them Bull Haulers dont play they fr american heros respect to them
@@phantom197 What gives them that status compared to any other driver!
what they do is important but I respect all the tuckers tho bless all the truckers
Looks like New Mexico
You guys are lucky sitting on 70mph and complaining about being overtaken. In Australia everything is limited to 100kmh or 60mph. Enjoy the drive and don't worry about the other bloke
Hamburger on the hoof no time for petty bullshit ! Move it or lose it!
They dont have to stop and throw a prayer rug on the ground at 9 and 3 in front of the fuel isle they just keep motoring on because their Savior is alive and He lives in their heart! !!! Truck on driver🤠👍👯🤸🙏🙏🏁🏁🇱🇷🇱🇷
Why do they go so fast?
It’s 100 degrees with livestock in the back. No time to waste ….
@@XrpAndy are they not afraid of getting tickets for speeding?
A ticket is probably cheaper than if half their haul dies of heat stroke
@@natanmysli4825 they don't really mess with us knowing we have livestock on, as long as we are not in and out of lanes and driving recklessly.
@@gq-cw6xi no my truck does triple digits although I typically don't go that fast mostly keep it around 95 loaded, in Texas most our speed limits are 75 & 85 mph

The Bull Hauler companies & bull growers. Contribute to the police Christmas fund copiously. No speed limit for them. Seen it many times, in good & bad weather!
Acoustics are terrible on this video. All I hear is road noise with unintelligible radio chatter off in the background and maybe some "music" thrown in.

Let them truckers roll 10-4 leave em alone H.P
Thank you ❤️
There is no way I could drive something this big, going this fast. 80% of anxiety, not knowing whether other drivers will do. 20% anxiety from my own skills or lack thereof.
Thank you very much
@@asafaust8869 if you pay attention, check your equipment and love to drive there’s nothing wrong with putting the hammer down! Real truckers who pay attention gain a keen instinct to what a car is gonna do before they do it. These company steering wheel holders are on the phone which is why they end up in a Ravine or causing 15 miles of traffic from a wreck.
Look like chicken trucks.
Not in West Texas!
