I’m a keen fisherman who loves to go wet a line! I fish both Moreton Bay as well as inshore waters. I love my kayak fishing but equally love taking the boat out! My channel specialises on kayak, jetski and boat fishing.

Did some recent upgrades to the boat including the Minn Kota Ulterra i-link and Hummingbird Mega 360. I took boat out with my son for the first test run to see how it goes!

Logan River /Jumpinpin - Bad Weather Battle

Minh, my son and I fished the Jumpinpin system earlier in the day but were forced into the Logan River by the gnarly conditions. We persisted until we were chased off by looming dark clouds. Finished up with a good haul of flatties 🤟

Bristo and I wentured out on a weekend trip. We wanted to fish the Moreton Bay beacons but on arrival weather was undesirable. We turned around and peppered Brisbane River mouth. The result was incredible...I learn new things with each and every trip!

Always moor your boat towards end of pontoon mate so others can launch and retrieve while you park your car or get rigging up. Other than that great vid
I do mate. If you noticed at the very beginning of the video there were two other boats behind me towards the end of the pontoon. They must of left while I went to park the trailer.

Hi Sonny, just wondering if youve got any tips for catching squid in those shallow water and avoiding the jig getting snagged? I was in those area the after week and cant allow the jig to sink for more than 3 seconds or its a snag
In super shallow waters spped up your retrieve so they don't sink too deep. Alternatively if you are keen you can also shave a bit of lead off your jig so they sink a bit more slowly. Don't rush when shaving. Test it in a bucket as you gradually shave it off..
