If done properly, you can get triple Horn Leech off. Using Horn Leech before Curse gives you just enough time to get another one off before Curse ends, and then using it again right after reset

U can horn leech curse then spam horn leech. U shoukd be able to use horn leech right before the curse explosion then use it after the explosion

When I first started unite, horn leech curse was my go too
It has been pretty much the better build until trevenant got power crept (or outdated) and they buffed wood hammer
Because it was. I loved this built, and it was basically the only good one, the second hit from wood hammer didn't connect half the time because it was stupidly slow... and pain split just sucked lmao

I’ve really enjoyed playing hammer pain split. It gives crazy cc along with the crazy self sustain and dps from pain split’s buff. Curse horn leech is also really fun though.
This used to be my bread and butter build before wood hammer got reworked. Double horn leech is basically kidnapping.
I agree with Spragels here, the thing with pain split, its that is single target, while this is a multiple target option, more CC, with a reset, so i find this to be better because of it.
Pain split is great but you have to latch on to an attacker. The damage you take will be directed to them while you curse everyone

Been trying out some new held item builds for this. I personally like focus band more than resonant because you basically become invincible at low hp because of it, his passive, and horn leech. The amount of healing is insane. Straight back up to max hp if focus is ready lol
Really any combination of weakness, focus, cookie, and resonant for the last two item slots mainly depending on my team’s comp. I always run attack weight though.
There are quite a few move tricks and bonuses that it seems most don't know
Two chief ones i think are Phantom-Trick Hoopa healing allies and Razor Leaf Leafeon giving bonus move speed when the leaves are out
Curse Horn Leech is my default build for Trevenant! But my win rate TANKED to like, 42% so I quiet dropped it but I def miss it

Yeah i played this build a few months ago its honestly pretty underrated, you should also try cursed bangle on him
because its a push/shove move. Essentially stunning them if you push them to wall. Stuns are valuable support move in unite, if only my teammate would utilize this.

Me and curse trev go way back, and if there’s anything I know how to do, it’s control those resets. So happy my favourite move set is back in the meta!

Also this is so good for getting healers out of team fights, as long it's not grav clefable
Have you ever tried CURSE with CURSE BANGLE? I to am loving this moveset, as i did love it before (i don't recall if it was just the wood hammer buff or if there has been a curse nerf) but have found that for me weight and curse bangle are the 2 core items, and 3rd slot can be resonant, cookie, wp or focus. Having basically a great AoE constant damage the curse bangle effect is almost always applied and with the curse (move) attack scaling ration that 24 extra attack is also very sweet.
PS this season i am going anyway with curse, usually with horn leach but depending on matchups sometimes pain split is better, and you don't "need" to run different items tu run optimapply either of the second moves.
I still need to try if this curse build can be effective enough to run exp share as 3rd item. With wood hammer i always wen full tank with exp share, resonant guard and focus (and buddy in place of guard when guard did not exist).

I like the sparkles. It’s a hint towards shiny Pokémon like the animation when you first throw it out of a poke ball, but isn’t a direct recolor making us having to rebuy skins. Plus if they did make shiny skins buyable, would it just be the base skin? Or apply to all holowear 🤔
this was actually the build i use when hammer was bad it was around s3-4 i think, for items i use weight, weakness, focus or cookie back then this build occasional gives me triple 100k
In my journey in becoming one of the best tree that was my go to but im liking pain split now because I like being unkillable so my team can get away. And I don't stack at all with tree
Trevenent is so interesting with curse, you can manage buzzwole with horn leech and you can destroy sure hit attackers with pain split, hope they only nerf it a little bit and not too much
I think running Curse Bangle over Weakness is better tbh. You get to still heal and keep the enemy from healing with AoE damage and your crowd control
Curse painsplit can get trev(in the games I played with weakness, focus, and cookie) I get the top or closest to top of dmg taken, dmg delt, and healing. It’s crazy as hell against EX min even with comfy

@@SumitKumar-jx4pk Probably just hp items like Resonant Guard, Weakness, Focus Band, but if you want to be real spicy you can try Cursed Bangle to debuff the dude you pain split for the whole duration
