Does dymatize have stopped putting a white cardboard under its jar cap ? I just got my Cocoa Pebbles jar today. Everything looks authentic th mouth of the jar was covered by white cardboard but in older videos they talk about a white cardboard under the cap of the jar too. Anyone who is purchasing dymatize since many clears, please help me

"Birthday cake pebbles" is pretty specific so to speak plus I imagine it's at least partially artificial flavor.. if you can at least "get that down" without adding any milk, salt or sugar or anything then that's good enough for me to consider buying.

use to get the iso100 vanilla and do overnight oats with them. now switched to chocolate golden standard whey. so good

What would u get compared to ghost? Because I don’t wanna buy ghost it’s too expensive.
Honestly, all the proteins w little bits of cookie or marshmallows are gonna be a minimum of $40 per tub. My fav is 1UPnutrition for flavor. They sell online, first purchase is 20% off. Rocky road ice cream is my fav protein flavor. Maybe try it? Hope that helps

I have some of these for post workout recovery but would you recommend eating something like a protein bar about an hour or two BEFORE a workout?
Protein bar isn’t ideal imo because it’s slow to digest. I’d recommend an actuall meal about an hour or two before. Then a shake after, followed by a meal.

I just got both of the Dunkin powders from Amazon. i really like them both.
I used to go through those triple bag boxes dymatize had too man. They used to be a very good value brand but the success of this protein seems to have destroyed what was.

Wow you guys across the pond have it so good in pricing. The iso 100 is £80/$100 for the 2.2kg. Currently on the optimum nutrition gold standard rich chocolate £55/$70 for the 2.2kg tub.really want to try the iso 100 but price is putting me off

Hi BB, Thanks for the great videos. I regularly do a post workout protein drink. My brand is 1stPhorm whey and my flavor is the mint chocolate cookie. I fill my WHOLE shaker with water to get some extra hydration and I really like it. Have you ever tried this brand? My wife likes this brand because she can get the plant based type. She has a dairy sensitivity, so the vegan iced oatmeal cookie is her go to.

I liked the fruity pebbles but I got tired of it quick and the more I drank it the more artificial it tastes. I def love the cocoa pebbles and I’m not huge on chocolate protein most taste chalky. But cocoa pebbles is amazing.

So the Ghost has a bitter chemical aftertaste, which just ruins the flavor.
The Dymatize doesn’t. It’s a light flavor though. It’s not rich and decadent in flavor. They are not the same but very similar..one has a more intense flavor (ghost) but also a chemical aftertaste. The Dymatize is lighter in flavor, but no chemical aftertaste. I prefer anything over a chemical taste so my personal choice in those would be the Dymatize.
If you like chocolate, the CoCo Pebbles is hands down, the best chocolate protein I’ve ever tasted.

Just with GNC having a bogo on both dymatize and ghost I’m debating on which one to get and don’t want to end up getting the same flavor but two different brands😅 I heard ghost is more like trix and dymatize is the true fruity pebbles flavor. Is there another brand you have in mind that has the best fruit pebbles flavor?
@@NickNeumann tbh, that I can’t say because imo the trix/FP flavor has always had a strong chemical taste in most proteins, other than the Dymatize.

Some say that the taste is different with milk when mixing Dymatized. I haven’t used this brand, only ON, Bulk and recently Xxl Nutrition. Perhaps you should try them with milk?
Yes you’re right, protein tastes better when mixed with milk, however I’m establishing a baseline in order to compare all protein powders. Wouldn’t be a good comparison with some powders mixed w water others some w milk.

Haven't had the cocoa pebbles, but I own the chocolate pb it is AWESOME. A fantastic ratio of pb and chocolate, reminds me of a slightly less favorable melted reeses.

I avoid adding extra calories to protein powders..rather save the calories for actual food.

Out of all the protein powders you tried, what are your top 3 in terms of price and taste?
Only thing putting me off Dymatize was the higher price compared to getting the Gold Standard whey protein bag at Costco.
I'm a beginner and I was going to try the Vanilla/Chocolate from Dymatize. Might go with Cocoa Pebbles after this review.
You need whey protein, it tastes better in general. The best tasting, what I have tried so far is Core Power. However, those are the ready to drink proteins.
If you’re looking for chocolate powder my recommendation is BSN Syntha-6 and for vanilla, I’d say muscle milk.
Price wise, I’d say they are very similar..fluctuating about 10$ difference usually.
You definitely won’t go wrong with Gold Standard whey for price and taste it’s pretty good but honestly the taste isn’t like outstanding. Where as Core Power..delicious.
Lastly, if you watch all my Ghost protein videos, there’s definitely at least 3 outstanding flavors..watch my “Ghost protein top 5 flavors” video.
@@Bravebelly I like Fairlife milk, and I REALLY wanted to like the Core Power shakes. Costco sometimes has a deal on them. But they were bitter to me. I'm not sure if it was the Ace-K sweetener or what. I can't say I've every noticed a bad taste with Sucralose or Stevia.
