I'm 60% WR scizor on 280 battles, I agree theres some Pokemon you should avoid fighting as Scizor. But I just love how it feels to play Scizor. Really need to think about where you are going to move doing your bullet punches. Don't just spam the move. I've been running attack weight and X attack. Alternatively using potion can help you if your health regen is too slow. And by the way never use double hit. If your playing with someone you can talk to, have them lure people to you as you hide in a bush. And then use your attack item and swords dance + bullet punch and slay.
Speaking of Scizor’s relevance in draft, I think it would be a really fun list to say “best Pokémon/archetype to counter every Pokémon” now that people can counter pick
I wish it had a rework as well as Scyther (ability wise)... Metagross stole the Scizor buffs it wanted when its BP was out (basically just the cooldown given when basic attacking with both Special Def and Def getting a boost as well)
In this buzzwole op meta, scizor struggles a lot since we got also a lot of cc and other allrounders and strong mages but scizor can pop off. Scizor is fun with a good flow but CC is hell
I love how at the begging it was double hit scyther for the resets and SD scizor so he can have more damage but it changed just about on the first balance patch, scyther started using SD to burst just about everything now and Scizor used to avoid getting kitted so easily
Yesterday, I got a 135k damge 32 KO Scizor game because the opponents wouldn't stop recklessly charging back into battle on their bottom T2 Goal after we secured Registeel. An absolutely wild Pokemon when used right.
I like to see someone play Scizor because it requires skills to play it. I always practice using Scizor in offline mode with Swords Dance + Bullet Punch moves and R.F. Scarf + R. Guard + Scope Lens. The held items is kinda random though.
I’ve always loved this Pokemon and thought he was always good….just because he isn’t compared to others just shows the state of the game with other OP One hit players. That’s why I love and respect players who play characters like Scizor
Of course you're going to struggle against clefs and mobile special attackers. If you're going against them, pick scyther, you lose a brawler/Frontline but at least you're not gutted against gravity or long range. If you can poke em out or all in them (which is better than sustained bullet punches) you take out key targets so they don't moonlight everyone or do constant dps on atkers. Match-up dependent movesets are a thing.
I normally go rapid fire scarf, muscle band, razer claw. 6 whites and 6 brown. (+4.5% crit rate) and x speed. I can outrun almost anything, out tank almost anything. Most broken scizor ive ever built.
The reason I play Scizor is because he’s my second favorite Pokémon. I haven’t played him in a while though because of all the really good special attackers though…
When the sp. attackers, and spoon, and gravity is nerfed Scizor would feel good. But currently it's grieving your team because it's more likely to have these sp. Attackers and gravity on enemy team. Also Scyther is the least played pokemon let alone least played speedster it's sitting the Dragapult memorial tier where no one is playing it because there a lot of better options, they should do something about it. Scyther buffs 100%, Scizor buffs maybe, maybe not.
This is the one Pokémon I like to just have fun. I love fighting and chasing people down the flux zone. Wish he was better but hey beggars can’t be choosers

Jake, you’re playing it WRONG. You have to auto-lock jungle, gank only top, dive tier 2 bases when objectives are up, and only do 40k dmg while pinging Thanks! all game. This is what all the great Scizor players are doing nowadays!
I hate scissors, bullet punch + sword dance is almost unkillable if ur even a little gd with the game in my last rank game 1 scissor did a 1v3 and still won and even if they have lower level than enemy they can still win with bullet punch

Resonant Guards such an insane item, but I’ve been so in love with stacking especially on Scizor but I think I just gotta fully commit to dropping it

Either or. Depends on your playstyle. I like swordsdance because it allows me to mix up skill shots, autos, and buff attack. Double hit just hits.
