I just got one of these this week. I got antsy wanting to fly it and took it out on a day with a little too much wind. No damage, but it definitely hit the ground too hard a couple times so I quit for the day. I thought the same as you, that it takes the motors too long after a crash to shut down. I'm hoping to take it out again in a couple days without wind and try it again. Thanks for the great review!
I have a dx 2 micro drone
I'm having trouble hooking it to the wifi..its telling me to connect control interface...any ideas?
I have a problem with a propeller not re-engaging after a hard landing...it's like the plastic gear isn't catching and the drone will flip to The non working prop side...what can I do to correct that problem short of taking it apart?
Nonna Pop The drone isnt hard to take apart. I had the same issue with this same drone 2 days after I bought it. I had to push the gear on the motor shaft further down cuz it wasnt down on the shaft all the way. I pushed it on by pressing it on a hard surface. Good luck :)

I use my iPad Pro to connect to my DX-4. It has a bigger screen but you need two people, one to fly the drone and the other to handle my iPad.

Oh My, I just got one of these, Flew it around the yard Safely, then... got adventurous.. Took it out into the Field across the street Like THE WIFE Suggested.. A light South wind blowing, I was excited... Like a Kid on Christmas, Oh wait it is Christmas!.. Hit the liftoff.. Before I could get control,, It was gone Southwards towards the Bahamas @ about a 1000" (feet), hitting a few seagulls along the way avoiding it.. I chased the dern thing across several Major streets risking My Life, getting Hit.. Trying to get control... Going, going and GONE.... Came back telling the wife what had happened.. Got My daughters Smartphone & Controls, driving towards the Last known direction of Flight.. We picked up a Signal in a Real Sketchy neighborhood about a 1/1-2 miles away.. Attempted to do a video/tracking recovery.. after about 15 minutes, We LUCKLY found it in bushes.. For a safe recovery..

crossthread42 happened to me once!! It crashed into a tree! Waited for it to go down!! The wind was strong and it gave me my drone back😂😂
Glad you found it. Thing has a good video feed range. If flying in wind, always go to at least speed 2 if not 3.

I have the same drone and I can not get it to hover like that. As soon as I turn it on and want to fly it it goes everywhere else. Someone told me to trim it indoors with no wind and I have and it still doesn’t hover like it should.

I have a question I have a drone Video streaming addition Not The onel here And it'shas really no hours flying time on it , But today iti will not come on at all, last week it would turn on sometimes I would plug in to charge, light on charger would light but for long so i assume it's charged. turn on and nada, but if i left drone and controller on, and close it would sometimes come on. i have had it at least 1.5 yr but never really tried it, only a bit here and there. What mto do , what to do, what to do?

hey Dudes!!! just got one today.
And I have problems trying to connect it to my Samsung Android phone to view the cam. I tried the FPV in general since the is no more "FPV Flight" but no luck in making it to sync.

I can't get my remote and copter to pair. I have both batteries fully charged. I plugged everything in. I turn the copter on first then the remote. I then push the left joystick up then down and the remote beeps and goes solid but the copter just continues to blink at same speed. and won't pair. does anyone know why it won't pair.
So idk if anyone will be here but I "connect" to the wifi of it but when I try to connect to the camera it says I need to connect to its wifi. Any suggestions?

I flew it a few times and then one of the props refused to spin. Nothing is blocking it, its just doesnt move. Odd thing is, I had it plugged into the laptop to charge, and even with the power off, the one prop started spinning!
it also stopped responding to the remote until I reset both. Im going to clal to company tomorrow, but might end up taking it back to wally to exchange it.

they should have a tiny pendulum camera mount on it,only charg when u want to fly it, after u fly and deplet the lipo batt should wait a few b4 charging again, I got the same drone and share the same views as u but over all not bad.

Sorry, my dron dx-4 does not work but the dron if it turns on and the control also only that they do not have relation the two, the camera of the dron works to 100% with my cellular only that is the problem that does not have control the control like I can Fix that helps

The DX-4 I bought came with VR goggles and blade guards.
I have the dx 4 crashed it to a wall so many times I ran out of propellers😂 i just used hot glue to put it back together and its back to flying!

You have to move the batteries around. They don't like to stay in all the way

I bought one of these and it broke. Then I got a replacement and it broke. Then I got another replacement and it broke. Then my last one broke and they came up with an idea to say I broke the replacement.

My controller won't pair to drone. Drone lights just blink kinda fast and Controller light will turn solid but nothing works. Also underside of drone gets very hot.

i charge the batteries by putting it in the drone and charging it from there. it takes a long time tho. and idk about the link all i did is search up dx-4 sharper image replacement batteries

You know you don't have to connect to your own Wi-Fi the drone has built in wifi download 360 flight and go from there the drone has to be on to connect to wifi

Strange. I know that they can get caught up in the wind being so light. I live in town and it didn't look windy it was a different story when got altitude. I didn't lose it but I can see how one could that way.

+2 HEAT use the screw driver it comes with and theres 2 screws on each arm of the drone that you unscrew
