Life is so not fair. This is why I've told my kids that if you can get out of bed in the morning and walk to the shower with your healthy body, don't complain about anything...ever.
I love Michael and it breaks my heart to see him have to go through all this. I'm 58 and I started thinking about my own mortality once I reached my 50's. I can't imagine how he deals with this.
If anyone deserves a miracle, it's him.

He is such a fighter. I admire his tenacity, courage and wit while dealing with PD most of his entire adult life. His foundation will be his lasting legacy to keep looking for the cure. For all the people out there, like my husband who was recently diagnosed. The research, the PPMI studies and the trials are all going to give so many people so much more hope. And we have Michael to thank for that...✨

My sister just passed away from Huntington's disease. It was like watching someone slowly get Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and dementia all at the same time. It is amazing that in the last few stages of some of these terrible diseases the strongest person thru it all is the one we loose. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to Michael and to your family. I grew up watching you and still watch the Back To The Future movies religiously. Stay strong and thank you for all the laughs you've given us over the years. Hopefully we find a cure one day.

I lost my sister to Huntingtons too.
Heavy to watch the deterioration and suffering without being able to help.

Huntington’s is insidious. Brutal for loved ones to go through.

If you close your eyes snd listen, you cannot see as much Parkinson’s. Takes about half of it away. He is still cognitively clearer than I am. I wish a miracle for him.🙏🏻

Michael J. Fox is awesome. His willingness to be open brings the plight of so many to the forefront. Thank you! Me: 53 cancer survivor Major surgeries. Chronic pain. Neuropathy. And please, don't let me live to be 80. I can't handle that many years of pain. I was forced to work for 10 years in extreme pain and I cracked, almost took my own life. There's millions of us out there living unusual lives. Never judge a man until you've walked in his shoes, and even then...don't. Judging is a dirty habit. Everyone has their own struggle but disabled people struggle Every. Single. Day. UP to Michael J. Fox.

While I understand all the other comments regarding how sad it is to watch this - I find it a totally beautiful thing that you have a wife that is so supportive and a man that is so determined to continue to carry on for the good of mankind!!!!!! My heart goes out to Michael, Tracy, and family. My father succumbed to PD in 2006. He was diagnosed a year or two after Michael. I know your struggles and feel your pain. My sister was recently diagnosed with PD too. Although they say it is not passed from parents or grands. Sending warm thoughts and prayers to you all. ❤

He is such a lovely guy! I hope he knows that we don't see him as someone with Parkinsons, we see him as his beautiful self challenging Parkinsons.
My mom passed away from Parkinson's in December. It was brutal toward the end. Her death was a relief in some ways because her day to day life was so awful. Parkinson's is a horrible disease.

You are quite the trooper, my Mom has Dementia which is a totally different disease. They don’t know that they are repeating themselves. It’s really sucks that you are aware, your body just doesn’t want to cooperate with you. You are a fantastic individual who has more guts than most folks. Keep on trucking you are a inspiration to us all. 😊
my mom has dementia too its really sad and heartbreaking she was always there for me and hasn't been there since I was really like 16

What MJF has done to raise awareness of this disease is his tremendous legacy. What a journey from the finger twitch that wouldn’t go away. I hope the day will come when the cure will be figured out.
It is heart breaking to see such a beloved actor in such a state and yet he powers through it all fighting to keep surviving.

Man it's hard seeing him like this. He's a strong man, because to be dealing with this since 29 years old, knowing your health is on a countdown rapidly without considering other options is the definition of strong..

F this disease. You can tell his mind is ready to fight but his body is letting him down. But he hasn't let anybody else down. What an amazing person to use his notoriety to raise funds and awareness to help fight it. I hope he lives forever.

Parkinson’s is a terrible disease. The constant spasms can be excruciating and exhausting. My husband had it affect all of his organs. They were in constant motion. I will continue to Pray daily for all suffering from these relentless diseases that progresses. Stay brave, Mr Fox. You have created more understanding and learning about Parkinson’s, and those trying to fine a cure(s).

This human , and his family , are so courageous accepting the end of a journey of a deeply loved ,loved one ,and that very loved one -maintaining grace and composure all the while .

Life can be so difficult, but Michael J. Fox has discovered the secret, life itself (although incredibly difficult for him with Parkinson's) is worth all that. He's in it to win it, living best he can, and determined to do so. I feel the same way even without such a disease. I am determined to live best I can, until...

Such an awful disease process. And he is admirable for everything he has done to bring awareness and to help further research for treatment. Brings tears to my eyes to how it has affected him through the years.

This is about as sad as it gets. Yet it is also something inspiring about his strength and frankness..
I really love and admire you Michael. From one man to another. You are such an inspiration to people all over this world that are also suffering from this disease. It takes something truly special to share such a personal thing as it progresses to the world. I just hope you know how much love there is for you and the unwaivering courage you have displayed over the years. just want to cry for Michael. I recently helped a man with parkinson's that could not do the task he wanted at his home. He had electrodes installed in his brain, that control his thrash. He rebuilt an eve on his house! I used the power tools, and he put it together. I was stunned. I thought I had resolve, living with chronic pain, but this man blew my doors off.
I hate seeing him struggle. Love you always, Michael!

Michael has fought the good fight. I thank him for all his contributions, and I loved his book. My father died with this terrible disease, it is a thief. He said that he would never want any of his children to be stricken with it, so far so good. May peace be with Michael and his family.
I view this clip with Michael and it reinforces how courageous he is and such a tremendous power of example. When I go through tough times, I know Michael's are far more compelling and it keeps my challenges in perspective...one day at a time.

Aside from the fact that I enjoy Mr. Fox's movies & TV series, I will also say he's a remarkable person, he truly is. I will admit that he's a lot braver than I would be, if I were in his situation. I'm sure he has his days, where it gets to him - emotionally speaking - but he sure doesn't show it. Kudos to Michael, for making the best out of an unfortunate condition. He's certainly setting a good example, for others that may have the same affliction......

In all seriousness, though, Parkinson’s is a tough disease. He’s very brave and his voice is very needed, showing the world that people with Parkinson’s - and other diseases - are STILL PEOPLE, still deserving of respect, still valuable members of society.

I know so many suffer with this awful disease I have not known anyone personally with it but watching Michael j fox, someone I have grown up watching since family ties it is heartbreaking to him like this. The way he has highlighted it though and how he fights against it and doesn't give up is amazing. He and his family are like so many, brave and determined to carry on.
