    Hi Jini. 6 months ago I was dying, painfully. 40 horrible bowel movements per day and a lot of blood (to simplify the horrific symptoms). My gut is now one of my most trusted friends and I am completely healed - and my shipwrecked emotions. 5 months ago I would never have believed that my body was shouting at me because it wanted me to take control. I am eternally grateful to you and others (Dr John Bergman is important) - for helping me get my life back. I am also passionate about this topic because so many people do not know what the answer is and are kept confused. Thank on behalf of us all! Today I am pleased to report that it's a joy for me to come back to this lecture, completely healed.

      If I can do it, you can do it! Don't leave it until your hands resemble two ripe pomegranates to reflect what's happening inside your GI tract. Act while you can - and claim your life back for yourself! Happy (sensible) Christmas.

    This is a fantastic, educational and supportive video. It’s also SO uplifting when you’re struggling. Currently in a major flare (UC and Chrons) and I’ve kicked the medical path to the curb - was just getting worse. Finally finding healing from this protocol, I’m looking forward to the future.

    The greatest advances in any field come when there is an increase in communal learning. I am inclined to take this information more seriously than much info out there because it is a compilation based on the results of many people and an interactive feedback between teacher and students. Knowledge base here is much wider than most I have listened to, keeping in mind that there is always room to learn more. Great info and thanks for sharing your story/life Jini! Also love that you include the spiritual/emotional factors. Equally vital, often ignored in our material-based culture.

    Thank You sooooo much Jini, you are the first person that I've heard address the bleeding alone with the IBS/Constipation situation I am dealing with. I know it was divine intervention that led me to your site. I have been praying for relief. I have been dealing with rectal spasms and bleeding for years; taking stool softener which just causes more bleeding but when I stop the stool softener I am right back to constipation. Between stool softeners, muscle relaxers, and doctors that have no solutions I am exhausted. I am looking forward to reading your books and beginning my path to healing. Thank you again! God Bless!

    Jini Patel. I've suffered from a terrible form of bleeding Crohn's for a long time from 2011 to 13. Only after using some of your methods along side fitness and bodybuilding did I become completely healed. I never tell myself I'm cured from fear of relapsing but I've been well for a long time now. With out immune suppressants. I applaud you and thank for your knowledge and willingness to inform and educate. Information I believe is universal and free. Thank you!

    I was diagnosed with IBS when I was 12 and diverticulitis when I was 21. I’m now gluten and lactose intolerant. When I follow a strict diet I’m usually okay but I’ll always end up having some bloating. I’m a full time student so even when I do eat pretty well I’ve realised that during stressful times I’m literally dying for about a week. The last year I have tried to follow natural pathways and it has helped a little so I’m very excited try your steps.

    I need to do this for my son. He has one of the worst cases of crohn's ever seen. He is in constant pain. At 12 years old he was diagnosed with Graves disease which the doctors never treated. The at 25 years old he had CANCER ,then after an automobile accident where a young man almost killed my children ,he had to be rushed into surgery because he had a ruptured bowl.. now he is dealing with crohn's.. the pain is unreal everyday. I pray for him everyday for help..

    I cant tell how much this, the colonic massage video and your book listen to your IBS has helped me. About 7 months ago I started to feel like I was going a little bit more tan usual to the bathroom but it wasnt until 3 months ago that I started to feel the horrible symptoms of IBS-D (constant diahrrea, anxiety and panic attacks, malnutrition since I could not eat well, etc). I was having about 10 bowel movements per day and even had to quit my job (i worked in a place that youu had to be completly aseptic) as my doctors where doing all the tests and everything came back negative and they could not find a cause of it. At the end my GI diagnosed me with IBS and I started treatment right away, but even though the treatment was helping, I knew that it was not helping me heal completly as I wanted because as she said, "I can only help you alliviate the symptoms so you can have a more stable life, and this part of the treatment is up to you -as I could take the medicine as I felt the symptoms- but is up to you to take the correct care of your body". I know that our body has the capacity to heal itself (it takes time, you know) and as I was researching for this disease, I came across with this video. I decided to go further and saw your book, and started reading it. I started implementing all the things you wrote, like the probiotics, vitamins and suplements, as well as the diets, and could notice the improvement within a week and a half. I started alternating my IBS medicine with this holistic approach, and now I have been "drug free" for about 3 weeks. I know is not that much of a time, but I can tell the difference is BIG. Thats why I cant tell you how grateful I am that I came across this video, and I know we all pass through difficulties in our lives, but is because of that that we can help others in need. And you helped me, as you gave the correct tools that I needed so that I could start giving them to my body so it could start heal itself.

    Jini, I don't think I have much of a gut problem (esp. after bone broths and a return to pre-processed foods delicious diet, I learned about in a few cooking courses of Weston Price's info), but so many of my clients do, so this great talk you have so generously shared: "8 Key Steps for Natural Healing of Crohns...etc." was so very helpful, and a huge thank you to you for all the intelligent testing and thinking you've done - it was fascinating and made me so happy. From the old methods - experimentation,studying to understand what the body needs, honoring the body's messages and responses, watching the results of certain actions....how deeply refreshing! @Adam William Cahill In that case, you may have better results with the topical protocol. Jodi, I spent most of last night in an emergency facility seeking help for unbearable stomach pain, vomiting and constipation. The findings were: Mild wall thickening in the distal colon, minimal colonic diverticulosis, gastric diverticulum in posterior fundas, urterin fibroids, fatty liver as well as a small spot on my liver. When I woke up this morning I immediately started searching online for causes and cures and found your video. WOW What an eye opener! Great information, expertly presented. Thank You !!! My doctor, of course, wants me to have a colonoscopy immediately and has scheduled me for a consult this Thursday 2-18-2016. Now, I don't want to go but instead rather try and heal myself. My question is that much of the information that you provided was more focused toward IBS, IBD and chrons disease. Given my diagnosis do you think that I could tailor your program to my specific issues and if so how would I do that? Thank You so much for any help and wisdom that you could share. My Best, Jan

      +Jan Park-Rankin Hi Jan - Wow! Congratulations to you for being so proactive! Firstly, I've had numerous people buy Listen To Your Gut who do not have ANY gut issues! They say they bought it because it's the best compendium of 'how to be healthy' they've seen. Secondly, go to my site and click on the "Heal Your Symptoms" page - look up diverticulitis. Next go to my blog and enter "colonoscopy" into the Search box and download my report. It will tell you what to do before and after to minimize damage/risk. Lastly, go to Dr. Jonathan V. Wright's site and he has an excellent protocol for dissolving uterine fibroids using potasssium iodide. You go girl!

    My husband completed this protocol this month. It took six full weeks of of bowel rest, bone broth and probiotic support from Natren, but he is finally, after several years, feeling NORMAL. If I had not stumbled across your video, I'm not quite certain were he'd be at today. I'm posting his response to your protocol (we only used the above three components) to let others know that it actually worked for my husband. I had little hope that it would, because it seemed so simple, but it did. The bowel rest was only partial as we couldn't invest the 1K per month in predigested supplements. For that component, we relied on Ensure Plus, which provides 350Kcal per shake. This protocol is worth trying!!!!

      +Roman Hernandez Healing is not a linear process. There are ups and downs and little mysteries to be solved along the way, and messages from the body; sometimes requiring you to change tactics, other times asking you to look for the emotional/spiritual message, other times asking you to hold on and just breathe deeper. YOU have to discern this, no one else can do it for you unfortunately. And people experience a whole spectrum of responses. But for 1 person a little flare might mean they're allergic to some component, for another it might mean they have unacknowledged stress in their life or relationship that is triggering them.

      Hi Daniel,
      I am so happy to hear that!! Phase 2 of the protocol is after your infection is completely gone. As a reminder:
      Phase 1 - Until Infection Is Gone
      ▶ Wild Oregano Oil - 10 drops (or 2 capsules of oil), 3 - 5 times per
      day, on an empty stomach, until infection is resolved. This can take
      anywhere from two weeks for mild infection, to six months for
      severe, chronic infection. Use 5 times a day if you have a strong or
      widespread infection, or, 3 times a day for regular infection.
      Also apply topically, if needed, 3 times per day till completely healed
      ▶ Natren Probiotics - (all three: Megadophilus, Bifido Factor, DigestaLac in powder form only) once before bed on an empty stomach
      until infection is healed; 1 tsp. of each powder mixed together in
      6 - 8 ounces of filtered, room temperature water. Do not use the
      Natren Healthy Trinity capsules at this point since we need the good
      bacteria to begin colonizing in your mouth (swish around before
      swallowing if you can) and esophagus, as well as stomach, small
      intestine and colon. Try to take it at least two hours after your last
      dose of Wild Oregano Oil.
      Once you are healed, you can then move on to Phase 2, which should last 3 months.
      I hope this helps, and I look forward to hearing even more good news on your end. =)

    Hi Jini, excellent presentation! my health started declining in Sept 2013, first diagnosed with Parkinson's (tremor in left foot, and now in Sept 2015 my left hand), then early 2014 started waking up in the wee hours of morning with some sort of seizure event which lasted several minutes, body temps were in low/mid 90's, after several weeks it seemed to stop, then had another similar event which had some sort of muscular contraction in my upper left chest down to my stomach, come to fine out a PD med was causing elevated CPK muscular-skeletal enzymes, I came off meds and cpks went down, but my body never fully recovered. Eventually ended up in a GI's office, I was told I had GERD, and they found peptic-ulcers with a small intestine test, no treatment, except for a PPI- proton pump inhibitor which never helped! Was also told the sphincter valve stays open causing stomach acid flowing back up. Also had Candida in 2014, treated it with Doterra Essential Oils and I think it's possibly back? Fast forward Sept 2015, used a fluoride rinse from dentist for 2 weeks, I became so sick... and have never recovered.... I tried a Wellness dr for 2 months, and she loaded me up with a bunch of synthetic supplements, still live in pain (stomach, to chest area). So a month ago I went to a corrective chiropractor, and he found some issues, I have 2 ribs out of place, a hiatal hernia which I knew, but never treated until now, and spine that he could tell I fell out of a tree at age 8 on top a branch that broke. I think I have a leaky gut, and maybe some IBS, def don't have Crohns, but I can't wake up in mornings, always in fight or flight nervous sys pain and anxiety which ratchets up my tremors, my voice is always horse, reflux, still get the chills at home... but I think you're gut solutions could help me?? What do you think?
    I found this little tidbit of info which makes think it's my stomach and hormones and thyroid, also maybe Diverticulitis:
    When your gut dwelling bacteria are populated with healthy colonies they assist with digestion, immunity, hormones and processing of vitamins and nutrients. When harmful bacteria take control, this is when disease begins. The gut is also known as the second brain. This is because the gut houses the enteric nervous system. This nervous system consist of some one hundred million neurons and makes use of more than 30 neurotransmitters, including dopamine, serotonin and acetylcholine. More than 90% of the body’s serotonin lies in the gut, as well as about 50% of the body’s dopamine. Hopefully my tremors would improve, with a healthier gut. These neurotransmitters regulate functions such as mood, sleep, sex drive, appetite, memory and learning. Sorry for such a long post... :)

    I was diagnosed for the FIRST time with Crohn's at age 68, this past spring. I went to a GI for treatment of what I thought was hemorrhoids. Turned out to be a fistula- a sure indication of Crohn's. Never had any GI issues- my symptoms are all external- fissures, fistulas (which were "repaired" and ulcers. The pain is so severe I don't know how I get through the day and work 2 jobs. The colorectal specialist said that fistula repair doesn't always heal completely in Crohn's patients. He was right. Now the GI wants me to start Remicade- which my Medicare drug plan doesn't cover and I cannot afford. She is trying to get the drug company to provide it. I have found that avoiding whole grains, high fiber, salads and raw fruits and vegetables helps (never liked them anyway). This is the exact opposite of what my colorectal specialist and GI recommend- proof that they don't always KNOW what is best for Crohn's. I had to figure that out for myself. I have never had a colonoscopy. I never WILL have any invasive test like that- no reason to. I already have my diagnosis. Like you, probiotics seemed to make it worse, as did Tumeric. I do take Vitamin D oil. I also take NSAIs for arthritis, which I have had since my 30s. At this point, I have decided that the medical community is NOT seeing the REAL problem here- Crohns and other gut diseases are caused by BACTERIA. It took the medical community decades to realize that ulcers were caused by the h pylori bacteria and now they can treat ulcers effectively. I have no idea how long it will take the to figure out that Crohn's is also a bacterial infection and THAT it how it needs to be treated. I understand the biologic drugs available now (like Humira, Stelara, Remicade, target the T-cells that are causing the inflammation but I have never seen feedback where they actually can put people into remission. And of course the side effects are horrible. I was wondering if you also felt as I do, about a specific bacteria causing Crohn's -so a specific antibiotic could be developed for it. Seems like the medical community doesn't even have that on their radar.

      @ListenToYourGut1st  6 років тому

      There is a bacterial/fungal hybrid called Mycobacterium Avium Paratuberculosis (MAP) which I talk about briefly in the video. It is on the radar of the GI community, BUT it is the drug companies who control the medical industry. Dr. Thomas Borody - a GI at Sydney University bases his treatments on eradicating this and other pathogens. You might want to research him if you want medical guidance - some fly to Sydney for his treatment, but the complete cycle can take 2 years.

      You came back with the key - so of course I will. I consider it a duty. About 35 years ago, distraught, frightened and in intense pain 24 hours per day, I met an old guy 'Alternative' practitioner - without whose knowledge and selfless expertise I would not be here today. With his help we got my body remobilized and fully functional. When he died about 1993 his widow showed me newspaper cuttings of him being buried alive for more than 20 minutes. Not many people can do that!
      Without him, I naturally drifted into meditation. I then met the person who was to become my (now ex) Japanese wife, and in 2007/8 we finally had a successful pregnancy, and such an adorable little girl. Also in 2008 I lost my long-term job in Japan to major bankruptcy and struggled frantically for 6 years to support us and keep us together, eventually in vain.
      Aged 59, 15 years later and 12,000 miles away I find myself alone in a very emotionally distraught, angry place (with not even a tourist pair of chopsticks as a souvenir of my life). A strange eruption of "Pompholyx" on both hands and a gut problem lead me to various internet sites, and then your own. After twice following you through the technique you demonstrated I said there had been 2 profound effects - to which I must add another:
      The third being my body recognising the emotional link to the gut problem. The major point of an old back problem (mid spine, right side) became my initial focal point, and the whole of my spine relaxed. It was really scary, because tension dramatically increased in my lower abdomen (LLQ) which also became very heavy. Tension relieved 100% in one place to increase pain and discomfort elsewhere - which was why I repeated the exercise. I am not cured but I feel a lot better already, because you reminded me of something very important:
      30 years ago I had renewed levels of flexibility and resilience, which quite literally allowed me a life. So, what's 'remaining' may now be once again accessible to me. Even though I may never see our beautiful child again, she was the result of similar flexibility and resilience - not to mention large doses of determination. She was everything to me, of course!
      I am physically being consumed by emotion due to too much chaos over an extended period of time. And too stressed and depressed to meditate! But today I woke differently from the past 3 or 4 helpless years, which I cannot easily explain.
      May I just say that I cannot thank you enough!

      +Michael H You're welcome! And thanks so much for sharing your story Michael. Having lived in Japan for 2 years I shudder to imagine your struggle to provide for your family. Funnily enough, I'm working on a new Tapping video right now that I believe will help you release some of the oppression/trauma of those years. I hope to get it up by Saturday, so will tag you here when it's ready. There are also many EFT Tapping videos available here on UA-cam and EFTuniverse.com has a lot of great articles with tapping transcripts. I suspect the work you did through my Safety/Resilience video will continue to unfold for a week or two though.
      SO much admiration for you, for not giving up and for persevering to find your healing opportunities. As you suspect, once you remove some of the layers of emotion/chaos you will be able to meditate again. Although I have to say, when I go into a deep EFT session, my body/mind is in a very similar state to meditation. I encourage you to go take a look at a book (it's on Amazon) by Wyatt Webb called, "It's Not About The Horse". I'm wondering if it will resonate with you... xo

    For me I need to avoid any food or products using corn syrup, high sugar foods, dairy products, fried foods, etc. Good things to have peppermint oil, hemp seed oil, L-lysine, oilve oil, pure cod liver oil, aloe vera, and pure vegetable & fruit mixes.

Period. Nuts, Soy, beans. lentils, feremented foods, all high in Histamine. So how can one heal the gut with this issue? I also cant fast, becuse I m so thin already.

    Hi Jini, just wondering what the difference was between the Angstrom Minerals Iron(plus Vitamin C) and the newly added QuikPlus Atom-sized Ionic Iron?? I currently have Crohn’s Disease, and was wondering which iron supplement to buy. Big fan, I loved this presentation!!!

    • @ListenToYourGut1st
      @ListenToYourGut1st  3 роки тому

      Hi Marcus! Thanks for reaching out! Angstrom Minerals Iron with Vit C is a product I've carried for a long time now, but some can find the Vit C to be irritating to the gut. Quikplus Iron is something I MYSELF formulated last year - it does not contain Vit C or anything that will trigger the gut (and is a better product in my opinion, though I am biased! LOL). I used this iron myself to raise both my hemoglobin and my ferritin (iron stores). It works really fast and there are no intestinal effects as it does not require digestion. For this reason, it should be safe to use whilst bleeding (if dealing with this symptom) - but go slowly and test it to be sure. :)
      Also, if you haven't already, I recommend reading my home remedy page for Crohn's Disease here: listentoyourgut.com/crohns-disease/
      There you can download a FREE Crohn's Quick Start Guide that includes Ch. 1 of my book Listen to Your Gut, an IBD resource list, a podcast on probiotics, and common questions we receive from readers + answers.

    Hi Jini,
    Your work is remarkable, thank you. I was in the ER last Saturday due to bright blood covering my stool that day. I didn't do a colonoscopy or blood tests so I have no idea what the diagnosis is. After a chat the doc suggested I try eating more fibre and if the blood continues, to get a colonoscopy which I don't want to do.
    I have made some quick shifts in diet and I have seen no blood these past days...and my constipation has eased as long as I eat a very specific diet and drink a ton of water. I feel good. However, the fact that there was any blood (and maybe still is), and that I am, and have been, constipated as the norm long term, that tells me I need to do more.
    After reading some of your writings, I did buy Wild Oregano Oil and Natren probiotics and am starting on them today. I am looking at my diet to see what else I can eliminate and bring in, including making bone broth today. My main confusion is, should I be doing something more radical, like following your EXACT 8 step plan including doing enema's, buying the shakes etc? Should I be focusing on Listen to Your Colon instead of Listen to Your Gut, since my issue is constipation? And given that I feel fine, does that suggest I could simply change my diet (long term) and all will work itself out? or do I need to be more intense and do all of your Phases and steps? And, if in my case I could just do the diet shift, do you have a specific book of recipes that would meet my situation of giving me all the nutrients I need and eliminating my constipation and blood? I could go get colonic irrigation but I wonder about the risks. And yes, I agree, all the emotional stuff continues to need to be addressed. Thank you for any pointers you can give on what degree of response I need to have to this blood and constipation. Much love.

      +Moe Bruce Hi Moe, WOW!! LOVE the attitude and responsibility you are taking with your body. Just fabulous! To answer your questions, if it were me, I would start with Listen To Your Colon. There is a LOT of info in Listen To Your Colon that is not in LTYG. And it may very well be that your constipation has caused either an anal fissure, or an internal hemorrhoid. So check out both on my Symptoms page or my blog as well, start here: blog.listentoyourgut.com/how-to-heal-internal-and-external-hemorrhoids/ And of course, more info on fissures, hemorrhoids etc is in the Listen To Your Colon book. As you've identified, Step 1 is to get to the root cause(s) of your constipation and heal that. That may be all you need. And yes, I cover the emotional aspect of that as well in LTYC. Big Hug!

    • @moebruceable
      @moebruceable 8 років тому +1

      +Jini Patel Thompson Thank so much Jini. The doc checked and it's not internal hemorrhoids, so I'll check out what you say about fissures. Last couple of questions I hope! :)...even though I don't know if I have an infection, it still felt intuitively worth doing the anti-biotic and probiotics protocol. Is that an okay decision from your perspective? And finally, in honoring the 'take them on an empty stomach,' I am doing the 20 mins before or 2 hours after a meal...is it okay to drink lots of filtered water any time day or night or does that have to be limited around medication times, i.e., does that impact the 'empty stomach' requirement? Sorry if my questions are basic...taking care of my diet and health like this, is brand new to me! Thanks and big hugs back! I will order your book or books tomorrow.

    • @ListenToYourGut1st
      @ListenToYourGut1st  8 років тому

      +Moe Bruce Yes it's fine and good that you did the protocol. I think most humans would benefit from that protocol! And it is part of the gut flora balancing needed for constipation anyway. Yes, the 20 mins before/2 hrs after is correct for "empty stomach" and no you do not need to limit water intake. The "empty stomach" designation is only to avoid digestive juices - which water does not trigger. Also, one more thing to keep in mind if your doc does want to press ahead with more tests, is to have a sigmoidoscopy done first. FAR less invasive and they can use a disposable sigmoidoscope and avoid all the risks of unsterile colonoscopes. But hopefully you will not need any and can get your healing underway shortly. Okay, I'm out until Monday. Take care.

    Jini, love your story and your products and am friends with Dane Johnson. I had a question about the protocol. If I believe I have a yeast infection can I just go on the elimination shake diet to kill this off or do I need to take Wild Oregano Oil. Because according to your book it says not to take probiotics until you are on solid food but you need them if you are using Wild Oregano Oil. Confused? Also, I have a J-Pouch would you recommend the same elemental shake diet with someone he suffers from pouchitus? Thank you very much. Dr. Scott

    • @linsyltygteam7402
      @linsyltygteam7402 2 роки тому

      Hi Scott! Thanks for reaching out, and good question!
      The elemental diet helps to kill off pathogens, but adding in WOO (wild oregano oil) can definitely speed up that process, and/or may be essential for stubborn infections.
      In my opinion, candida is a pretty stubborn pathogen that usually needs the oregano oil (in addition to the shakes) to kill it. That being said, with any anti-pathogen treatment you also NEED probiotics, so you have to take both in order to get the best benefits. Separate these by 2 hours, as the WOO is powerful and will kill all bacteria - and you don’t want it to kill off the good bacteria in your probiotics!
      Whether you are on solid foods or not, probiotics are always helpful. So if it was me, I would introduce those as soon as possible. Just be sure to start low and slow - meaning start with a small amount (I literally started with a pinch!), and slowly work your way up to allow your body to adjust.
      We did have one reader whose colon had been removed, plus he had short bowel syndrome (where a lot of the small intestine has been removed). Needless to say, getting enough nutrients is a challenge for him! He has used Absorb Plus regularly and ongoing for about 5-6 years now. However, what he found helped was to also take some psyllium seed powder at the same time, to slow down the transit and bulk up the liquid. He would also take some L-Glutamine on an empty stomach to further assist - but he found the psyllium worked better for him than the L-Glutamine (which makes sense since L-Glutamine’s water-absorption activity is primarily in the colon).
      I hope this helps!

    • @ListenToYourGut1st

      Yes to the bentonite clay - but not continuously, or long-term, as it can also clear out your good bacteria. See my blog for more info on it. Cayenne you will have to test, put it on your skin first and see what your skin does (same cells as your intestinal lining), then if all is ok, you can either test on the lining of your mouth/lips, or, start really small and build up.

    Also- do you believe it would be beneficial to get a test done that checks your gut microbiome (determines which bacterias are plentiful/low)? It sounds almost to good to be true to me because I would know which probiotics specifically I would need. What are your thoughts about it?

I have solutions for both on my site - go to the HEAL YOUR SYMPTOMS section. Hi jini. Hope you're doing well. I came across your videos about a month ago. I got diagnosed with crohns in 2011. Since then I've been on prednisone, imuran, methotrexate, remicade, and humira. I was taking remicade and methotrexate up until late June of last year where I decided to stop the drugs and try cannabis(specifically cbd oil). I also started the scd diet in August(still doing it and not helping). However the cbd oil worked wonders..I was able to function normally. Unfortunately my symptoms started coming back on March 25th. It seems my body build tolerance towards the cbd oil. I recently also bought a kangen water ionizer machine after researching on the health benefits of it and seeing testimonials on people with crohns going in remission. The water has given me lots of energy but my crohns is still active. Now I'm on prednisone and remicade. Still my symptoms are there and I'm at 90 pounds now. I just started a diet from a book called "feast without yeast"

    • @ListenToYourGut1st
      @ListenToYourGut1st  8 років тому

      Hi Musa, regarding the servings, you ingest the amount you need according to your current body weight. If you ingest too much (which at your weight 9 servings would be too much) you will just pee out the protein. You can use the instructions here as a guideline: www.listentoyourgut.com/absorb/4/product-uses.html But most people start with 4-5 servings per day and then adjust if/as needed. You can also go on a half-elemental diet too: blog.listentoyourgut.com/half-elemental-diet-prevents-crohns-flares/ Have you signed up for my 7-week free Healthy Gut Guide yet though? Savannah B, LTYG:
      Hi Ivan,
      Stomach pain can be a side-effect of intolerance, and the only symptom in common with a ‘normal’ response to an elemental shake is the Diarrhea - the natural result of eating nothing but liquid food. Jini strongly suggests not to persist in ingesting something your body is allergic or intolerant to, and risk triggering a flare-up of your gut issues.
      That being said, pulled directly from this post per Jini, “when you are thinking of going on an elemental diet, it is very important to test a sample, or a few servings of the elemental shake first - to ensure your body likes the ingredients. You may even want to consume just 1-2 shakes per day for a week first - to allow your body to slowly adjust to this new food source, and at the same time to check for tolerance levels. The elemental shake I (Jini) formulated, Absorb Plus, has 43 different ingredients, but the ingredients most likely to be the culprits in an allergy or intolerance are the protein and the maltodextrin components. I’ve used cassava root (tapioca) maltodextrin in Absorb Plus and the protein source is either whey isolate (casein-free and lactose-free since those are the top allergen for those with a dairy allergy or intolerance), or, sprouted brown rice protein (typically well tolerated).”
      In this case, she may want to give the vegan version of Absorb Plus a try to see how her body responds. You can find it here: shoppe.listentoyourgut.com/absorb-plus-vegan/
      If perhaps she is allergic to the tapioca maltodextrin in Absorb Plus, in that case, she can use this guide to formulate her own elemental shake according to which ingredients she can tolerate: blog.listentoyourgut.com/create-your-own-elemental-bowel-rest-shake/
      She can also use a free-form amino acid elemental shake (but please be aware it will be very difficult for her to maintain or gain weight without a di-peptide bond protein source) that does not contain maltodextrin. Or, use these whole-food shakes instead, if she can: blog.listentoyourgut.com/use-common-foods-to-heal-inflammatory-bowel-disease/
      I hope this information helps! Best of luck to her on her healing journey.
      Best,
      Savannah B

I dont see anywhere on the web people who have done it and it worked. Only people she talks about. I need to see them post it myself.

    Hi I was just diagnosed with diverticulitis. I found your videos very informative. But what can you suggest for me to take to avoid flares? Or if I get into flares what should I take in? Love from the Philippines

    I just bought 2 weeks supply of your elemental vegan diet, is it ok to take oregano oil during the 2 week period, or do I start it after with the probiotics? Thanks

    • @linsyltygteam7402
      @linsyltygteam7402 2 роки тому

      Hi Darrell - that is awesome! Personally, I usually always start on the probiotics first so that the beneficial bacteria can get in there and begin colonizing - and then I begin the Wild Oil of Oregano. So if it were me, I would either do 1 week of just shakes and probiotics, then implement the woo during the 2nd week, or you can do the 2-week elemental diet with the probiotics, then begin the WOO. Here is a free download with more info on WOO: listentoyourgut.com/woo/
      Also, it's essential to take probiotics while taking any anti-pathogens, as the anti-pathogen will kill ALL bacteria in the gut - good and bad. You want to replace the bacteria lost with GOOD bacteria (probiotics). We only recommend the Natren brand, as it is the most effective brand Jini (and I!) have used - and has the science to back it up! Here is a free download on how to choose a potent probiotic: listentoyourgut.com/probiotics/
      Here you can shop Natren probiotics: shoppe.listentoyourgut.com/search.php?search_query_adv=natren§ion=product
      I hope this helps!
      - Linsy

      Hi James- that's great! Thanks so much for sharing. I also recommend bone broths and have written a blog on using common foods to heal IBD. Here it is, if you're interested: blog.listentoyourgut.com/use-common-foods-to-heal-inflammatory-bowel-disease/

      @@ListenToYourGut1st interesting! Thanks for sharing! I have read that overripe, black bananas, are easier to digest. The only thing that makes me nervous is that the SCD AIP diets and other sources state that the longer a fruit sits, the more sugars in it grow over time. This is why I love the sweet smelling plums that are ripe but also going bad potentially lol

    I just was diagnosed with eosinophilic esophagitis and anstral gastritis. I also did a stool test and I have histamine intolerance, which I never had, C. Diff and high Calprotectin. Are these considered leaky gut since they are inflammation in the stomach?

      Your picture sounds really complicated! In this case you really need to consult your doctor, as well as work with a practitioner who has the big picture and all of your organs and symptoms in mind. Here is the doctor I recommend: listentoyourgut.com/dr-juliet/
      She is fluent in my protocols & has healed herself of Crohn's, and she can provide the same level of support, wisdom and insight that I would.

    RE: 1:12:25 into the video. How how broken is a health care system when doctors who use your protocol for their own family members and fully trust your protocol and are being healed after using your protocol, can't tell their own patients or they will lose their license?

    Fantastic information, I've been looking for more information, I was diagnosed with Diverticulitis in July. One question, I don't eat meat or dairy, will this healing diet work with vegan geletin, coconut yogurt and other non meat/dairy products?
    Thank you so much.
