Of all people getting movie awards I've never seen the crowd so happy for one person to get an award. I'm so happy he had this opportunity and sealed this award. For his first role I thought he should've gotten an oscar for this film after watching it a few times. What a performance! I'm looking forward for his future films once he gets more into acting again! I'll be cheering for this guy from now on. What a kindhearted man.

He didn’t want anyone hurt and didn’t want to kill anyone but just wanted livelihood. Not condoning his action but it just goes to show what happens to people in difficult circumstances.

Although this clip was made in 2014 and hence, I am late in congratulating Barkhad, I find it is so so important for all of us to witness "extraordinary things" happening to people who dare to dream, who dare to reach out and take a risk and who find joy, happiness, success, love, or whatever the heart yearns for.
