Haven't waxed a car since I bought my first chevy in the 80's. One trip to Griot's shop in Tacoma and now I've got two buffers and Griot's bag full of colorful little bottles and towels. In my driveway I've got the shiniest cars and motorcycles I've ever owned...... There's something alluring and peaceful about spending time detailing your own vehicle. Griot's video instructions have been a huge help to this noice.
Was always a Meguires customer until I first tried your Speed Shine. I've never gone back and ALL my friends now use your product seeing how well it works for all of my cars. Thanks!!!
Love the 3 in 1 ceramic. In fact it's great on glass as well. Completely steak free. Most times I just rinse my car and dry it because dirt doesn't stick. I put it on 2 to 4 times a year because it very easy and quick.
You probably dont care but if you guys are bored like me atm you can watch pretty much all the latest series on instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my gf for the last few months xD
I used the 3 in 1 Liquid Wax on my dads new Ram and honestly it had the deepest shine and most slickness of any wax product I’ve used. Amazing product keep up the good work. One more thing all of the Griots products I’ve used smell amazing it makes detailing so much more enjoyable.
Sometimes I think you (and everyone else) have way too many products, but then I see a video like this and I understand why. Thank you for clarifying your product line. I've gone from slightly overwhelmed to having a good understanding of what I need. Thanks. I'm going Poly Wax with either Spray on wax as a drying agent or Best of Show spray wax after drying for our 2022 vehicles.
I bought a 2012 Jeep Liberty that had low miles but had obviously not been cared for. I washed it and then used a clay bar. I followed that up with Griots Liquid 3 in 1 wax (non ceramic) and a random orbital buffer with a medium cutting pad. After my first pass over the vehicle it looked like a different car. I switched to a finishing pad and hit it again. The Jeep had a new car shine to it when I was done. I was really happy with the product and have used other Griots products since.
This was a much needed refresher! I have most of what you've shown but, even I got tripped up this past weekend on deciding what product to apply. 🤦🏻♂️ Thanks for this one! 💪🏼🙌🏼
Every product manufacture should learn from this video, short, simple, and explain what every product is and when it should be used. Personally, I am a fan of 3 in 1 ceramic.
Before they released the ceramic lineup I really liked washing with the purple rinseless wash and wax then following up with an application of best of show spray wax
I appreciate the way you go about describing your products. What they have to offer as far as protection, visuals, and ease of use. I bought the G9 random orbital polisher as my first polisher and I really enjoy using it. Works great. Its ergonomic, and the 3 in 1 liquid wax is awesome for an beginner with beautiful results
Nice review of the lineup of protection products. Just now using the 3-n-1 Ceramic on my neighbor's car and so it gets the neglected car testing phase.
the simple answer is yes, there’s a few things to keep in mind! When applying multiple layers of wax or sealant, always assess the protection and aesthetic properties of each. The extent of the protection will only last as long as your bottom layer provides, so you’ll want to use the more durable product as your bottom layer and allow it to cure for 12-24 hours. Your top layer will determine the gloss, shine, and hydrophobic properties.
I have two applications of 3 in 1 ceramic wax on one car. Recently I washed the car with Foaming Surface wash, then followed with Foaming Poly Gloss. 48 hrs later I cleaned it with Speed Shine Ceramic. What have I done?
Hey Mark, so with the stacking of products the top layer, in this case Ceramic Speed Shine, is serving as your protection. The base layer (Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax) will determine the duration of your protection and the amount of protection left depends on the application date. For future care, you can skip the Foaming Poly Gloss and use Ceramic Speed Shine after and between washes.
We actually suggest not putting any other waxes or sealants on top of the Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax as it will compromise the gloss, shine, and hydrophobicity. Feel free to use a quick detailer between washes though!
@@GriotsGarage Can't you use the Ceramic Wash & Coat for washes that will enhance the durability of the 3in1 spray wax? I thought that was what it was for or am I mistaken?
Using the 3 in 1 wax, I just got a G9 and was wondering if I should use the orange or red pad to apply? I want to be able to fix minor imperfections each time I wax and I'm not sure if the orange pad is too aggressive or if the red pad will do any correction at all? Thank you!!!
Yes, the Best of Show Spray Wax can be used as standalone protection. And you could absolutely use the Spray Wax as a topper after every wash. Here's a nice breakdown of all of our waxes, the protection the provides, and how often we suggest applying them: www.griotsgarage.com/category/education+wax.do
@@GriotsGarage Thank you for the reply. For very light swirls would you recommend the red foam wax pad or the black foam finishing pad for use with the liquid wax 3 in 1? Thank you again in advance. It is truly appreciated.
I like your products, but those with the screw on tops are the worst to get product out. You literally got to shake the you-know-what out of it and squeeze the bottle almost flat to get the product out. Maybe putting a pump on these top bottles with solve the problem.
For how well the ceramic 3 in 1 beads water, the example shown in this video is pretty bad and doesn't do the product justice. It beads way better than that.

Can the Ceramic 3 in 1 be used over a sealant? Or should the sealant be removed? Thx.
Can’t you top a sealant with carnauba?
Ordered mine this afternoon.
Thanks for your order!
Good job Nick.
awesome products. I love the videos, really well done. just bought an orbital from you even tho i already have one. Good stuff.

I just bought the ceramic 3 n 1 but haven't been able to get a nice day to apply it yet.

Where would the new all in one ceramic wax fall in this video? Planning to clay bar and wax my car and deciding which route to go.

We recommend using the orange pad. It's always best to test a small area first to dial in your pad and technique.
Hi Griot’s. May we then surmise that the red foam pad is not to be used for correction, and used only for application?
@@Swimdancer1 not Griots, but you are correct. The red pad doesn't cut and is only only for applying waxes and sealants. (Not polishes/compounds)

Nick can I get ceramic 3 in 1 wax in Australia?
Hello! Unfortunately we do not ship internationally quite yet but hope to have our products in Australia in the near future.
Is it recommended to clay bar before using liquid wax 3 in 1? Or can it be used on its own effectively?
It can be used on it's own, however we do recommend decontaminating the vehicle prior to applying any wax for best results.
