My new favourite cleaning tool is a Scrubby cleaning pad (the ones I bought are by Kilo and EuroScrubby). You can find all my declutter/cleaning videos here ua-cam.com/play/PLxIYCyTLBED8Wax351mgTMw2dcA8XvrqQ.html
Hi Diane, heading into spring at the end of a busy day. Greetings from NZ. Months into Flylady routines (tweaking because I work revolving 24 hr shifts, 7.00 am-3.30pm, or 2.30pm-11.00 pm or 10.45pm - 7.15am). With no set days. So far routine for am shift, is working well, pm shift I combine features of both morning and evening routines. At this stage I survive nightshift as well as I can, then hit re-set and go again. Thanks for the encouragement, to give things a go and permission to just get things done without being perfect.
You are so blessed to still have your mom, at 84!!! My mom died exactly 2 weeks before she would have turned 70, back in ‘94. And oddly, turning 70 REALLY bothered her! She didn’t have to deal with it. I’m sure you had the BEST TIME with your mom and aunt!! Hugs 🤗 to you and your mom!! Oh, and back on topic, what amazing kitchen cupboards you have!!
My Mum is terminally ill right now, she was diagnosed with cancer throughout her body in June, and it's such a shock to her and all of us! She's 77 and always been active and it's heartbreaking to see her now and know what's to come soon! Treasure your Mums/Dads/loved ones, I'm really struggling imagining life without my Mum ❤️ xx
WOW! I'm going through some of your videos again Diane and found my own comment from 5 years ago!!! I'm still here and putting one wobbly foot in front of the other! So grateful that these old videos are still here and looking forward to a fresh go around at the Christmas Missions. God bless, lots of love and take care xx
I was in the UK for 2 weeks this past April and fell in love with Scotland! I LOVED Edinburgh so much ! What a wonderful city ! I could live there ! The books are such a lovely family treasure ! Thanks for sharing Have a lovely day ! 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
My great grandmother used to bake for the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec, Canada. My grandmother was a wonderful cook and baker. Sadly, I only have two of her original recipes. Your family cookbook is a treasure. Love your purple sweater.
I’ve gotten parts of the house organised enough that I can start doing zones. So here I am, excited to go through the kitchen drawers. ...who am I... lol
Hi Diane, What a treasure!! I love your Grandpa's cookbook. My Grandpa was the head baker on a battleship in World War II. We have his cookbook and it for mass amounts of people. Considering there was rationing they ate very well. Today I am washing my windows in my kitchen. I love your video. Stay warm. Here in Oregon we are at 75F. xo Becki
We have had those scrubbies for a while now and are quite fond of them. I put mine in a small net bag so that I can machine wash it with my kitchen linens.
Magic minutes! Yay! Great recipe books. Hi to your lovely Mum, hope you all had a great time together. Got guests but need to do something so I'm off to declutter my tea/coffee cupboard! xx
Welcome home, Diane! How neat to have those recipes. I'm almost 10 years older than you and my mom is 99! I went out with a friend today. Tomorrow it's going to be close to 100 F where I live. I am going to get up and cool down the house early. I'm doing it a bit now. Just sticking to some short bits of pupa ( pickup/put away) tomorrow. I get to help babysit Sat. where they have air conditioning. I"m looking forward to a bit of autumn weather. I started using my light box today to help with SAD. Some years I have problems and some years it's minimal. Lovely lavender sweater! RoseLynn
🤣 Ha; "not the 70's". I'm "retro" and love cheese and pineapple on cocktail sticks. It will come back into fashion🍢🍢🍢🍢😁. Loved seeing your old recipe books.
I also use cocktail sticks for olives, sausages or cheese with ginger. and of course for the world famous dutch bitterbal with mustard. I’m hungry now....😂
That "math of life" game (e.g. "I've lived more of my life in X than in Y place," "I've been married longer than I was single" etc) can either be sobering or fun 😅. Last week I was exactly 6 months into this organizing system and watching your vids regularly. And while the difference is *HUGE* in my life (incl mental health ⬆️) I still find I need these vids as reminders and encouragement. I'm committed now but it still doesn't feel easy/natural. Maybe it will take a full year. Says she hopefully 🤔🙄😆👌
How precious to have the book that your great-grandfather wrote his recipes in! Perhaps they can be adjusted for four? :) Glad you and your Mom and family had a great time together. Thank you for sharing with us.
I live in Jutland and really enjoy my (not skinny) dip now the temperature has become perfect. 14 C and 14 minutes this morning swimming with the ducks. Such a nice way to start my day 🤸🏻♀️
My mom would store water bottles in the bathroom. If you don't have the room. I wonder if you could type up recipes and use a online converter if there is one you would love to make? Just a thought.
Love your video Diane! The necklace you’re wearing beautiful-is it another clothes swap find? It’s just what I’ve been looking for - I’m a fellow T1 (but S2) in DYT x
Love the sparkling necklace--looks rose gold on camera. Between the long necklace and the long v-neck, you look Tthoroughly Modern Millie!" Really works with the tunic length. Compare the proportions next time you watch your favorite movie. 👍 🎶💜🎶💜🎶💜🎶
Your grandfather's handwritten recipes...wow what a treasure! On Allrecipes.com you can adjust the servings of a recipe and it does the conversions for you. I'm not positive but maybe if you typed them in it would convert them...if you decide you want to make any of the tasty treats. Regardless, what a special thing to have and pass along in your family. I think I must have some Scottish in me because the only reason I eat a donut or cupcake is for the frosting! 😉 🍞🍩🍪🍰🌻
Well you know I love a decluttering video!!! So lovely to hear about your adventures in Edinburgh. I have a confession.... don’t be cross as we are supposed to be decluttering stuff but I bought the Asian Kitchen cookery book and it’s brilliant!!!! I love it! Xxxx
Hello Dianne...I bought those scrubbiest and they are great. I've only used mine in the kitchen so I will be anxious to hear how it goes in the bathroom. On another note, you've inspired me to look at my closet differently in terms of trying different combinations. Happy skinny dipping!

Thank you, thank you, thank you dear Diane in Denmark! You are a bright star in the universe! (No need to be a "professional you-tuber.")

LOL! The "stick food" has been and gone several times since the 1970s. Glad you are still enjoying it!
I also use cocktail sticks for olives, sausages or cheese with ginger. and of course for the world famous dutch bitterbal with mustard. I’m hungry now....😂
great declutter! I went through my teas this morning.
Cheers with tea, Jeanne!
I love those scrubby pads too! They work well and are easy to wash.
Wow Diane! You should get those baking books published.

Hi Lisbeth! Your sea temperature is a little higher than here in Copenhagen, we are currently at 15 degrees 😀 Hope you enjoyed your dip!
Love this. Needed the motivation. And I also love your sweater. Where is it from? I love your style.

We’ve got those scrub pads in America.
They’re called Chore Boy Golden Fleece. Not pretty & decorative, solid gold/yellow.
Love the sparkling necklace--looks rose gold on camera. Between the long necklace and the long v-neck, you look Tthoroughly Modern Millie!" Really works with the tunic length. Compare the proportions next time you watch your favorite movie. 👍
