Trying our best to brighten up this road as the hedge was out of control! The fly tipping and litter was just insane, we want to help set an example of a community spirit. You're so right about how we don't want litter to become normal to kids! That's so important, and we want to teach them to take pride in keeping their neighborhood clean.
I agree. For a while I lived in Dundee and litter there is a massive problem. I was sitting on a bench one day in the pedestrianised shopping area when I saw a girl about 10 or 11yrs old and she opened a plastic bottle of juice, did the look from side to side and then chucked the lid on the ground. This was despite there being waste bins less than 5 feet from her.
It’s not just kids though. It’s young adults. They drive along and just chuck fast food rubbish out of cars like it was the norm. Back when I was a kid, we had The Keep Britain’s Tidy campaign and there was regular adverts as well as being taught in schools. Doesn’t happen now because it all has to be paid for and no one wants to pay. And yeah I know TV isn’t the same, but places like YT should be forced to play x amount of public ads imo.
@@richards7909 kids, young adults, proper adults... it's everyone. Not too long ago I saw a grown man across a very busy intersection (so he was in the view of dozens of people) walking towards me, and he was right in the middle of the sidewalk. To his left, a large grassy area, to his right three (3!) separate rubbish bins next to eachother. The two sides were of equal distance to him, so it really wouldn't have mattered to him, where he goes. He still chose to go left, right up close to the grass, and drop his empty waterbottle there. Why? He could have taken the exact same steps to the right, and yet.... makes no sense to me. Some people really don't know any shame.

I hardly can wait for Jim's renovation to start, meanwhile I have to wait until next Friday to know what the "secret makeover" is all about... so much excitement! BTW, haven't watched TV in at least 20 years strong. Who needs BBC when you can have Flawless Cleaning? Meanwhile, giving back to the community by reclaiming a sidewalk, cleaning a littered park so kids can distinguish the difference and take pride in their neighbohood, that's what you beautiful people are all about. Setting the standards high up in the sky! A big shout out to Jack, Collins and big daddy Paul. Much love to you all, viewers included!

And this is the reason you are so beloved, Ben! I love that you are so willing to just pop over and clean up some trash that wasn't on your radar, but it bothered you as a Father! You wouldn't like your sweet boys to play in a dumping ground instead of a fun play ground. You are the light this community needs. I agree 100%! I was so impressed that he even picked up cigarette buts! Being a retired custodian, and picking up the grounds being part of my job, I loved this! (Also from the PNW!)
You are a terrific role model!! It takes all of us pitching in ,For twenty years I have help keep my local neighborhood free from litter through collecting it when walking my dogs. I have picked an incredible assortment of human produced trash and am quietly proud of my little contribution to my small USA town.
Another brilliant blessing to the community Ben, thank you, thank you. To those who discard their litter everywhere, please please take it home. The time Ben spent picking all that litter up was time he could have used to bless someone desperately needing a helping hand.
If EVERY PERSON ON the planet CARED as much as you do....what a difference it would make. Each person that follows YOUR EXAMPLE is a blessing to the world.
Ben, you are a credit to your community. You deserve a Price of Britain award, or at least a mention by Keep Britain Tidy, if they are still a thing...
I did that in a local park. I just got so sick of looking at it every day when I was walking the dog that I decided to stop moaning about it, got the gardening gloves on and took some black bags with me. Very satisfying!
You're absolutely right-we must prevent litter from becoming normal for kids. It's crucial to teach them the value of keeping their neighborhood clean and taking pride in their surroundings.
Going the extra mile to clean the trash out of the park was phenomenal. Excellent work to you and Jack for clearing out that sidewalk! And to your father and Collin for the hard work they always put in!
Ben, You truly lead with your heart. Thank you for always thinking forward and setting a great example. Awesome team work with you and Jack as well. The world needs more of you.
I will never get tired of watching your channel, nor will I ever tire of saying that you truly are an inspiration to us all. Many thanks for making all our Fridays.. 👍👍🏴
It would be lovely to see the parents organize a clean up day. Everyone chipping in to make light work of it. That generates pride and an investment in keeping it nice. Have prizes for most garbage collected, a nice little picnic and a few games. Once a month would keep it under control.
I love the fact that that lady said thank you to you both for doing the hedge. So nice to see others appreciate the hard work you are putting into your community. Great job you both did! ❤ What gets me is why isn't the Council doing these jobs?
Great job Ben and Jack, you need to be able to use the public pathway and now they can, sure everyone using that path appreciates not having to cross over or walk in the road. And Ben clearing the park litter, that makes a difference seeing it all clear for the children to play in. Great job all round. Xx
I'm always amazed at the amount of trash you expose when you trim hedges!😮 thank you and your friend from doing that! What a shame that people leave the park full of trash like that!😮 everyone should be as concerned as you are about bringing up children properly! Kudos to you!
This made me feel grateful for our city's public workers. There are always people who groan about taxes, but to have clean streets and parks is such a blessing. Thanks for spreading the message that we can pitch in whenever we're able to improve our communities!
As a child I was never allowed to throw litter on the floor when I was outside. My mum would ask us to give her our sweetie wrappers and she’d put them in her bag or pockets to take home and bin. I see so many people now just throw what they don’t want on the pavement and it makes me feel angry. If only more people would be responsible for their own litter. But hooray for you and the crew Ben! Great job. Also can hardly wait for the next Jim episode...
It really baffles me. Why can't people bring their rubbish home? What is it that people think it should be the council's responsibility to clean up after them and their kids? If you're bringing your kid's to a play park that has been provided for you to use, free of charge, the least you can do is take your rubbish home. Why have parents got no pride or a willingness to teach our children to be responsible? This young man deserves the very best of everything. Not only for the fantastic work he does but also for being an example in teaching his children that giving is better than taking. Much respect and blessings to you and yours Ben.
You’re an angel you really are ❤ I wish your vlogs could be played to the younger generation in schools so they can learn morals, kindness, generosity and how much an influence they can have over their own communities. You’re a top bloke ⭐️
Ok… confession time… I started watching these videos because, let’s be honest, Ben is a SERIOUS piece of eye candy… but now a good many months later, I watch because I am truly amazed by what “ the gang” accomplishes. A few good men who are a genuine inspiration and renew faith in humanity! Keep going fellas the Flawless Cleaning groupies are all behind you!
Thank-you for putting the "community" into the community spirit! I agree that when someone, anyone, gets started on picking up litter, that more people are likely to pick up litter. I've seen it happen around our neighborhood. Thanks for getting that started!
Problems lay with the fact that many home owners seem to think their hedges are allowed to extend further than their premises boundaries. Absolutely superb task completed guys. The bins issue is down to the councils not bothering to empty them. We allowed a bin outside our house. We had to have it removed because it wasn't being emptied and the litter was overflowing into both mine and my neighbours gardens. The council moved the bin 100 yards down the road. After 6 months they removed it completely claiming where it was situated was dangerous for thr contractors who alleged emptied the bins. The only time they seem to get emptied now iz when they are full and surrounded by rubbish and someone rings the council to complain.
The dropping of litter is an epidemic across the country imo - and that's a playground!! It's all about teaching people it's wrong - Thanks Ben, the people who are thanking you are probably not litterers but you should revisit that place in a month and see if it's still tidy, you set a great example!
Council could invest in multipurpose trash bins. Plastic paper cans and general garbage. But it only works if emptied and used. When my kids were little, they were taught to never leave their garbage in the car and if something dropped on the ground either intentionally or by accident they were told to pick it up. It’s a simple thing, but it shows real respect for neighbours and for workers. You guys did a fabulous job. Obviously the neighbours were appreciative. Shame on those people that dump their garbage. We have to pay three dollars Canadian for a bag of garbage to be picked up. We do so much recycling. And organic recycling that we only put our garbage out maybe once a month. We now have this engrained in our society as the kids are taught this from day one. Have a great weekend and bless you both for what you do.
Looks so much nicer now. Can't imagine any parents letting their children play amongst all that trash in the park. Who on earth is not taking care of their responsibilities? Here in the states, the city is in charge of parks/recreation space management. Doesn't always get done here either. Not in a timely manner, anyway. Usually some calls to the city will get a crew sent out. It's a shame it comes to that👎🏼 You've cleaned up and made it inviting once again. Well done! 🎉🎉🎉 19:23
😔 Sonst wieder wunderbare Arbeit! 👍
Absolutely brilliant! You’re spot on, we don’t want our children and young people to think rubbish everywhere is ok. You’re giving people pride in their community. Hope all is well with you and yours. Great to see Jack again, another good hearted chap.
Thank you so much for caring, Ben! Litter is a real problem here in the US too. I don't understand why people can't just throw their trash away rather than tossing it for someone else to clean up.
Im always irritated that people can carry food wrappers or cups or cans out of their house, but not carry the empties back home again! But, then, im old.😅
Hi Ben. Excellent job on trimming the hedges and making the pathway safe to use. I was truly impressed how you cleaned up the park for the children. Good to know it is safe and they won't pick up anything there. Also, a big thank you to Jackie on helping you with the hedges. You do a lot for the community and assisting those that can no longer do it themselves. Can't wait for the surprise to see what has been done. Have a great weekend with your family. 👋👋❤❤
Jack and Ben you trimmed that bush very well and cleaned up the litter. Ben thank you for cleaning up the litter at the playground and emptying the trash bins. Everything looks so clean and it's an inviting environment now. Your videos always makes me feel better. It was so nice to hear the people passing by thanking you for your service. God bless you gentlemen once again!❤
There are no words to thank you and your team for the great work you do for the community. No matter from what country your followers are,we all have respect and admiration for you. Regards to your beautiful family ❤
Se ognuno facessimo del nostro meglio, il mondo sarebbe più pulito e vivibile, serve solo una coscienza altruista, grazie ragazzi per ciò che fate, amorevolmente!!! ❤❤❤
Loved how you picked up others trash. I, too, pick up trash on my walks around our community. It really is very disturbing seeing how irresponsible people are about their trash. The one that really gets me are the people who take the time to pick up their dogs poop and then throw the filled bag on the street or into the bushes. It's not like the bag of poop weighs 10 pounds. So, thank you once again for all of your time consuming work. It's always a pleasure to watch your inspiring videos.
When Ben said "pram" at the beginning, I thought for SURE we were going to see Dad in some sort of baby outfit right after! LOL!! Such a nice transformation of this hedge and sidewalk! HUGE difference for the community!
Ben, you and dad, Jack and uncle are “Superstars”⭐️, not many people would do what guys do! You guys are burden breakers for others , we your viewers appreciate you guys tremendously and love ❤y’all . Hoping all the best for you guys and that your blessings will be to lack for nothing 🙏🏽!
It a shame the council can't empty the bins or even community service to pick up rubbish to give back to the community for wrong doing trying to put things right is better than doing nothing thank you for people that care and do something thank you ❤❤
You are an absolute Angel Ben. You go above and beyond for your community. If everyone just made sure to put there rubbish in the bins or take it home with them it would be a help. The council should have someone who checked on the play grounds/ parks at least twice a week especially in schools holidays. X
You and all of your crew are a godsend to your community! This world would be in a better shape if everyone followed your steps. Thank you for allowing us to watch as you change your part of the world!
Love that you got so many passers-by saying 'thank you'... when even one person cares enough to do something, it does start a ripple effect. We know this already, but always good to be reminded. Well done to you and to Jack for putting in a shift! Looking forward to the secret makeover! 😊🙌👏
You are the most lovely person, to clean the park and empty the bins the council should be ashamed of themselves, clearing the pavement as well ❤❤. Pauline. Wiltshire
Ben, you are a shining example of what we all hope all of our children become! Thanks to Jack for helping you out in this video! Can't wait for next Friday!!!!
Thank you Ben for being the change you want to see! What you have managed to achieve in such a short time is astounding. You and your Dad deserve Knighthoods!❤
You, Ben, are one incredible human being. Not only do you freely and happily give your time and effort in the service of helping other people and the local communities, but you have the additional gift of inspiring others to help you. Look at the people: Colin, Jack, all of the other people who volunteer to help with your projects, the companies who donate all of those tools, supplies, and/or their professional services…and best of all, your delightful dad and his sexy pink shorts. You have all of these people who are happy to subscribe, watch, and even donate to your causes. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if quite a few of your followers, here, have been inspired enough by your generosity and compassion that they have stepped up and helped others in some way. You are a very good fellow, Ben, and I am very proud of and impressed by you. Thank you for adding positivity and compassion into this world.

I mean it's a win win situation, two handsome guys working hard and a usable sidewalk too. Great job guys! 👏
Welcome to Britain 2024, everyone walks past thanking you, but nobody stops to help.
Good to see young Jack again!
Sonst wieder wunderbare Arbeit! 👍
Absolutely brilliant! You’re spot on, we don’t want our children and young people to think rubbish everywhere is ok. You’re giving people pride in their community. Hope all is well with you and yours. Great to see Jack again, another good hearted chap.
thanks so much, teaching our boys to put their rubbish in the bin too

Happy to see those pink shorts again Dad.
He wants to stand out clearly, loves it
You are the best, picking up the litter just shows your kindness and respect of the community. 🥰
That's MUCH more navigable! Cool!
Another great blessing, Happy Birthday to Theo hope everything goes well. See you next Friday 🙋🏻♀️
Thank you Jean! appreciate it, have a great weekend
Machines - the lot of you. Nice to see you again Jack, well done mate.
Your work is always amazing
Very kind of you to say!
But, then, im old.😅
I agree thanks for watching
LOVE LOVE YOU ALL 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS WORLD A NICER PLACE TO LIVE ON
Ben, you and your Dad are shining examples of what community spirit should be about. Wish you nothing but the best of what life has to offer. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank youuu for watching
Let's have a Jim update! ❤️
Pinned comments and community tab for updates, we can't start work until 19th September.. meaning the next episode will be October
Great Job as always. The people pay a lot of Council tax, for those areas to be kept clean. You went above and beyond ! Well done.
Thank Ben!!!
Thank you Carol!
You are all
Such a great gift to the people you help and the community at large. Legends❤🇨🇦
Such needed jobs, Ben --- you (and all who work with you), are such a blessing to people and to community!🥰🥰🥰
Ben, Thank you for caring!! Again I say, you are what’s right in this world!! 💚💚💚
When Ben said "pram" at the beginning, I thought for SURE we were going to see Dad in some sort of baby outfit right after! LOL!! Such a nice transformation of this hedge and sidewalk! HUGE difference for the community!
Excellent job! Thank you for tidying up the children’s park and making it safer for them to play. 🏆
You all are awesome. Thank you for setting a good example for so many to see… blessings to you!
❤Great job. Hi Jack!
Appreciate it Lisa!
The garbage pick up was so nice of you. And satisfying, not boring! Wonderful job all around.
Ben you are such a wonderful person. I look forward to your videos each week. THANK YOU!!!
Well done Ben and Jack those hedges are fab wheelchair users would not have been able to go past those before 😊
Appreciate that Alison!
Ben, you are a blessing to your community. 🤗💖
It a shame the council can't empty the bins or even community service to pick up rubbish to give back to the community for wrong doing trying to put things right is better than doing nothing thank you for people that care and do something thank you ❤❤
Good job guys! What you are doing matters! I hope people appreciate it and want to emulate your caring deeds
God bless you all x
That was fun. Thank you Jack for helping out. I’m sure everyone will appreciate the cleanups. ❤
Love that you got so many passers-by saying 'thank you'... when even one person cares enough to do something, it does start a ripple effect. We know this already, but always good to be reminded. Well done to you and to Jack for putting in a shift! Looking forward to the secret makeover! 😊🙌👏
cannot wait to show you the surprise makeover

Great job. So generous with your time and energy
thank you for going above and beyond to pick up the local park/ play ground.
Great community spirit. You and Jack really made a huge difference. ❤
All that litter mounted up and wedged in the overgrown hedges😡. You two superstars have done an absolute Stirling job. 👏🏼🌿
