Hi sonnie, another great Vid, I've taken my dragon kayak to coombabah creek a couple of times, would love to try the canals, where did you launch for this mate please. Would it be OK for a newbie etc. Not to busy, choppy etc. As I'm from Toowoomba I'd like to tap into your local knowledge, cheers John. Thanks for your Vids cheers

Hey mate, I launched on the end of Aberdeen Ave Benowa. This spot is all residential with only one way in and out. Meaning less through traffic. The waters are very deep though typical of 2.5-4m. Ideal for inshore species like flathead, bream, cod and trevs. I love going here. Been an enclosed area the current doesn’t run as hard either :)
