    Looks great man! We do a lot of wet blasting of concrete to create an architectural blast for clients, light-medium&heavy. We use a DB225, big enough to blast for about 30-40 minutes per 100lbs a pot. Oh buy a rain suit LMFAO

He knows about that too the 1st time I was at this house around 3 year ago he had some little white pegs all round the bottom to measure for subsidence turns out its not moved in 3 ish year so he was happy to build.

    Put some thought into buying a rotating nossle for the clean up water blaster, I did just that and can clean up a mud caked bobcat in a third of the time it takes with plain flat jet like yours

      Thank you I appreciate you input. Ive found that a wide tip don't leave snail trails behind as my goal to save me time is not to pressure wash the area I'm trying to put down as much water as possible not pressure wash as such I only need to move the waste media. I once did a small job on the rear of a house but because I had the turbo nosel fitted for the clean up I ended up having to power wash the full patio. I soon learnt only move or clean what I have to or I will be their all night haha

    Do you offer CPD sessions to specifiers in the building trade like myself? Way to generate more work and awareness.

    • @Mobileblaster
      @Mobileblaster  2 роки тому +1

      CPD another waste of money to a company that's going to give me a tick on my business to say I can train folk? Seams legit. Most to all blasting supplies will give some sort of training. These videos aren't a how too alot more is needed to no before starting to be safe but if you can take anything from these videos your more than welcome I don't hold any liability though. That's my disclaimer but to be fair every lad I have trained up has taken around 12 months apprenticeship with me on a day to day basis to get to the point I feel like they are safe and able to leave on a job. It looks easy and yeah it is but certain skills are needed to keep safe and not reck the job peace. I believe that's why blasting has a bad name because of the lack of training some operators do before starting out I get it someone has to start somewhere but the classroom should be the first point of call.
      To answer your question though no I don't have the insurance to have a ride along. Only way is to have someone on my books to be fully covered to come on training days and I'm not willing to set that up because as an employer I then need to setup pensions payslips etc etc

    • @kingofthewestmidlands4049
      @kingofthewestmidlands4049 2 роки тому

      @@Mobileblaster nah CPD sessions a lot of building/construction suppliers do them. They do them to share their experience and knowledge of that particular area and to also generate, in the long term a greater income. For example I use certain roofing materials when specifying works. You would make a lot of cash if you diversified into dry ice blasting, to clean/restore delicate historic buildings or even classic cars.

    • @Mobileblaster
      @Mobileblaster  2 роки тому

      @@kingofthewestmidlands4049 I've had dry ice from experience it was a waste of money I was trying to justify he cost of the rig and running costs they simply not worth doing they don't remove carbon off brick(very easy clean) the don't remove paint they only basically clean stuff like dirt. I can do that with the right pressure washer and chemicals then on the other scale I can basically do what that does with soda. CPD not a company that takes money to a credit me saying I'm fit to learn someone how to do what I do? Why do we need the middle man that doesn't know my industry but do have nice badges and tickets? This is just my opinion but I believe its a scam.
