    How much time it takes to render is the main question? What's the point doing all this when the render takes 10 days for a 10 min video?

    • @purpleparkstudios4124

      I use Eevee and that renders real fast on my laptop. Unfortunately it’s not powerful enough to render video in Cycles

      @mutikidiary I mostly keep my videos to under 5 minutes max so 15 minutes could take awhile. But then again…it all depends on the complexity of the scene you are trying to render

      Hey! There is a tab just under the render settings where you can choose to render as a png, exr, etc etc just select the desired setting and render. I will be including a more in depth explanation on the topic in my upcoming course which I have not yet announced. The course will contain all you need to know to create stunning renders in Blender combining green screen footage into your scene

      You export by either adding to render que or just clicking export. Then you will get some option and it is important to choose RGB + Alpha when rendering. I do believe I have a video or two on exporting keyed footage from after effects

    superb tutorial. I want to start using greenscreen in my short films and integrate with Blender. I use Davinci Resolve, I abhor Adobes subscription model. So I would export into Fusion/Resolve. But it seems USD files are the way to go at the moment. As I would build the scene in Blender, mainly using images to texture the planes, with loop or knife cuts and extrusion to create a more realistic look. No modelling for me, I would be crap at it. What do you think?

    • @purpleparkstudios4124
      @purpleparkstudios4124  28 днів тому

      That would be a filming error. You may be able to work with it still by positioning the blender camera so that it normalizes or place a 3D object like grass or rocks in front of the feet if appropriate

      Last question: the chromakey person moves slowly inside Blender, even after rendering. I don't know if it's the rendering that came out of After Effects, or something with frames, but I notice a slowness.

    2m is nowhere near an average human height. For men it's like 1.75m and for girls it's like 1.65cm.

    • @purpleparkstudios4124
      @purpleparkstudios4124  Рік тому +1

      When working with green screen footage in blender you can always adjust your footage to any height you prefer. The basic human meta rig armature is 2m and also the default cube is 2m. Comparing the height of your footage to either the cube or the meta rig armature are great ways to make sure your footage is in the ballpark. Of course all humans are different heights and sizes so you will need to adjust accordingly.

      There is but only in Eevee. If you are using Cycles you won’t need the option because the images as planes will react properly to the light sources. If you are using Eevee, navigate down the material properties tab and you will see the options to change the blend and shadow mode. Hope this helps!
