A elderly lady just moved near me. From watching these videos inspired me to help her. Spent 4 hours putting up some drawers and helping in garden next week whilst I’m out of work. She offered to pay me but refused and said pay it forward

She's part of the problem. A stroke comes from obesity and doing nothing.
It's 5% stroke, 95% sloth.

I can understand completely where and how the lady feels I too suffered a stroke jus over a year ago I still can't walk but still take charge over my garden , sending healing thoughts for the lady and a big thank you to you and your dad 🙏😊

Carol, I have also had strokes, they are different for us all, please know that at 1 year on your healing may still be continuing. Every year we go out with hand tools and get stuck in as much as we can but Ben cut it back so much which has enabled us to put things in place to prevent it getting so bad again. We all work full time with families and it’s hard to be round there every weekend. We’re putting down weed membrane and stones where we can and astro turf everywhere else with a few flower beds.
@@ikkiNsavedSome families set aside one weekend a month for all of the siblings to get together and do the work. It goes so much quicker and can actually be fun and no one is resentful or taking too much time away from their own yards,homes and families.🤷🏼♀️ ( Instead of frivolous gifts through out the year,maybe all chip in for a power weed eater or bush trimmer)
In America, and especially in Las Vegas Nevada, people would give their eye tooth in order to live in such a beautiful and what we would call historical structure. Thank you for revealing this diamond.

It's best not to jump to conclusions about the children. Nowadays everyone is struggling. People in their 20s or 30s need to hold down two jobs just to survive and to come and tackle a garden once a week, not everyone can.

Beautiful job, Ben and Paul! I love Paul's sense of humor! I'm always struck by how lucky you are to be able to have such a close relationship - and friendship - with your dad. I know we all say that constantly, but it's wonderful to see for both of you. And then, in turn, to watch you building such strong relationships with your own sons!
Tina looked overwhelmed with gratitude at the end. The kindness you and your dad show is immeasurable.
If you're planning to make this sort of cleanup a regular thing, though, you might want to invest in gas-powered trimmers. They would have zipped through through bushes and that grass in a fraction of the time. Add a battery pack mini chainsaw and you'd be all set to handle anything!

Those words "You don't have to explain it to me." made me cry. 😢You know, in fact when you're in a bad situation, there a so many people who call you lazy (mostly after your back). If you're not able to change things, it doesn't mean, you don't see the mess. It makes you sad every single day!
In fact you're praying for an angel to come, but the hard reality is: There is no one one! But suddenly the devil comes out of people who are saying some cruel things, spread rumors and make you feel even worse.
I had myself some neighbours who complained about my dirty windows. !) That time I was to weak, but nowadays I would instantly stop them and say: "Shut the f** up and mind your own business!"
As a single mom I had my priorities and that was to fulfill the needs of my kids. That's why I love the family outros so much. My kids were at the same age back then and I choosed to go swimming with them instead of cleaning the windows. And now I'm am much wiser and can confess: I would do the same again! It was the best decision to spend time with my kids.
If you got all your tasks done, you can think about cleaning the surface.

Thank you for helping this woman. I've experienced that....one minute a house with a beautiful cared for garden/outside, then even a small stroke disabled enough so that a place can easily turn into a desolate wild area plagued by weeds and forest of volunteer little trees even in the space of a few years. No one thinks what happened to this person, maybe they need help. I'm so happy you are helping her. May the Lord continue to bless you for your kindnesses!
The thing that makes me respect you and your dad so much above the others on here is how well you clean the house or community centre, you deserve all the great things that come your way xx
