This is why when you call 911 in Austin, you need to be dying, or holding up traffic for them to even send someone out. Had a customer at the tire shop tell me he was gonna cut me into pieces (literally) after we wouldn’t work on his car, because the guy was sketchy and we had suspicion the car was stolen. Called 911, they wouldn’t send anyone, but right across the street at chilis, a cop was parked outside probably at the bar

Which went out the window with real life kicked in. Greed and vanity will always win in this world. Proverbs, sayings, phrases, and catchphrases, all those cliché quotes. They are 100% accurate, it was poetry or early rap. 😀 It's because they hold the truth. It is just some truths are easier than others. Therefore a reminder, that absolute power corrupts absolutely and money talks, bs walks.

Because they thought it was still active shooting. It is smarter to have them and NOT need them than need them, and not have them. They also need to take role calls of who was there and statements to build the scene. It used to be they could sit literally at Rudy's near the Arboretum for more than 4 hours. I kid you not, I arrived with coworkers back in the day and they have been there for a while. Like eight cops or more. We were there for four hours and left and they were still there. Lol they also use to have like four cops to pull over and give them a ticket. I bet they miss those old days of Mayberry Barney Fif lives. Now they have to learn to be real city cops and live that hard life.

He semi-complained stating there were no signs on the entrance, but went out and disarmed himself. So I made sure to walk by him and stated to him, "that's why I conceal carry." Next time I go to this particular store, I will be sure to remind them about making a customer remove his firearm, and about the nut job that was there shooting up the place a few days later.

Soo they probably discovered a trafficking ring and all came to… investigate, and make sure the roads were blocked in case anyone tried to escape… I mean bad guys of course. 😳🤐

I never understood why they call every unit and have them stay there way after the crime is done. Like all 100 cops on duty just stand around the crime scene for 6 hours. Never made any sense to me. If you’re a criminal this is the best time to commit crimes. It’s gonna take forever to get a unit out. So dumb police need to be restructured

For real. I’ve always gone by the saying “pass one cop on the road and that’s one less cop that will pull you over” 😂

Seen every cop in a small city at a house fire. Thought to myself, what a great time to rob a bank!

Man, I don't even recognize Austin anymore. It used to be a badass weekend hangout when ai was younger. It's turned into L.A. There's hardly anything Texas left about it

It was reported on every Austin news outlet. People stop acting like "they had no idea it happened".
