HOWEVER, with so many bad calls against TOR, the AD flop was just salt in the wounds. Toronto should have won by a dozen even w/ the moving screen/flop.

They swept the KD+Kyrie Nets and beat the defending champs Bucks and the Heat in 7 games. Meanwhile the Warriors played the depleted Nuggets, Grizzlies, and Mavs. The Celtics had better defense and led 2-1 at one point. It’s just that Curry was him.

I'm hoping other coaches start doing the same. The league can hand out all the fines they want, but if all the coaches start calling out refs publicly like Darko did, something will have to be done about it. Anyone else notice this reffing issue got way worse once sportsbetting became big and was advertising every 2mins during NBA games? Someone is definitely getting a huge payout for these rigged games. I wouldn't be surprised if Ben Taylor's wallet was a bit heavier after that screw job of a game.

Crazy and embarrassing how quickly they breezed through this. They didn’t show any clips from the game and 3 out of the 4 guys didn’t say a single word about a topic that was being talked about all over social media by the fans of the game. The game was so good up until the last 4 minutes. Then the refs couldn’t stop blowing their whistles. It’d be one thing if they were calling actual fouls - but they weren’t.
I’m a lakers fan and I’m not kidding, I found no satisfaction in that win. We did not deserve to get a win against Toronto.

Wow!! The lack of coverage here is telling. Shaq, Kenny and Ernie no opinion, Charles quickly gets in that he 100% agrees with Darko because he knows they are shutting it down quick. Almost like the league will fine them if they mention someone mentioning the refs.

And every call went to just 1 team. That's 2 FTs/minute. It was a FT practice session, not basketball. Even if u take away the take fouls at the end, the call was like 0-14 at one point of the game. If this doesn't scream rigged, I don't know what does..

@@Myhaay if you count the intentional fouls, it was actually 2:23. This was just the 4th Q alone. It was hard to watch every touch foul going to lakers but the same want called for for Raptors. Those kids were playing hard and compeeted all game. It sucks to see their efforts stolen so blatantly like that.

Yup. That way they can sweep the problem under the rug and keep rigging games. I'm hoping Darko opened a can of worms, and more coaches will follow his example. If all coaches who experience this sort of crap called the league and refs out, something will have to be done about it. They can fine the coaches all they want, but it would be a huge embarrassment for the league if more coaches did what Darko did to the point where the league would have to do something about it.
I saw clips of scottie Barnes getting fouled at least 8 times through the entire game that weren't called and would have been called for the lakers and i also saw lebron offensively foul scottie in the 4th also completely drove his elbow into his ribs twice and traveled on the same play this game should be investigated
Scottie was being fouled the entire game. I noticed that too. They were hacking at his arms when shooting, so much contact in the paint. It was a joke. I remember the third quarter ending and thinking "Unless the refs do something stupid, the raps got this game." Low and behold, the refs went and completed the most obvious screw job ever lol

I must say, at first i was pretty upset when dwayne casey was fired, then NIck N became an awesome coach. Then When he left I was pretty pissed. Now, I really love this new coach. The reffing has always been a problem for the Raptors and was very frustrating to watch, but nothing was ever siad after the game. DARKO is now my fav coach. The refs needs to be held more accountable. There should be a post game press confrence for the refs so they can answer for their crappy calls. The body language and attitude on the rest of the panel says it all on why the Raptors will always remain irrelevant to the US sports media. Hard not to agree with it. Watching it live, I knew it was a screw job of a game. It was the biggest joke I have ever seen when it comes to officiating in ANY sport. I have never seen refs so blatantly rig a game like Ben Taylor did that night. And he's DONE IT BEFORE!!!

💯. Absolutely cannot blame Coach for getting that heated. I forgot his name but the Grizzlies coach a few years ago ago had a similar argument where he argued that Conley should have been getting more calls, but because he’s “quiet” and “humble”, he doesn’t get them. He’s 100% right.
i got home in time to watch the end of the 3rd and the 4th quarter. all i could think of the officiating is that the reffing crew was seeing one color.

I been preaching this since last season with how the refs controlled gsw playoff games. I’m talking 10 fts for gsw and 30-50 fts for the others. Kings/lakers matchup was disgusting it’s all rigged for agendas

Darko took one for the team(s). Not just the raptors but most of the other teams and fans who are sick of the favouritism towards the lakers or and Lebron team last decade. It's just so blatant that 4th qtr, and the whole game how polar opposite calls were between how tight they were on raptors and how loose on the lakers. I think the fans and media will have a much tighter eye on the lakers game in this regard from here on.
