I remember years ago when I lived in Arizona , I was out on a state highway when a bull hauler went flying by and several minutes later I heard on my scanner a deputy sheriff say " I just met a bull hauler doing 85, he's cooking on all 4 burners. " An old buddy of mine that was a bull hauler once told me what a Range Truck was. He said it looks just like a bull wagon only it hauls sheep on top, cows on the bottom, horses under the hood, a pig in the sleeper, and a jackass behind the steering wheel.

They can use the left lane to pass someone slower than them in the right lane but they shouldnt be slowing down the flow of traffic behind them. The Left lane flow has priority over you slowly passing the person in front of you so wait until the left lane is clear and you have ample room to pass so no one in the left lane get too close to you.

Drove ungoverned trucks most of my career, I had to relearn my driving habits in a 65 mph truck. I didn't like being "that guy" hung out in the hammer lane, so I typically kept the cruise set around 62. Many times I'd roll up on a truck going 60 for several miles before I decided to pass, get half way around and they bump up to 65. I guess it's a game to some, back off, let the guy around.

Bc is trying to implement. So on double lanes, trucks will just block traffic as they can't pass each other. I'm sure the truckers would never make a point to do this😅.

Many newer school busses have the governor to keep them from going over 55 and then there is the Bendix machine that will slow you down if someone ahead slows. It will also slam on the brakes if the vehicle ahead does so, Funny thing, the reaction time is slower than the driver's reaction time and because it doesn't see all it can slam on the brakes when a vehicle crosses in front of the bus where the driver sees it and knows there is no danger.

How refreshing it is to see two truck drivers who actually understand this simple concept. Presumably, you guys also understand that falling behind by approximately one minute for every hour of travel time simply doesn't affect a person's life enough to justify making an all-day trip into a competition where no one can actually gain anything anyway (except to become part of a closely-packed crowd of impatient fools, where keeping out of trouble, should it develop, will be a million times more difficult). Thank you, from a four-wheeler who drives the same way and is almost as rare among four-wheelers as you guys are among truck drivers.

Looks like an industrial propane tank storage. Either that or storage of some type of liquid gas.

If I'm driving on flat land or running a light load, I prefer to use my cruise control. When I catch up to someone, there's usually a big enough speed difference. If not, I bump it up a few times so I can get a clean pass without creating a logjam. Unfortunately, most drivers don't give a rat's petunia about anyone but themselves.

There is lots of pressure in those tires, once it blows up, it will raise up the dust from road and everywhere. Don't go near those truck or trailer tires if you have any suspicion they might blow up.
