I wish there was a tape to check for that Raptors playoff win in '19. Where is anything like that? That will go game by game, show analysis and highlights, etc? I don't know of anything really comprehensive like that. I guess NBA doesn't want that to get out very easily.
Honestly this was a really fun game to watch. Until the last quarter. There were some give away calls in the first half but nothing major. Watching what happened in the third was absolutely embarrassing. Players, coaches, and staff are always held accountable, and someone should be holding refs accountable in embarrassing moments like this.
Refs have no respect for the game of basketball.
Sad part is they’re doing this every night some games are just too obvious to see their dirty work

The fourth quarter became a complete turn off to watch. It went from being exciting to just frustrating seeing how the refs rigged this game. Quickley should not have been fouled out and the other team definitely did not deserve two free throws! Scottie's shot didn't even count. Outrageous!
They ruined a really good game too … it didn’t get bad until the final 5-6 minutes but it was clear around then what the agenda was. Embarrassing as a baskerball fan to watch that

Respect to Darko Man. Says the truth and doesn’t hold back. Man is saying what a lot of other people are afraid to these refs are outta pocket.
But yet they never get fined for costing games. They just say they made a mistake late, and that’s it. When LeBron shot that one 3 that was clearly a 3 against the Wolves, they didn’t want to admit they made a mistake. The same was true with Jaylen Brown being extremely fouled on a 3, but they called a foul on Porzingis, after which it was clearly a block. The league is rigged; these refs bet on games with lots of money to win lots of money, and they are in control of the game. A NBA ref makes $250k to $500k a year to blow a wristle, which is a super simple job to run back and forth. I would do that job, plus you need no colleging to be an NBA mascot; make bank too.

On espn it was already stated that this coach was likely to receive a sizable fine, but I really don’t understand why. He is defending his squad and standing up for injustice. How can somebody be disciplined for that? This is one of the fundamental flaws in the world that is the NBA.

This is more to do with the league wanting the Lakers and LeBron in the playoffs. We’ve seen this last year too. Without LeBron complaining about calls which caused the highest FTA differential in the league for them then the Lakers don’t even make the playoffs.
They even rigged it for the Lakers back in 2020 because Kobe died and the storybook ending for that year…

How can you play the sport, put out a product when you only allow players to do one half of it. I just don't like it. lakers had 20 freethrows in ONLY 3 minutes (close to NBA record), and raps got 2 offensive fouls + 1 bad flagrant foul on a contact eurostep (exact ref words, the step through was very fast and with force) ... just bad and corrupt DO BETTER
Calls went one way. They didn't want to give the Raptors the same soft whistle they were glad to give the Lakers.
