You can remove the green screen from your video very easily using Blender, the free, open-source software. In this video we discuss lighting and filming as well.

Successfully followed this short tutorial to remove my green screen. However, in my footage I also have a green guitar... how would you advise me to remove the green screen, but not remove the green guitar?
.. should I maybe Rotoscope the guitar out?
Use a blue screen @@jamesgrant9184
when i export and add the video into blender, the background is black not png
There's a tickbox for "transparent" under render settings, I believe. If that doesn't work, let me know.
@@jasonjamerson it works but when i add image planes of that videos it has some retain unecessary shadows around the character, i want to delete those, but i want to keep the retain shadows of the character, idk how to do. Btw, Thank you so much for help
@@CloneLy-p1b ignore last message, set that shadow blend mode to alpha clip, or try the other ones.
@@jasonjamerson thank you somuch
20 seconds in and already have a problem. it wotn let me add an image. the option is there but its grayed out and doesnt do anything when i click it.
You enabled the addon "add images as planes," and you're in Object mode, and when you try to add an image, the "add image" option is greyed out? That's unusual. I would restart the program, make sure you're in Object mode and try again. Let me know.
made sure "use nodes". is checked
did you check the box that says "Use nodes" on the top of the compositing area? next to all of the "View", "Select", "Add" and "Node" options?
@@beatmeouttame Thank you! i had the same problem, it works now :-D
