just found your channel. been working on old MB's most of my adult life as a hobby. parents had 264 and a 244 for a bit as a kid... you just made me want to find some to work on, lol. our old diesel 264(D24) was the first car i ever "worked" on as a kid.... awesome content. dont let them get you down.

I feel your pain man, being a car UA-camr with a full time day job and limited workspace is tough. I think you should only worry about making videos if it's something you consider fun. Personally I don't want the pressure of cranking out new videos every week, it takes me forever to get anything done. I hope you're able to resolve a better live/work situation but I know it can take time and be costly. Either way I've been enjoying the Volvo content, best of luck Dean!

Just before you were about to mention the county issues I was thinking how can your neighbours ( seems affluent) allow for all the noise and how they just want peace after long day of working.. understandable you would need a neighbourhood that is maybe a farm .. to park all those cars
Thats the funny thing. We are very quiet about what we do and often make 0 noise for weeks. The loudest thing in our neighborhood is leaf blowers and loud music.
Welp, that sucks. You might have to sell a bunch of cars for a while until you can get your next house. I had to sell some cars in the past and it's painful when you have that passion. If I was you, I'd sell off some of the projects, stay out of trouble, and get that house when you can. Just because you might be down to only a car or two in the long run it would help you. I don't understand all these county issues because I live in Canada in the city and we don't have HOAs and stuff here. There are rules about having cars parked on the street for too long here, though. Good luck.
Whats really annoying is, we have an optional HOA. Or atleast we did. It dissolved due to lack of interest. Part of me thinks they might have something to do with it.

This has been an incredible challenge. We tell a realtor we need space and a large shop and they send us half acre properties with no shop. We have had 3 realtors now.

More like, the county has an ordinance that does not allow you to park off of your concrete driveway. I have a gravel parking pad. Often I will park cars on the gravel or in the street since we are a dead end road. Both of these options are apparently not permitted
